We’ve been taking Azalea to WAH since we got Azalea at 9 weeks old. Azalea will be 1 on Thursday and she LOVES going to the vet. Over Christmas Azalea got her first heat cycle and was super lethargic and they helped come up with new ideas to help and also checked in on us a few days later! We love Westport Animal Hospital ❤️ Thank you for always being so helpful!!

My experience was very pleasant here. They treated me and my little Bella very well and the doctor was very attentive examining her. The doctor answered all my questions nicely. Overall I would definitely recommend.

Dr Sam and his staff has been taking care of our cat Missy for several years, and more recently our dog Freddie. Along with being extremely knowledgeable, Dr Sam is a caring and compassionate person who truly cares about our furry friends. He takes the time to explain clearly and answer questions. The staff are also friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I feel confident that my beloved pets are getting excellent care at Westport Animal Hospital.

I have been taking my dogs to this vet for years , I find Dr sam to be truly compassionate and extremely knowledgable. He goes the extra step and responds to questions on his personal cell when theres an emergen cy...he truly cares. Also his prices are fair for this area, def recommend !

We've brought our last 2 dogs to Dr Sam and found the practice to be professional, reliable and knowledgeable. They usually run on time and don't leave you waiting past your appointment time to see the vet.They are priced reasonably and all the staff really cares about your pet. I would highly recommend them

I have been a dog or a cat owner for more than fifty years. I have been taking my animals to Westport Animal Hospital for more than 20 years. During the last 10 years, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were frequent patients of Dr. Sam’s. Unfortunately, one dog suffered from mitral valve disease, and the other dog’s kidneys began to fail as she aged. I cannot speak highly enough of the care that my dogs were given. Both dogs lived past their 14th birthdays before they finally succumbed to their illnesses. But, I firmly believe that during their lives, each dog received the best medical care possible. When it was finally time to let go of each dog, the compassion and caring I received were beyond anything I could have hoped for from a Vet and his staff. There is no question that Dr. Sam and his staff helped me through the process of grieving for my beloved dogs. I realize it is strange to write a positive review about a dog dying, but dogs succumb to their illnesses. The point of my review is that my dogs spent a lifetime being cared for by Westport Animal Hospital, Dr. Sam, and his staff. My dogs lived long and happy lives, even with medical ailments that have caused other dogs to die at a young age. I attribute the long lives my dogs lived to the exemplary care they received from Dr. Sam and his staff and will never be able to thank them enough. To anyone selecting a veterinarian for their beloved pet, I can say without reservation that Dr. Sam and his office will provide the best care possible for your pet.

Dr. Sam is, without a doubt, the most wonderful vet that I've ever had. The care that he has taken with my dog, Buttercup, is beyond fabulous. He will text you or call you to see how your pet is doing. He, and everyone in his practice, are so sweet to my elderly dog. She had a major issue three years ago when I was in LA on business but he gave me regular updates, knew the right place for her to go for treatment, followed up and was just overall fabulous. Dr. Sam and the entire staff are so compassionate and caring. As a first time dog owner, they have put me at ease so many times during the first few months of having a puppy dealing with allergies. Dr. Sam always responds to texts and is incredibly thoughtful. Both my puppy and I love Westport Animal Hospital! Highly recommend.

We were first time dog owners and scoured Fairfield County for a vet that we were comfortable with. (And this was BEFORE we got our dog) When we met Dr. Sam and the staff at WAH - our search was over. Not only was Dr. Sam kind but he was patient with every single question we had. And when we got our dog Kirby - we were even more impressed (if that was possible) with Dr. Sam and his staff. He put our minds at ease with every little thing about being new pet owners. He made Kirby feel at home and took extra care with every visit. And if I had a question about the simplest of things - Dr. Sam would call me within an hour to talk me through. And he never made me feel like I was bothering him but he was genuine and kind and interested. In my opinion it doesn't get better than Dr. Sam and the staff at Westport Animal Hospital. They are top of the rock!
