Great place and wonderful host! I wish I could have stayed here for a few more weeks. It's total privacy and your backyard is a massive and expansive view. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We left a lot of garbage during the 7 day stay, and the host was very nice about it and accommodating.

Amazing spot with a great location for climbing in Red River Gorge. When we arrived the fire/heater was already going and the tent was super cozy. I wasn't sure how it would be on the cold weather but it super nice. Really lovely space, cool view from the balcony.

My wife and I stayed in the cabin overnight and it was fantastic! Everything we needed was there. The cabin was just enough rustic but had all the comforts we were looking for PLUS THE VIEW! The trails on property were really nice and the glamping tents were so cool! We are going back to stay in the tents as well. You can tell the people running this place REALLY care about you and your experience.

Phenomenal family-owned experience in a stunning location! We spent our anniversary weekend there in the Spring and have visited several more times this year. We've stayed in a different tent each time and have loved every one of them. We still have others to check off the box!! Highly recommend!

I love this place. I live in Cincinnati, so it's a great getaway for a weekend trip. The tents are very spacious and I found the bed very comfortable. I used to camp frequently, when I lived on the West Coast but with the job/kids, etc. I really don't have brain space to keep up with the gear. This is such a wonderful way to get out into nature and not worry about the logistics. I do bring a small camp stove, morning coffee on the deck is my happy place, but there are good restaurants nearby if I am don't have the mojo for cooking. Tons of trails and things to explore; my kids and I have plenty to do. We had a multi-family getaway here that was special. Cooking together in the central camp kitchen was super fun.

I stayed here 2 years ago, had a great time then and a great time this weekend. The improvements are amazing. I appreciate all the extras they have now and so impressed with the new places to stay. I plan to bring another group of friends in the near future. Great place to get out of the city and relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Visited in May. Exceptional views! The bathrooms were very clean and well appointed. The tents are stylishly decorated. Mattress was very comfortable. Tent was in like-new condition. Sitting on the porch overlooking the views provides a wonderful opportunity for connection with God in all the majesty. Beautiful natural setting! Staring at a unobstructed view, things feel very peaceful. The people who run this have a high attention to detail and are very thoughtful. Highly recommend!

Dappled Light was a mystic experience during my stay, I thoroughly enjoyed every facet of the property. From the comfortable rustic tents and cabins to the fully submerged nature exploration experiences. I felt like a child again! I highly recommend anyone to personally experience it and the surrounding nature sceneries with your closest friends and families. It will feel like a Time Machine have brought back childhood again! Be blessed!!!
