Great pawn shop. Lots of Pokémon cards, coins, both gold and silver, tools, and guns. This pawn shop seems to have a much larger inventory than most in the area. They had probably 30 handguns, and another 30 AR platform rifles. They gave me a great deal on a 10oz. Silver bullion bar. I will definitely be returning to this store anytime I'm in the Hammond area.

It was about 10 minutes before closing. I brought in a weed eater, and my nephew was with me. The employee has to hear it run as well as check out the weed eater itself. I was signing my pawn slip at about 2 minutes before they locked the doors. I was handled promptly and efficiently by the employee, and I wasn't rushed out the door. They make you feel appreciated, so take your business to Bayou Pawn in Hammond! They take care of their customers.

i visited bayou pawn a few days ago and i had a girl named Heaven help me. i had never been to a pawn shop before so i had no idea what i was really doing but Heaven was SO helpful, kind, patient and so friendly. she had the best customer service i have ever experienced and she was so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! also the shop itself was really cool and i took my time looking around at everything. also any questions i had, heaven was so sweet to answer any and all of them so professionally. i give this place a 15 out of 10 simply on the customer service alone! i highly recommend bayou pawn for anyone looking for a local pawn shop to buy from or pawn stuff at! and hopefully you get Heaven when you go because she was downright incredible.

Madison helped me out a bunch with my watches! Come in and see her! She was quick putting In batteries and left the pins out so they wouldn’t be using battery until I needed them. And battery replacement is on $5. Great service.
