Great food. You will get your belly full at Yummy Japan. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere makes you not want to leave. I would have took some pictures of the food, but I ate it so fast . . .

Super tasty food with a great dining room! It wasn't super busy when I went which was even better. Lots of room, reasonable prices, and the food was fresh and hot!

Love Yummy Japan. The Beckley location is just as yummy as the Princeton one. The owners and staff are super friendly and you really get a great meal for the money.

Good food friendly staff. The inside is so cool. The only bad thing I can think of is it kind of reminded me food court Chinese food with the plastic utilities and styrofoam take out containers. I understand it keeps cost low for customers but I’d like real plates and utilities. Still worth time we liked it ❤️

The sushi was good for the price. Me and my wife did not like the spicy crab roll, it did not have much flavor and was very dry. The salmon and walk rolls are amazing though!! I like the smoothies they are very refreshing. Yummi Japan is definitely a good place to go if you don't want to spend too much money!

This is a great addition to Beckley. They serve great, quality food at fair prices. The portions are large on the combos, but I found if you order the bento boxes you get less food than the other meals. The ginger dressing here does taste different (I didn't like it) than other restaurants in the area. I would recommend this restaurant for a quick meal.

The girl at the register was dressed for the nightlife and wouldn't keep her finger out of her nose playing with her nose ring. She had to be told to take my order instead of checking her phone. Poor presentation of the restaurant. Dress code should be in order.

Needed to get something for dinner on Christmas day. The food was fresh and hot. This is my first time ordering takeout from them and would order again and recommend. Their General Tso's chicken is delicious!

3.8/5 overall When calling the restaurant they were very friendly and took our order quickly even though when we arrived we weren't given an estimate on the completion of the food. The hibachi was the best part, very good steak and chicken with nice sticky dense rice and veggies. The kids chicken nuggets and edamame were also good and a nice dish. The sesame chicken however was not good, tasted like a cheap store brand sauce tossed over the chicken with bland broccoli - definitely not worth the 13$

Food was delicious. Generous portions for the price. Staff was friendly and polite. Restaurant was clean and very pretty.

A lot of people got stuff as takeaway but the atmosphere was great. My only negative is that everything came out styrofoam takeaway containers with plastic utensils. Unlimited yum! Yum sauce!

Food doesn't seem to be as tasty as it used to be. Good portion sizes but the taste and texture if the chicken was diffrent the last time I visited. Hopefully it isn't that fake lab grown meat and they still use real chicken

You'll get to this place and think, "Huh, this is kinda weird," but bite the bullet and go in. Big portions, good (but totally typical) taste, good service, friendly staff. The fried rice is sort of bland but everything else tasted great (but totally typical).

Our first time at Yummi Japan. Food was outstanding, but would have loved to eat on real plates... plasticware was a little difficult. I had the chicken curry and loved it! My husband ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi with fried rice and thought it was great.

Used to be an amazing place to eat and the food was affordable and delicious with a very good selection. Today the food was mediocre and not worth the money especially considering the wait and that a medium drink is quite literally the size of a kids drink from McDonald's. Their lunch selection used to be amazing and now not so much. It is sad to see this place now especially considering how amazing the original owner had this place before. I'll just consider this a learning experience.

i picked up an order tonight and had a very negative experience. first they gave my food to someone else so i had to wait for them to remake my entire order, then once i got him i seen they didn’t give me my second clear soup i paid for, and lastly i ordered two habachi steaks with noodles and my husbands was good but mine was not, it tasted like there was no flavor or sauce on the noodles they were extremely bland as well as the steak, i’m not sure if it’s cause it was remade quickly or what but i’m very disappointed, this was my first time here and i don’t think i will be back.

We got the dynamite roll a side order of noodles and the steak and chicken with rice hibachi and it was the most bland food we've ever had! The noodles had no flavor just like spaghetti noodles w a brown flavorless sauce had to use soy sauce to flavor it. the dynamite roll was decent not really any big complaints other than it needed more flavor I was expecting spicy at least but the Wabasi had more kick to it than the spicy mayo that's on it. The chicken and steak was extremely bland no seasoning at all just stained brown. Wouldn't recommend if you really enjoy flavors. The place was very clean looking and polite workers if the food was more flavourful I'd return but not until then.

My husband and I came from out of state on a snowboarding trip and decided to try our favorite type of food. He ordered a chicken hibachi plate and i ordered a hibachi steak and we shared a shrimp tempura roll. We ate the sushi first before we took pictures.. We are more than satisfied not only from the taste of everything but the amount of food we paid for. The women that took our order was very nice as well.

Took my client and her son here for lunch, great food, but really high priced. Just for me (beef and broccoli, 1 egg roll and a small drink) it was almost $16.00.

I have never left a food review before - but this place was too much of a blessing and too refreshing not too. I'm a plant based eater and this had absolutely everything I wanted from sauces to sides to full entrees. I would've paid three times the amount to eat this food because it was that delicious to me 🙏🏽. The service was perfect and restaurant filled with beautiful Japanese aes·thet·ic to unexpectedly dine in-to. Gratitude..

We ordered a large order from here and had door dash deliver. Great experience with door dash. All of the sushi, sides, and dishes were great except for my wife's teriyaki steak. It was gray, not browned, and really had no teriyaki flavor at all. The vegetables and rice on the dish were fine, but the steak looked like it was steamed.
