Great album shop, plus a bakery too. The gentleman, whom is the owner. Super nice and helpful.

I recently ordered a birthday cake from Toast Records and Bakes, and it exceeded all expectations! The vanilla cake was hands down the best I've ever had - moist, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The frosting was a true standout, not too sweet but incredibly delicious. The attention to detail in the presentation made it not only tasty but also a feast for the eyes. If you want a birthday cake that's both stunning and scrumptious, Toast Records and Bakes is the place to go.

This record store has two things going for it. It has great selection and customer service. My wife purchased a vinyl we already own in July and the shop owner exchanged it for its value in September. On selection, I walked out with a Jimmy Smith and a Black Mike vinyl. I have been to vinyl shops all over the world and this is one of my favorites.

It doesn’t get more adorable among millennials when there’s a one stop shop for adult pop tarts and vinyl records husband/wife small business. The vinyl collection out front is all new materials and really is a well rounded selection of various genre, nicely displayed. AND meanwhile you’re shopping in a bakery so the whole place smells like heaven.

This shop is super cute! We didn't try any of the bakes but they smelled amazing. There is a great selection of vinyl and the owner knows his stock so well, he could tell us if he was out of stock of an artist just off the top of his head. It was a great experience and the vibe of the shop is super chill. Highly recommend stopping in!

Cool Records. Unrelated to everything else, Bought 2 cookies from here for a sad friend. Was also really raining, so when I got to my friend, the rain had soaked through my backpack into the paper bag. When I eventually got the cookies from my inventory, both cookies fell out of the soggy bag, onto the ground leaving me with wet cookie on my bag, and a still sad friend, and then I was sad too.

Wow is the only words I could say while eating the brownie and laminated dough treats… as a baker it’s hard to fully enjoy local spots (because some just aren’t good) but wow. Great selection of records, great warm customer service, and my god these treats are incredible. I could only smell the pies she was baking… but I’d take a bath in one.

Had a wonderful experience in Toast. While the cakes are simply out of the world, the behavior of both Mr. And Mrs. is so very nice. Two days we went to find empty show cases as all are sold out so soon. You must visit as early as possible in the day to have a bite. I would recommend very very highly of this shop if you are a cake lover and visiting Durango👍

Great small business record store with an awesome bakery in the back. Nice selection of high-end reissue jazz that's been mostly grouped in one area for convenient browsing. Blue Note " Tone Poet" and " Classic " series go together!

I was in town for a week and happened by this shop on my walk through downtown Durango. The store was nice, clean, and simple. It was well organized and everything was properly stored etc, etc. Most of all, the guy at the checkout counter was very nice (a good combo of pleasantries, vinyl talk, and letting me poke around peacefully) and even gave me some really cool toast record stickers which I now have proudly displayed on my water bottle. My purchase was great, and my good experience has stuck with me to the point of writing a review (which I never do). Check them out for a good experience :)
