Love this place it encourages me when I head to church. I wanted to put the farmers name in for the Culver's farmer reward but I don't know the owner. I definitely want you to get it. Stay encouraged and continue to bless others

I LOVE THIS PLACE. They have fresh produce and flowers for your home. There was a great sale today on flats. I bought a spider plant for my classroom.

This is a great farm for getting flowers, plants, herbs and veggies, pumpkins, corn, and more! Employees are always very friendly, and the greenhouse always looks beautiful. There is a stand at the farm, and Smits also has farm stands at various markets in Chicago.

I shopped at the Daley Plaza farmers market in October , the produce was of good quality & they were the only vendor with string beans that day which I purchased. Also pleasant customer service. I then noticed the beautiful, lush, large , colorful pots of Chrysanthemums at a excellent price. Though I didn't buy I will keep this in mind as a flower source for my landscaping projects next year.

I found myself pleasantly surprised when I visited the store. The location is kinda out of the way. I found it while lost looking for another place. I was looking for a vegetable plant for my garden. I'd been to all of major big box stores and no one had. Additionally, the selection they offered reminded of the end of the season when the hired help becomes lackadaisical and all of the plants are wilted and just about dead.and they still wanted fill price for them. I was saw the nursery and decided to call and see if they had what I was looking for. They did, but I'd just missed the closing. So, I went back the next day. I have to admit that when I walked in the door I was expecting the let down I'd experienced so many times earlier this season. Man, was I surprised. They had the plants that I was looking for in addition to a copious amount of other plants. And, they were all healthy. I ended up buying more than I expected to. Now I have to figure out where to plant them. What a nice quandary to be in. The staff members were pleasant and helpful without being pushy. For lack of a better phrase, I'll call it county warmth and charm. Next year, I won't waste time, energy and gas running around. I know where to go. It's a true farm nursery. There wasn't a really wide selection of other things, but who cares? It's a satisfying feeling when your garden has turned out the way you envisioned it. Thanks, Smith Farm.

I purchased flowers for my garden today. It was hard to choose between colors, all so healthy and vibrant. Wonderful selections in annuals. Moderately priced

A friendly place where you can find fresh vegetables and a variety of flowers and plants. This is a family run farm. Everybody you meet will you greet you with a smile. There is a fresh fruit and vegetable farm stand where you can go and pick from a vast array or you can go into one of the many greenhouses to find the most popular plants and flowers and a selection of beautiful ones that you may not have ever seen before. Lastly you can put on your farmer boots and gloves and head out into the fields and pick your own vegetables and herbs. Everything from corn to tomatoes, squash and all types of peppers. You might find broccoli and cauliflower, onions, lavender, thyme, green beans, collard greens, mustard and turnip greens, beets and even kale! It's a fun place to take the kids. The prices are in line with what you would expect for fresh produce. Head on over to Smit's farm, it's worth the trip.
