Don’t go here. No matter your level of pain. Drive the 40 minutes to Springfield. Absolute waste of time. Came in at 2am. Told them my pain was at a 10. They gave me antibiotic ear drops and told me to take Tylenol. When trying to communicate that I’d been in progressively worse pain for 3 days and I was in agony that the Tylenol wasn’t touching, the nurse said, “we’ve given you antibiotics for an infection you don’t even present as having. What else do you want us to do?” It was then that I realized I was not going to be helped. Crazy that a doctor would give a diagnosis they know is incorrect just to get you to leave!

If it was possible to give a zero I would! I came in to be seen for a possible drug overdose and the triage nurse literally laughed at me and told me to wait in the waiting room…..4 hours later I’m in a room…..an hour after that the doctor acknowledges I’m in the room and then the doctor and the staff then proceeded to joke about why I was in right in front of me (as if I wasn’t embarrassed enough) and then heard the nurse’s making jokes and actually watched them mock me at the nurses station then comes in the room and says there’s really nothing we can do (which makes me question why they made me wait 4 hours to hear that) On top of all that wonderful example of a night the room I was in was filthy with mud clumps all over the floor and blood on the walls..next time I think the better option to drive ANYWHERE else. How they aren’t dealing with lawsuits is completely shocking!

They were very kind and helpful. And FNP-C Esther had great bedside manner and a very good point, I did ask for the stitches. And she did a very good job! 😊 🌟

Excellent care fast friendly nurses. Dr. Walters was Excellent asked questions about my condition. Was not in a hurry and listen to me. He treated me like a person not a number.

Ambulance crew was wonderful, CNA was good could use a little more training but very nice. Doctor was good, Nurse was ok had a few issue's with how you change a 87 year old man. When you find they had a accident they need cleaned or let the nurse know.

I have been working with this amazing staff for two years now but have worked in emergency medicine for over two decades. What an awesome group of caring professionals. Emergency medicine is an emotionally and sometimes even physically challenging career (missed more meals than you can imagine and I won’t trouble you with the emotional stressors). I can certainly say this small community hospital emergency department rises to the challenge. It serves such a vital role in this community and I’m proud to lend my expertise to this awesome team.

Worst hospital ever! BOLIVAR CMH Emergency. Loud, slamming doors, doors open so you hear personal information. Ridiculous! Not to mention that they placed an 81 yr old with dementia and alzheimers on a bed in the hallway of the ER! She was brought in with possible stroke, they decided it was bells palsy. Dr said they would put a patch on her eye to help keep it closed. They put a small piece of gaze on it with tape. Never closed the eye. He said they would get eye drops to put into her eye never got that either. After she was so upset, crying and shaking more uncontrollable, AFTER I told them we were leaving, THEN she was offered a room. They had been admitteding people right and left. Made her lay in the hallway. THEN they offered her a room. Sickening how they treated her.

Emergency Room Esther Trammel - NP was amazing with our daughter who came in with a head injury. Prompt and quick and answered all questioned before being discharged. Krista Elder - RN who dealt closely with our daughter. Our daughter was not happy with her injury or being there and Krista made it the best we could ask for during the situation. These two, along with many another techs, nurses, etc, were great and took such good care of us during our visit.

I had an inflamed hernia and was treated at CMH in the ED by Dr. Jordan Gibson and team. The treatment and care was excellent. Thank you so much to the hospital for being there when I needed it.

Took my daughter who was having issues with her bowels and blood was everywhere sorry to be graphic, but we sat in the waiting room for 2 hours my daughter still bleeding and I left and rushed her to mercy hospital in Springfield and I’m glad I did she was rushed to surgery! I definitely would not recommend anyone going to this hospital. They definitely need to investigate internally the staff I have never experienced anything like this before in my life. I literally typing this while my daughter is in surgery with tears in my eyes.

😠 I sat there worried about my unborn baby for over 2 hours and I was getting really worried. This staff named John was so rude. I told him I needed food because of my unborn baby since I didn't get to eat all day and he blew me off. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. The only three people...
