I wish I could choose zero stars. This office values their time far beyond the health, welfare, and convenience of their patients. Appointment #1: We called 10 minutes prior to the appointment to let them know we were held up due to traffic and would be a few minutes late. They said, "no problem as long as it's no more than 15 minutes." We got there exactly 14 minutes late and were notified the appointment had been canceled. Appointment #2: We rescheduled the above appointment. My daughter ended up in hospital on the day of the appointment, so we called and canceled the appointment. "No problem," they said, and we rescheduled for 1/27/20 at 3:00 pm. On 1/27/20 at 2:56 pm, I received a certified letter from Dr. Acevedo letting us know "due to multiple canceled and missed appointments... I can no longer provide medical care to you." My wife and daughter were, obviously, already at the office discovering the receptionist had no record of their appointment because it had been canceled by the office without notifying us (other than mailing out this letter four days prior.) We canceled ONE appointment BECAUSE OF AN UNEXPECTED HOSPITAL STAY, and wasted our time and gas going to TWO separate appointments wherein the office refused to see us. Absolutely unconscionable behavior for medical professionals, and based wholly on the value they place on THEIR time. Obviously, though, their patients' time -- not to mention health -- are of no concern at all. Don't support them. There are plenty of other doctors nearby who deserve your money and respect.

Dr Foushee & Acevedo PHC team have been taking care of my family and I for 20 + years. Both Providers and NP's are very professional, thorough, and truly have a desire to see their patients health well. The staff is well organized and does a great job keeping their patients informed and appointments flowing. Many thank yous for all the hard work team.

I was a patient with Dr Fooshee for 10 years. Unfortunately now he is retired and was replaced by Dr. Acevedo. She discontinued my medication and overall care plan that has worked great for 6 years with Dr Fooshee. She said she “has to establish a relationship with me” before continuing anything. Absolutely terrible. She seems rude and stuck up. She might be great with the older patients (60+) but if you’re 45 or younger don’t go to Dr Acevedo - too close minded.

The staff, PA’s and doctors make an outstanding medical team. My family and I receive excellent medical care from this office. Everyone, regardless of position, is caring, well-informed, and courteous. They do not waste your time.

I won't be going back.The entire experience was overwhelming causing my anxiety to go through the roof. First, I was bombarded with several appointments (some I had to schedule myself) with the most important appointment having a 2 month wait, only to have them want to reschedule me a week before the appointment. Then, all the hidden fees started rolling into my insurance company. Three hundred dollars for her to LOOK at my mamogram results. None of these fees were discussed prior. I appreciate how thorough she is, but this office not discussing affordability is a huge problem.

Called this practice on 2/14/23 to establish PCP with Dinah Anukwuem, FNPC. "Tina" answered the phone who sounded "Lethargic". Tina attempted to confirm my Medical record profile with Piedmont Healthcare. The INFORMATION she stated was WRONG. I explained to her and Melissa Hanes - Piedmont Healthcare Director of Quality & Operations that a PREVIOUS Dr. I had seen Should not be on my profile or the Medication she In -Appropriately Prescribed that I NEVER ingested or picked up at the Pharmacy. I had told the Previous Dr.'s office who Should have Updated my profile but they Didn't. "Janelle" the office person hears my Explanation, Determines/Decides and then say's "You are not a Good Fit for this Office and I am refusing you Care". - If a person calls a Piedmont Healthcare Medical Office and the person confirming Medical Information is Stating something WRONG and that person Explains how it is Wrong - they Refuse you Care. If a Medical Profile is Wrong - Correct IT. If you are reading this and have a "Patient Portal" with Piedmont Healthcare - CHECK IT...

I have been a patient of Dr. Foushee's for 8 years. The staff at this practice are always kind, caring, and accomadating. I feel that I have had the best care with them. I would highly recommend them as primary health care providers.

I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Tania Acevado. She is a very caring Doctor. I would highly recommend her as a doctor. She is very good.

Dr. Acevedo and her staff are the best medical team ever!! Every time I visit her office I experience excellent care, the team goes above and beyond making sure that I am comfortable, that all my medical concerns are address and all my question are answer in professional way and will care. Dr. Acevedo has an exceptional group of medical employees that really show that they care for the well been of their patience and are compromise with their profession. I will recommend everyone to visit Dr. Acevedo medical practice if are searching for committed, dedicated and excellent medical care.

I love the way I am cared for! Dr Acevado has treated me for many illnesses and I have not one complaint. The office staff and MSAs are very helpful and personable. I have nothing but praises for this practice. Wish all medical offices worked this well together
