Stayed with Julia and Kris for the entire year I was temporarily in Madison, three months in the lakehouse and nine months in the Wilson building (Unit H/Hazel). I highly recommend both locations, and especially the Wilson building. Julia/Kris are responsive, reasonable and flexible landlords. You can tell they want their tenants to have a good experience and are continually thinking of ways to improve, including installing new washer/dryers, a new door entry keypad, and monthly happy hours to meet the other residents. The location of the Wilson is incredible, you are two blocks from the capital in the ‘corner’ of the capital with the most bars/restaurants/coffee shops etc (great Chinese restaurant, a big sports bar, and my fav Madison restaurant are all next door, not to mention the oyster bar in the building). The furnishings are great, it has everything you need. Internet is fast for anyone concerned about working remotely. Parking is in a hotel a block away, which isn’t ideal but a function of the old building. I was able to find street parking probably about 50% of the time though (it is free 6pm to 8 am M-Sat, all day Sunday). This is a very good option for anyone looking for a furnished rental.

I stayed at the Wilson for about 2 months. It was a small cozy 275 square feet apartment with 5 windows and a small balcony. The apartment has great light fixtures which I've found very easy on the eyes. The Zinus 12 inch memory foam mattress was so comfortable that I've ordered the same one for my new apartment. Julia and Kristopher have always been very responsive if any issue arises. It took me less then 3 hours from the first email to obtaining the lease agreement. Also, they are very accommodating if plan changes and have to leave sooner/later. I'd definitely consider staying there again and I wish them the best of luck in their expansion!

I recently spent three months living at the Wilson whilst working in Madison. I would thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay. It is in a wonderful location and my apartment was extremely well maintained. The team were always responsive to any requests although there were no problems at all during my stay. I would return without hesitation and if you are seeking somewhere to stay in Madison that is well equipped, in a great location and reasonably priced then the Wilson is the place to stay. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great location and very responsive property managers. Everything was well organized from initial reach out, application, moving in, and moving out. Perfect option for a monthly, fully-furnished place.

Our daughter stayed for the fall semester, as she was finishing up her degree in Madison. We had a wonderful experience. Julia, Afton and crew were helpful and highly responsive. If we reached out they always responded in less than 24 hours. The unit was completely furnished, to include linens, hangers, plates, etc. It was nice to not have to bring those things from home. It was move in ready and quite charming. It is a bit far from campus, however we were able to rent a parking space in a secured lot for an additional fee. It is also a bit more expensive than other properties, however with them providing everything and not paying for any utilities to include the Roku TV and premier television services, it was well worth it. We didn’t have to hassle with a full year lease and trying to find subletters. It was also nice for my daughter to be able to appreciate and explore other parts of Madison, not just State Street. 😂 Also, if you have a 529 education savings account you can use that to pay for rent, I believe it is up to $6.000 per semester. All in all, a great experience!

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in the middle of it all, so close to the lake and was so beautifully thought out and planned. It was a soft place to land and it held me well while I was in Madison. The social nights were a wonderful way to get to see and experience Madison in ways I otherwise would not have. Highly recommend.

The Wilson are some phenomenal apartments! Dealing with Julia and Kristopher has been a fantastic experience. They are very great, down to earth people, and I don't know that you could find two more easy to work with. We will always recommend The Wilson or any of their properties, simply for the fact that you get to work with them. Oh great furnishings and style provided are also a plus. Highly Recommended!

Kris and Julia are, without question, the best landlords I've ever had (and as a professional wandering academic, I've had a lot of them). My time at the Wilson and at 723 Jenifer St. was fantastic from beginning to end. I couldn't recommend this place or these people enough. If you're moving to the Madison area, and especially if you need a furnished space, look no further! You'll be happy you didn't!

My stay at the Lakehouse at the Wilson for four months was nothing less than wonderful! Kris and Julia are one of the best landlords I’ve had experience with. They welcomed their tenant on their boat for cocktail hour, are efficient with returning texts and calls, and make sure that your stay is as perfect as it can be. I would highly recommend this location and stay to anyone who is looking for a short term lease and needs something furnished!
