Not
being
familiar
with
the
menu,
we
decided
to
place
a
takeout
order
for
the
"Polish
Feast
for
2"
which
provided
a
sampling
of
a
number
of
their
dishes.
A
nice
surprise
was
that
the
restaurant
placed
the
two
portions
on
two
separate
plastic-covered,
divided
plates.
A
small
container
of
horseradish
cream
sauce
was
included.
I'm
not
sure
what
it's
intended
purpose
was,
but
it
served
as
a
wonderful
condiment
for
the
potato
pierogies.
The
hunters
stew
was
also
very
good,
although
the
promised
toast
was
missing.
The
stuffed
cabbage,
however,
was
a
disappointment.
It
had
very
little
tomato
sauce
and
the
rice
and
ground
beef
filling
seemed
to
be
absolutely
devoid
of
salt.
When
I
added
some
ketchup
(probably
a
travesty)
and
lots
of
salt,
it
perked
up
quite
a
bit.
The
amount
of
each
component
of
the
dinner
was
generous,
except
I
would
have
enjoyed
a
little
more
kielbasa
and
sauerkraut.
Next
time,
I'll
probably
order
the
kielbasa
dinner.
Overall,
getting
one
of
their
"Feasts"
(they
also
offer
one
for
4)
is
a
great
way
to
be
introduced
to
a
number
of
their
dishes.
