Blue Dog Dance is Fabulous! Barbara is an excellent Dance Teacher & Studio Trainer. She flew to California to train our dance staff and captured all of our hearts. We look forward to having her return again next year!

Blue Dog has been an integral part of our kids lives for the last 5 years. Before, during, and after the pandemic, the teachers and staff have created an incredible community that makes our kids feel important and celebrated. They also learn strength, coordination, teamwork, and confidence. Thanks to all the teachers my kids have had, including Kyra, Tori, Kaela, Willow, and Ashlynn!

Blue Dog Dance has been a fantastic experience for my daughter. After dancing with another school for years, my daughter dropped out at age 10 due to stress. Seeing that she missed it, we gave Blue Dog a try. Even though a two year gap occurred, the teachers at Blue Dog were encouraging and positive. This positive environment led to a more confident and well-balanced teen. We couldn’t be happier with Barbara and her team! Even with the pandemic, Blue Dog kept the show going! Excellent job using creativity to conquer tough times.

My daughter loves Ms. Willow! She switched classes and was nervous about doing ballet mid-way through the year, but she is so excited to go now. Thank you for being such a great teacher!

We love Bluedog! I’ve been taking my daughter since she was 3 in the Creative Dance class and it’s helped her learn confidence and independence! Ms Kaela is great!

I heard about Blue Dog Dance through a former prenatal water aerobics classmate, and since mom communities have a wealth of knowledge and advice, we decided to give Blue Dog a try! Our daughter LOVES it! Starting out in the young creative dance class with Ms. Kayla has increased not only her knowledge of classical ballet moves, but also her comfortability and confidence in being in group settings and around new people (something we worried about coming out of the Covid era)! She’s participated in two of the dance studio’s elaborate dance productions during Christmastime and in the Spring and has become quite the little performance pro: from delicate costumes to on-stage bowing for a full audience. Blue Dog Dance’s staff including Ms. Kayla, Ms. Barbara, Ms. Tiffany and others are wonderful with children and extremely communicative and helpful! It took a couple weeks in the beginning, but I even appreciate that the parents can’t watch classes unless it’s “watch week” because I know the children learn better without the distraction of Mom or Dad in the room. We can’t wait for the end of the season recital coming up and beginning tap next year! Thank you BDD, our family loves you!

My son Alex and I started at Blue Dog Dance before he could crawl, but our teacher Ms.Tori always made sure to find ways to include him. He’s closer to running now and is always excited to head into class. His “dancing” in class and at home has been a joy to watch. Ms.Tori is not only kind, but patient with all the kids in class and that can’t always be easy with toddlers! Although Alex is young, I’ve seen him blossom into a more confident toddler since starting dance and look forward to watching him continue his dance journey at Blue Dog Dance. My daughter has done hip hop at Blue Dog Dance for 5 years and has loved it there. They are easy to work with and put on great recitals and special events. Most of her classes have been with Miss Kyra, who is so talented, patient, and helpful to the kids. It has been a great experience all around!

Blue Dog Dance is wonderful! We have loved all of our teachers, staff, and owners there through the years, and this year is no exception. I am especially appreciative of Mikalah at the front desk on Monday afternoons/evenings. As life goes, I am often running late or need to pick up early, and she is reliably very patient, responsive, and makes sure my young dancer is taken care of and happy. She always has a smile on her face, and it makes me feel at ease when I see her and know it's all going to be ok! We appreciate Blue Dog for bringing the joy of dance in to our lives!

My daughter LOVES being a part of the Blue Dog Dance family. She's been going since she was in Pre-K and is now finishing up her first year of In Motion (Middle School performing group). She's gained so much beyond dance and performance skills, building confidence and poise, and a great circle of friends. I appreciate the focus on the joy of dance and the fun of it all. No pressure! The teachers and staff really care about each student. And, I love the performances! The recitals and other shows are always so well done and the skill of the dancers is just amazing. I've seen Polar Express, the Christmas show they do annually, A LOT (no really....so many times!!) but I enjoy watching it every single time. All of the teachers she's had are incredible: Kyra, Willow, Ashlynn, Kaela, Barbara, Tori and Susan.
