My server's name was bug. As soon as I walked in she was very warm, welcoming and helpful. I also got to meet the cook. Her name was Kendall, very upbeat and outgoing. This was my first time to the omelette shop in Beckley West Virginia I had the country boy omelette with sausage gravy wheat toast and hash browns. Everything was old-fashioned and delicious just like the old diners used to make. Thank you or breakfast.

Right on the exit of I 64. Sufficient parking and seatings. Host was really sweet.Tried spanish omlette with ham and hashbrown. Good portion size. Omlette was very soft and tasty. I would put different sauce than spanish sauce on the top of the omlette next time(personal preference). Hasbrown crunchy on the outside and soft and buttery inside, perfect.

Waitress was fantastic. My poached eggs were cooked PERFECTLY... carvemaster ham was salty and smokey... delicious! Waffle had that signature malted taste, and our syrup was heated! The bennie sauce was bright and lemon forward... food completely cooked to order ... only complaint was that I specifically asked to make sure I had enough benedict sauce for every bite, and I was charged for a full side order of sauce. I opted to add the ham and hash browns as a side... but the sauce that already accompanied my meal should not have been a side order charge....

Very busy dining room, yet very quick and attentive service. The coffee was hot, good tasting. Our egg and meat orders came out without much wait and exactly as ordered. The servers gave us appropriate attention and refilled our coffees and waters during our stay. The inside of the restaurant reminded me of my visits to a Waffle House. The cooks were fast and accurate. Servers equally quick, friendly and accurate with the bill. When in Beckley, WV again, will make a return visit! ALERT - When visiting on May 10, 2022 a major construction project was underway directly behind the restaurant. Some of the parking area is torn up and busy with construction vehicles.

Updated 1 star review: So we really enjoyed our first visit and couldn't wait to go back. The staff is always so nice. It was a mistake. It must have been a different cook, but everything was god-aweful. If it wasn't burnt it was underdone. Grits were watery, lumpy and had a chemical-like taste. The pancakes were very thin and burnt. Waffles burnt. French toast? Burnt again. Eggs were extra runny and not done. Wife, kids, and I all disliked our food to the point that we didn't even want to ask for anything else because it was all so terrible. We left hungry and never went back. I also ended up getting sick in the evening and it lasted several days. So you decide. You will have a great or a terrible visit. My original review is below. Original 5 Star Review: Today we tried this spot. It is kind of reminds me of a Waffle House, but maybe cleaner and less dreary. Our server was Katy. She was the sweetest, nicest server you could ask for. She really made our dining experience that much better. We ate waffles, pancakes, French toast, bacon, grits, meat omelet, coffee, etc. Everything was hot and delicious. We will definitely be returning.

All day breakfast place, and their breakfast is very good indeed... Apparently gets very busy on weekends but we were lucky to get a table without much wait and were attended to by one of the nicest old ladies... She helped us with what to order and served us piping hot chocolate with refills... We tried the Meat Lover's Omelette and the Southern Smothered Biscuit Skillet... If you ask me to chose one item, I wouldn't be able to because both were so very good... Very fresh, filling, extremely delicious and of course delightful... If you are ever in Beckley, WV this place is a must try!

This place is my go to! Its open 24 hours and they can literally make anything. I always want something that I can't find on the menu and they accommodating us every time. Friendly staff and we purchased the whole rainbow 🌈 cake for my daughter birthday and got it cheaper than buying it in a store. Love love this place!

The place is always clean, and the waitresses are always polite and nice. Service is above and beyond. Bathrooms are kept clean. Food is always as you order it, very delicious; If you order medium rare steak, that's how it'll be served, tender as can be too!

Emilee H is absolutely wonderful serving us! How attentive and pleasant she was. A kind welcoming personality near the end of our NC-KY bourbon trail trip. Food was fantastic. I recommend the strawberry waffles!

Wow, when I walked into this establishment I thought, “I guess this is just another ordinary 24 hour diner” but BOY WAS I WRONG. I have fallen in love with their food, and the service is phenomenal. Jarrett Cline recommended this place, so I knew it was going to be good! I’m #TeamAllison all the way! I would give 10 stars, but they only gave me 5. I highly recommend this establishment, and the booth that I and Jared now own is right next to the register.

