I had one of the best outdoor experiences of my life out there with Shawn as our guide. Me and my girlfriend’s mutual friend suggested that we book a climb at this place, and I, having had exactly 0 experience climbing outdoors agreed, thinking we’re gonna be doing single pitch sport climbing with a guide! It turned out to be multi-pitch trad. I can say confidently that it was the most exciting and fun outdoor adventure that I’ve ever had. Aside from MAYBE skydiving, nothing comes even close. The scenery was breathtaking. Our guide, Shawn, was very knowledgeable about climbing and outdoors in general. The routes that he chose for us was great for our skill level. He was also very thorough in explaining some of the techniques he used to guide us through the experience. 10/10 would recommend, 10/10 will come back.

Fantastic day of rock climbing with Seneca Rocks Climbing School! Instructor Daniel was great and really knew his stuff, was fun, and led us through a few different pitch options to the summit. We always felt safe and learned much about solid climbing techniques as well. My son and I had a blast and would highly recommend you give them a try.

I just had an excellent day of climbing with Seneca Rocks Climbing School. The guides and staff at the shop were excellent; they were informative, and knowledgeable. The climbing was really great -- there are a ton of different routes for all skill levels. The 360 view from the summit was really awesome and a great pinnacle for the day. I'd recommend the climbing school to others and will climb with them again in the future.

We had an amazing experience with our guide, Garry Blevins, at Seneca Rocks Climbing School! My wife and I did the two-day Gym to Crag course. We went into the course with gym and mostly bouldering experience and left feeling confident in seconding multi-pitch climbs. Gary was extremely informative and patient with us, he happily fielded all our newbie questions and built a relationship with us. He made us feel safe throughout the whole experience while instilling confidence. I would highly recommend Seneca Rocks Climbing School, and Gary to anyone interested in elevating your climbing knowledge! We will definitely back for the more advanced courses!

We had a blast. Ken was our instructor and he was great. He always emphasized safety but didn't treat us like the amateurs that we were. The private instructor option was great because he tailored the day to us and it made it even more special of a day for my son and me.

Most unforgettable climbing experience of my life. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and very flexible for us with the unpredictable weather. With their focus on safety, I never felt in danger even when 800 feet in the air on top of the mountain. Worth every penny! I will definitely hire them again when I return to Seneca.

Great day out with the Climbing School! We were originally schedule to climb Seneca Rocks Mountain Guides; however, our guide was injured just before our outing and we were connected with the Climbing School. After being rained out on Saturday, we were starting to feel like our trip was marred by a dark star. The folks at the Climbing School were amazing. They found a way to adjust their schedule and take us out on Sunday instead. Our guide, Jack, led us with skill and care to the summit, teaching us valuable trad skills along the way. My wife and I are new to multipitch climbing, which increases the exposure over single pitch sport climbing. Jack's ability to sense our nerves and coach us through the experience was top notch. I am sure to come back for one of their training courses to further my skills!!

I highly recommend this climbing school. I was nervous about my first climbing experience, but our guide Tom made me feel comfortable and safe. He was extremely knowledgeable, nice and understanding of how a first timer feels. He slowed everything down enough for you to comprehend what you need to know, without making you feel overwhelmed. He went out of his way before, durning and after our course to make sure my brother and I had the best weekend at Seneca.

It was my first time doing any traditional outdoor rock climbing and my guide was excellent! The orientation/technical safety training was clear, concise, and allowed us to get an early start on the rocks. My guide picked routes that challenged me thoroughly and allowed me to really get a feeling for what climbing at Seneca has to offer. I had a blast and will definitely be back!
