Ecstatic that they opened here PEEKSKILL. As I’ve visited this franchise before at two other locations, both Ossining and Mamaroneck White Plains. I’ve eaten here at the Peekskill location least 6 times. Four times was a great experience fresh food. I had one negative experience out of the six times and that was the ceviche was not fresh and smelled spoiled. Other times I never had a problem with the ceviche and it’s usually great. It was just that one time. Upon complaining however, I was NOT offered a refund. Person said that they would let the cook know.

I loved the food but the costumer service is the worst. The female waitress had a nasty attitude and she was rude with my mom.

The food is good the service not. The waiter just came take a order and never come back after served the food. Need to look for him to have the check.He was talking to another server mind his business instead of serve the business. Next time maybe next time order to pickup.

Did take out and ordered ceviche de pescado with 2 quarts of chicha morada. Very flavorful and the lady taking our order was super nice! Food is fantastic, will definitely return again

I've tried twice to order food for lunch here, but they don't want my money. First instance they'd run out of both chicken and rice (bummer) and second time the woman was rude and wouldn't help me with my limited Spanish comprehension. I'm okay with them not wanting to help I guess, but then why is the menu printed in English? I'd been wary since the cheap sign on the outside and poorly designed website portends an uncaring business and it appears that this book can indeed be judged by its cover. Aji Limo in Ossining is great and nearby if you're looking for Peruvian in the area.

Never left a review on a restaurant before but I have to say this place has great potential, the food is delicious and cooked with love but the service is ridiculously bad. Me and my family went out to eat with 6 people and the server who was a female basically tossed our menus and utensils in the middle of the table , didn't care to change her attitude when talking to customers and didn't check up on us once she gave us the food. Today we ordered takeout and it was good but they had forgotten to give us another part of our meal so we had to drive back to pick it up so if you get food from here I suggest you order takeout and double check the bag before you leave. But again the food is great!

If I could give this place, zero stars, I would. The steak tasted nasty, the fried plantains were raw, and fried rice was hard as if they reheated it. Customer service is horrible. This explains why this place is always empty

Good food but very lousy service. I placed an order, and when I called to asked when my order would be delivered, the worker on the phone said it was already delivered. Then she blamed all on me, she said the delivery guau called me many times but I never picked up the phone. Guess what they had a wrong number!!!! When I asked her to please change my number, she said she couldn’t “because that is the number they have in the system”!!!! She didn’t take responsibility for anything. On top of all, when I asked to re-deliver my order, she said it was not posible, and that to get a refund, I had to cancel my order. In the past few months I had 3 deliveries from this place, and they called me at my current phone # without any problem. Good luck to anyone who deal with this La Gladis restaurant. 🤔

Overly priced food. That misses the mark on authentic Peruvian food. Go to Port Chester if you want real Peruvian food. Service is atrocious, I see the reviews here of one female server and it must be the same I delt with. Horrible attitude, extremely rude. Why the restaurant even still employs her is beyond me. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. This place is not worth your money and time.
