Easy to find right outside of Berlin, this perfect little quilt store that offers a lot of services and expertise in all areas of quilting/sewing/and embroidery. The classes that are taught are first rate and you always get the help you need to be successful and have a stunning creation. I highly recommend them for all your needs and be sure to take a class or two, because there is always something new and fun going on here!

I first went to Chestnut Ridge over the summer when my sewing machine gave up the ghost in the middle of my daughter's 4-H quilting project. Kari was amazing and helped us select the perfect new Bernina machine for us. I stopped in during their anniversary sale to pick up a few accessories and was again greeted with excellent customer care. Most recently, I shopped during their Black Friday event. I went in specifically to take advantage of the 25% off Bernina accessories as I wanted to pick up the BSR and to pick up some material for the backing of my current quilt project. Kathy greeted me from the cutting table and was absolutely phenomenal through my entire time at the store today. I have been so pleased with each of my trips to the store. The customer service has been exceptional. I highly recommend Chestnut Ridge.

I highly recommend the classes at Chestnut Ridge. They have been fun as well as great projects. The store is full service, including sewing machine sales and service. Dawn, Mike and staff work hard to bring the latest in sewing products, notions and fabric. I love the large staff. There’s always someone knowledgeable and available to help me. I don’t have to go hunting someone.

Even though it is a drive from Columbus I enjoy shopping here for my machine and supplies. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable and the selection is good.

I was told that Chestnut Ridge Sewing could service my old Featherweight machine. So I took it to them. I was very impressed when I walked into their store for the first time. Wow! What a slick operation. So professional. Every make and model of Bernina machines on display, new and refurbished, lots of patterns, fabrics and unique tools and items that you don't find anywhere else, samples of hand sewn articles, a display area where they sell handmade sewing tables, a beautiful room for classes....and the area where they service the machines was absolutely top notch! They gave me a time frame when my machine would be done and a rough estimate of the cost. I couldn't believe the reasonable price when they said it would be half of the original estimate. And they finished servicing my machine a week or two earlier than the time frame they gave. I will definitely be back when I need more service; and of course, I will recommend them to anyone who sews. THANK YOU CHESTNUT RIDGE!

I am very satisfied with the service I received. They were very prompt and reasonable in their pricing. I purchased a sewing cabinet from them and found the workmanship to be so much better than other advertised cabinets and much better made. They repaired my mother's 50 some year old Bernina machine. I can not say enough good things about this store. I will not go anywhere else for future sewing products.

I love Chestnut Ridge Sewing. The people are so nice and very cooperative. I wish I had a place like this in my town of Palm Bay Florida. I make sure to schedule a few classes when I’m in town with my relatives. We have such a good time at the classes and it’s so much fun to shop there. Dawn, you’re the best. Warning: Don’t take classes at this store! My mom and I were visiting this store and we could hear a women yelling once we walked just inside. We walked further into the store we could hear a woman yelling “I don’t know why anyone would come to a class without reading the directions first!”. Then she was hotly barking out directions! Later that evening we were having dinner and the same lady teaching the class with some of the staff we saw were also having dinner. The same woman teaching the class was making fun of students over dinner. The only class scheduled had Claudia Dinnell as the teacher, I don’t know if it was her for sure but just shocked at things heard.

Recently, I broke a needle in my 880 and couldn't get the shaft of the needle out. My husband and I drove about 2 hours to Chestnut Ridge Sewing. I expected to leave my machine and come back in a few weeks to pick it up. Instead, Mike fixed the problem right there and then! We were so happy! This is just one of the many reasons that Chestnut Ridge is a super Bernina dealer! Top-notch products and service are great, but it's the staff that make it wonderful!
