For a small town, this library is SO wonderful. It's really the best for the kids as there is a huge children's area and the art on the wall is so bright and colorful. I love taking my kids to spend a couple hours playing at the library. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful library in our small town! Update: we have been visiting this library for a couple years now and honestly feel like the community has no clue what an amazing resource this place is. Check their event calendar on their website- they have the most amazing programming for kids. Sometimes I feel like I get more excited than my kids, but I also trust that these experiences and memories they make at the library will benefit them for years to come. They do the most fun interactive events for kids for each holiday, have an AMAZING summer program, and always have fun activities and crafts for the kids available. If you’re looking for a contained space for your kiddos to explore and learn and play, this is the most wonderful place!

I have participated in a free senior stretch program there and it was wonderful. The building is environmentally friendly and the staff welcoming.

If you are local and haven't visited this library, you need to! I have two toddlers and they love coming here. The children's area of the library has several educational toys, puzzles and even a super market area for the children to play. My children's favorite part is the fairy garden. They played upon arrival then wanted to play again after checking out our library books 😊

Delmont Library has a rich history of serving the community since its founding. The current building, opened in January, 2021, takes its service capabilities to a new level. A bright, cheerful collections area provides space for quiet family play, book browsing, and relaxing with a current magazine. Public computers, free WiFi, and printing (for a fee) bridge the technology gap for anyone who doesn't have access to the internet at home. A large meeting room and developing outdoor spaces offer attractive program opportunities. The library is also a model of sustainability, with solar collectors on the roof, geothermal wells providing heat, and a cistern storing rainwater for outdoor use. A helpful, caring staff and a cadre of talented, dedicated volunteers make this little library a local treasure.

Delmont Library has the most wonderful staff. Always willing to stop and help any one who comes in. Very friendly and always courteous. They also have great programs for all ages especially their summer reading for kids. This year they’re expanding their outdoor learning center. The yearly butterfly release will have a beautiful area for everyone to enjoy.

BEST children's area. Whether its a rainy day, a hot day, or just a day you need a change of pace, the variety of building and creating toys is fabulous. On our most recent trip, my daughter's favorite was the create-your-own treehouse toys. Great book selection and if they don't have it, you can interlibrary loan and pick it up impressively quickly.
