Our
daughter
had
anxiety
about
seeing
the
dentist
that
she
would
faint
while
in
the
chair.
We
found
out
she
needed
several
teeth
to
be
worked
on
and
knew
the
best
thing
would
be
for
her
to
undergo
anesthesia.
The
anesthesia
was
not
something
I
was
feeling
great
about,
however.
I
just
knew
it
was
the
only
way
to
get
my
daughter
a
successful
procedure
without
more
negative
dental
experiences.
Dr.
Reed
was
our
anesthesiologist.
She
communicated
with
us
twice
before
the
procedure
and
answered
all
of
my
questions.
She
made
me
feel
much
more
confident
about
the
anesthesia
component.
At
the
procedure
Dr
Reed
was
a
calming
presence
to
my
very
nervous
daughter
(and
me).
When
my
daughter
was
waking
up
from
the
procedure,
she
was
very
disoriented
(normal)
and
her
vision
took
a
little
while
to
be
clear
as
she
was
waking
up
(normal).
Dr.
Reed
was
available
to
coach
me
“Keep
talking
to
her,
your
voice
will
help
calm
her
and
help
her
to
wake
up.”
Dr.
Reed
communicated
clearly
what
was
to
be
expected
after
the
procedure,
and
followed
up
with
a
text
the
same
evening
after
the
procedure.
She
gave
me
her
number
to
reach
her
if
we
had
any
questions
or
concerns.
Thankfully
we
had
a
great
experience,
and
a
content
kiddo
after
the
anesthesia
wore
off
(she
did
not
like
waking
up).
I
would
highly
recommend
Dr.
Reed
for
pediatric
dental
work
that
need
anesthesia.
