We booked a 2-hour private kayak tour for the final day of our two week vacation and it was easily THE BEST nature experience we had all trip! The Salmon River is incredibly beautiful and full of wildlife. Tony was an excellent guide. We felt very very safe at all times. Don't miss out on this experience!

Been coming to this shop since I was a little guy in the late late 80s when they opened. Fantastic shop! Tony the shop owner is very kind and helpful! Recently got lessons from Kendall, Josh, and Chase... all three were wonderful and patient with great tips! I've had surf lessons before and these guys did a wonderful job at giving the pointers that really added up to a great experience! If I could give 6 stars I would! This team really works hard to make sure you have a great time! I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to learn to surf! Thank you Safari Town! I will be back again soon!

We took the kayak trip with Kevin, and it was great. So beautiful. Kevin is a great guide and very cool dude. He was super knowledgeable about the wildlife and the history of the area. Just a great two hour tour.

We had an amazing time on our Salmon River Private Kayak tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable which allowed us to learn a ton about the area. We saw a Bald Eagle, seals, multiple different birds, and various fish and crab in the water. The surrounding scenery was also stunning. This is a must do!

We had an awesome time kayaking and would definitely do it again! Amazing location to kayak, we went on the 4th of july and we were basically the only ones on the river! Saw jellyfish, seals, and bald eagles! Great experience

Safari Town Surf Shop is great! We signed up for surf lessons and by halfway through were surfing even though it was our first time. Our instructor was super nice and knowledgeable. If you've thought about it, I say go for it. The shop also has tons of cool surf gear.

Great place for surf lessons! We did ours with Chase. He’s was encouraging and fun to be with. We are hooked now! Went back to the shop and Tony gave us a lot of great information to help get us started with our first surfing purchases! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for lessons, gear, and information.

We did the Salmon River kayak tour and it was AWESOME! We are total amateurs and Tony was super knowledgeable and patient. We felt safe and had alot of fun!! It was a beautiful day in an amazing setting and we will never forget it. Thinking of getting a kayak now too...

Finally got my hubby out on my beloved Salmon River! We are out there often, as it’s one of my favorite places to take pictures. From the reservation process through the return of the kayaks, Safari Town made it easy for us “locals” to get out on the water together. Highly recommend them for beginner paddlers.
