    I feel 1 star is way too generous of a review for this shop! Brought my Honda lawnmower in for repair and was told the ignition coil needs replacement (a $20 part) and they wanted to charge me half the cost of a new lawnmower!!! It didn’t end there as I was charged a $75 “look see” fee and then got my mower back in pieces (even the spark plug was removed and not replaced!). BEWARE of this place….I vow to NEVER go back!!! Hi Dan, we do have a minimum charge of $62.50 for diagnostic on walk behind mowers. This is because we need to pay the technician for their time working on your mower, regardless of whether or not it is fixable. This is clearly stated on the check in form that you signed when you dropped the mower off, and is clearly stated on signs at our front counter. The $62.50 is for a half hour of shop time, which we actually spent more than that amount of time working on and looking up parts for your mower. We never like to charge anyone for something we don't have to, but we work on so much equipment that is not worth fixing that there's no way we could afford to stay in business if we did not charge for our time. I hope you can understand. Thank you - Ramer Small Engine Perhaps you won’t stay in business long if you continue such poor business practices. By the way, all I saw in your shop was teenagers! Who the hell gives back a machine that is in far worse shape then when it was brought in. For gods sake, you placed the parts in a plastic bag and attached to the mower handle?!!! You removed my spark plug and didn’t even put it back? Again, what a joke but my experience WILL be shared! BEST OF LUCK I'm so sorry if we did not make you aware of these 2 things, the diagnostic fee and the policy that we don't reassemble not fixed equipment. Did you see either the sign or read the check in form? I really apologize about this. We have been trying to find ways to communicate better and I do know we fall short many times - Ramer Small Engine You most certainly do/did fall short!!! Again, I will NEVER step foot in your business again and frankly shocked that anyone else wood. I will continue to pass the word around tho! I'm really sorry.     Caleb was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I drove across the whole state to buy a Ferris ISX 3300 from Ramer Small Engine. When I upgrade to the latest model in another year or two I will be returning to Caleb to buy another one. Highly recommend!!!

    It was important to Caleb that I was happy with my service at Ramer Small Engine. I asked him for help with part of a repair on my riding mower. He helped with what I requested, despite being super busy, and came in early to meet me and follow up on some questions I had. He went out of his way to build a relationship vs just charge for a repair.

    Caleb is very knowledgeable about the products that he sells. He doesn’t pressure you to buy anything that you don’t need. I highly recommend buying from him!!

    A great place to buy lawn equipment. Caleb and staff were very knowledgeable about the products they were selling. I felt like an appreciated customer while shopping, not just another “number” walking through the door.
