Fantastic store that offers the very highest quality products available for every facet of the sewing experience. I am very fortunate to have such an incredible resource available to me. I appreciate being able to order online and receiving my products so quickly. At the same time, I love going into the shop so that I can select first hand from their extensive array of “top drawer” products. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. This shop is truly an absolute treasure.

If this shop had a moral alignment, it would be chaotic good. There is a huuuuuge selection with so many beautiful prints and soft textures. It’s truly a marvel. But you need to plan to spend at least an hour rifling through it. The shop is chaotic and jam packed. They don’t have enough shelves for all their inventory, so you’ll have to dig through boxes. The shelves themselves are packed three bolts high and look like they might fall over on you. You’ll have to walk sideways to get into rows. And the desk and cutting station is a sight to see. I’ve never been in a shop quite like it. And neither has the fire marshal. If you can overlook the disorganization, and are prepared to fight for your life to find the perfect bolt of fabric, it’s a lovely shop. They should definitely consider renting a larger space.

I’ve shopped here a few times! The owner even ordered fabric when I asked her about it!!! ❤️😍 love this store! They also carry amazing ribbons that I’ve not yet seen at other fabric stores.

Love this place! Like going back in time toa true fabric store. Recently moved to the area, this place will be a frequent stop Hugh selection of fabric and thread. They have the complete selection of Aurifil! Staff extremely helpful.

I have never been to Thread Bear when I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, and usually more. Janet and Randy are wonderful and very helpful. Their mail order service is great with deliveries coming in 2-3 days. This place is a quilter’s dream!

This is such a great store! The fabric selection is unlike anything I have seen! A place you can easily spend hours and get lost in all the fun prints, designers, and tools for sewing you may need! The owners are very helpful, they sold out of something I was looking for and they helped me find it online! Great people and a small local business I would encourage anyone to support!

OMG fabric literally from the floor to the ceiling. A Quilter's Paradise! it looks small on the outside.. but when you go in WATCH OUT! I had a wonderful time just looking at every color and zillions of patterns of colors and types of fabrics. I drove 1.5 hours from Athens to get there. It was well worth the drive. I will go back... with a more specific list.. I wanted to buy almost everything I saw.
