Was pleasantly surprised how much was packed into this little shop. Good selection of nice thick cut ribeye, smoked fish, pork chops, spare ribs - they even had really thick cut tomahawk steaks. They had a really good selection of brats, and was surprised me is that they even had stuff for a nice Irish breakfast, including bangers and black pudding. They have a few things for sides, but most of the emphasis is on the meat - the way the meat gods intended. Staff was quick to help, and I walked out feeling really good on the quality of meat. Will need to ask next time to see if they can offset up special cuts like whole picanha, etc

I’ve been into Meat on the West Side a couple of times now. My first experience I bought two New York strip steaks. The quality was phenomenal. For Easter I specially ordered a prime rib roast. They vacuum sealed it and tied it with butchers twine beautifully. The quality was amazing! Our Easter dinner was perfect! We have been very pleased so far with the quality and service. I’m so happy to have a meat market on this side of town finally.

I stopped in 2 weeks ago, and I've been back 4 times since. Amazing quality and prices, and a really pleasant staff. They have a great selection for a small store. I'm thrilled to have them here.

Ron has brought a magnificent establishment to a town that sorely needed a meat market. His prices are fair, his cuts are outstanding, and his staff is delightful! I smile ever time I walk in. I placed a significant order for a party of 50 recently. It was prepared perfectly. I picked it up exactly when I specified and it was exceptionally packaged as we'd discussed. I cannot recommend Meat on the West Side enough! Please do yourself a favor and support this local small business. You won't regret it.

Excellent selection of meat. Zero pressure, super friendly staff. Niche place with other awesome food sides and treats. A must try if you haven't and if you have you know you're going back again and again!

My friend and I purchased 5 lbs of their fresh Canadian salmon. It was the current market price and fair price for the area. The flavor and tenderness were above par; very succulent and delicious. Will come back to try more. Excellent butcher with extensive variety. Friendly service.