The best omelette I’ve ever had! I had stopped ordering them at other places because they were always disappointing. Not this time. The omelette was so heavenly fluffy it melted in my mouth. I ordered mine with ham, sausage, cheese, onions and peppers. Added their homemade chili on top. Perfection! I don’t live anywhere near this beautiful gem and I want to go back and eat there. I’m a four hour drive away😩. But I will be back. Customer service was also top notch. Thank you for restoring my faith in the omelette world.

This would be a 5 star rating of it had not taken an hour to get our food. The server and the quality of the food was amazing. Everyone has bad days, staffing wise, so definitely give them a shot. The food and service are great.

Was told this place was a diner. Not exactly what I expected for a diner. The service was great. We had a huge group, and they did very well with us, although they don't really have the room for a huge group. Food was alright. Everything appeared to be clean. Would eat here again possibly, but I'm not from this area. Would choose my NC diners over this one for sure.

It was a pretty bad experience. The servers were obviously in a bad mood due to a bus load of a high school girls sports team being there. After being ignored for a bit I finally got a menu and a coffee. Then after a too long wait, they finally took my order. 20 minutes later, no food and an empty coffee cup. No attempt from the servers to check on me. No refills on my coffee. I finally just tossed a five on the table for the coffee (I didn't have any ones & couldn't get a hold of a server to even ask for change) and I left. 30 minutes invested to leave hungry! I went 1 block up the road to IHOP and had a great experience.

This place is like waffle house, but maybe even better 🤔. this coming from someone who loves waffle house. The french toast, omelets, and strawberry whip cream waffle was absolutely great. Will absolutely return next time I'm staying in Beckley after skiing at winterplace.

Wow! Delicious! Great find in our travels. Best Eggs Benedict I've had. Very friendly and attentive server. Everything my husband and I ordered was delicious starting with the coffee!

Good, quick and relatively cheap breakfast while traveling.

Good vibe in the place. 3 am on a Saturday, music turnt up and everybody just kickin it. Eggs over medium were a bit runny but not the worst. Everything else was on point though.

We called ahead and let them know that a group of about 25-30 of us would be showing up. They were so gracious. The service was absolutely on point and the food was definitely delicious.

Clean, friendly staff and great food. I will return in the future.

Becky is a nice city but the roads haven't kept up with its growth. Too much traffic, very hard to manage driving through in a timely manner because it doesn't matter what time, the main traffic arteries are very heavy. Also your GPS will tell you to turn into a street so you're looking for the street but there's no street signs in many of the streets. I realize these things all cost money but the roads haven't changed in some areas in 40 years. They are in need of expansion and I get that these things cost money. You can't tell me the city can't afford the upgrades. It is long overdue.

The food was wonderful! The servers were great! It was fun watching the cooks do their magic to make good food. But... The table/booths were very small and uncomfortable. The wait for the food was "oh my gosh, we have run out of stuff to talk about and our phones are boring" long. The line cooks NEVER stopped working fast to turn around orders and plating them beautifully. I hate making posts like this.

Attentive staff, good food, reasonable prices and a down home family friendly atmosphere makes this diner a Beckley gem. I go here to campaign for mayor and hear the latest dirt on Beckley supposed civil servants. Highly recommended.

This place was definitely a hidden gem. Our food was perfect the first time no one in my family of 5 had a single complaint. Jim was the cook who definitely knows his stuff. Would 100% recommend

Fantastic worth the 1hr 20min drive, Melissa was amazing; the cook I didn't catch his name but he did amazing with our food steak was perfect along with our over easy eggs!! Played some music every thing was as it should be in a local diner!! Will be back!!❤️

This was such a treat! Passing through on a quick trip and needed breakfast. Everything was fantastic! The salsa tasted homemade, eggs perfect, sourdough toast amazing, hash browns crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside. My husband has the country boy omelet and really enjoyed it too. Wait staff very attentive and friendly. Very little wait. Would highly recommend!
