A great place to dine in. Prolly the only Authentic Nepalese 🇳🇵 restaurant in North Dakota that offer a wide range of blveg, non veg and Vegan food options. Coming from Chicago we stopped by for a cup of tea and Aloo parathas. They were really good.

You can tell that the staff enjoy working here and take pride in what they do. As I was ordering, they asked me about spice levels and things like that to be sure I knew what I was in for. They checked in with every table to make sure everything was to their liking. I loved every bite and the fresh naan was some of the best bread I've ever had. The music and decor is the perfect blend and immerses you into the atmosphere without overdoing it. I ended up ordering way too much food, but it makes for good leftovers!

Amazing food! Tried the Sahi Korma, asked for the spice level to be hot it came out the perfect amount of spicy. Friendly staff, loved the music and whole atmosphere of the dining room. Defintly coming back!

DELICIOUS FOOD, TANDOORI CHICKEN IS SO YUMMY‼️ I kid you not, if you are looking to try new foods but don’t want to stray too far from your comfort zone THIS IS THE PLACE!! The atmosphere was so warm and homey, it felt like I was transported to a whole different country. As soon as you walk in, the delicious smell of spices and delicious food just hits you. The customer service was amazing, there was only one employee there when I went, but he made me and my friends feel so welcomed. This is definitely a hidden gem. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD, GREAT ATMOSPHERE!

Ah, the Yak, the birthplace of my Indian food obsession. I’m not sure what first made me try this place. I’d driven past it a hundred times on 25th before really paying attention. Maybe it was the goofy name, or just wanting to try something different, but boy is this place the real deal. In all seriousness, Himalayan Yak has the best Indian/ Nepali food I have ever tried. Their Tikka Masala is especially a superstar, I mean I can’t even make up how darn good it is. At first, I thought it was possibly just because it was the first place I tried- so you know, it’s a honeymoon phase in my mind and nothing will beat my first time trying. But as I’ve been to more and more Indian places I realized it’s not that, it’s just because Yak is straight good. Yak knows how to spice it. Everything I’ve tried just has been amazing- the spice levels are just right where other places mess it up. The Tikka and Rogan Josh are my favorites to date. And they cook their lamb exactly right, it’s so soft and tender and brings tears of joy to my eyes. (I love my Indian food, okay?) Thank you Yak for existing.

We went there for lunch buffet and I should say it was decent. Butter chicken, Naan and Chai was the best. Personally I did not like the yellow rice as it was bland. Ambience was good. Overall it was a nice experience. We would like to go there for dinner to taste their non buffet items.

We had the lunch buffet. It was extremely good!! Maybe a couple more items would be nice, but overall, very tasty food!!! It's definitely worth every dollar. Definitely will be back.

It was first time here for lunch buffet, and it won't be our last! The food was phenomenal, the selection was vast. There wasn't a dish that we didn't like! They took great care in keeping the food fresh. Most importantly, the price was reasonable. We'd recommend the Himalayan Yak to anyone!

Upon walking into the yak you see a sign that says seat yourself. So that’s what I did and I sat there for ten minutes before realizing you just start helping yourself to the buffet without speaking to a waiter beforehand…that’s also because there are no waitstaff. Dishes will pile up on your table and not get cleared away until you leave. The buffet is small but there is a decent variety still albeit lackluster when it comes to flavor. There was only one dish that was seasoned well and it was the Chana Saag everything else was bland except for the special chicken which has an over abundance of tumeric and nothing else. One nice thing though was that they offered hot chai lattes. The mango pudding was great but they ruined it by adding pineapple and grapes to it. The gulab jamun was decent though.

Just like I remembered, loved the old location as it was closer to me but the new location is a lot bigger. Food is super tasty and always fresh. Highly recommend them still.

As someone who grew up around spices and dishes similar to Indian cuisine, I can honestly say that this restaurant has really high quality food. Each dish tastes different and unique to itself which is more than I can say for other Indian Restaurants in Fargo. The meat is really tender as well. Everything is delicious. It would've given it a 5 but the service isn't the best. The guy who is always there does a great job but it seems like he is almost always alone. He does an amazing job but the owners could do a better job with getting help. We spent almost 3 hours there even though we only ate for about 1/2 hour.

Great food!! Clean, welcoming atmosphere. Food was a little slow when we've been there, but the papadam held us over. Quick with beverages. A friend of ours who is from India said it was the most authentic she's had in Fargo.

Went for the lunch buffet and can refill plates and drinks as much as you want. Quite busy, but lots of seating available. Wide variety of Indian food to choose from! Not too spicy at all (catering to Western preferences, I’m sure), but seemed very authentic. The hot chai was the perfect drink to go along with all of the food! Would definitely come back.

Don't get to try Indian food very often (the wife is not very adventurous). But this is some of the best I've ever had. Went for the lunch better, so many delicious choices, so much flavor. And the service was top notch.

Entering the restaurant with a doubt feeling , Fargo with a less Indian & Nepalese population . Ambience in the restaurant is simple and modern . All you can eat are hot and clean , food quality all cooked to perfection . We can't wait to come back again to enjoy the great food

Only Himalayan style buffet in town as far as I'm aware. Good quality food and good service. Wish the chutneys contained fewer dyes, but all in all, a good value for purchase.

Worst Management.. Worst food. Dirty smelly place.. Waited 2 hours for food. They served without bread. Took half hour more to get bread. Never recommend any one to go there. Unhygienic Place ever. Don’t follow the health requirements.

It was very clean, and the food was hot. Some of the food was a little overcooked. It has some of the most basic Indian food, but it is well prepared. The price was very reasonable.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the FM area! The flavor and quality of ingredients are unforgettable. I highly recommend this place to anyone. The Naan bread and lamb are amazing!
