So first off, the location is just amazing, I recommend coming before or after for drinks at the Palmer house, it’s truly a delight to see. My uncle wanted to take us to some show, we chose this one. It was very impressive. Not your traditional big magic show. I enjoyed the intimate setting and the music. I definitely recommend wearing some cocktail attire at the minimum. Will check out again.

Dennis is a one of a king magician and mentalist! My husband and I were blown away by his show! The upscale intimate setting, the decor was fabulous, the show was beyond incredible. Not only does Dennis do up close magic keeping the entire audience engaged from start to finish. We enjoyed every second of the show and were mind blown many times. This man takes magic to another level and this will forever be my favorite magician and show. I’m glad we chose the VIP to spend a little extra time with Dennis! The up close personal experience is one for the books.

this definitely needs to go on everyone’s to do list when visiting chicago! dennis is amazing. he did something out of ‘Nightmare Alley’ where he was able to guess what my personal item as he was blindfolded! i’m also not usually a drinker but i enjoyed a complimentary glass of white wine during the show. i also loved the palmer house’s historic style and the music that plays, which sent me back in time.

I would highly recommend this show!! One of the most fun things my husband and I have done in a long time! We were in awe with lots of laughter too. The Encore room add-on is a must, along with grabbing dinner at Petterino’s before! If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would!

What a fun and entertaining experience! Dennis performs a nice variety of magic with great skill and wonderful humor. He involved almost everyone in the audience throughout the 90 minutes ~ and enchanted even the skeptics. The "encore" performance that follows for a smaller group is worth every penny. Very close-up magic, plus the chance to ask questions of shared interest. The new location (on Randolph, just west of Dearborn) is so comfortable and classy. Seating is assigned for your party. And every seat has a great view.

Really didn't know what to expect for a magic performance in Chicago but WOW. Dennis is funny, smart, and defies all logic with his variety of magic tricks. Many jaws dropped throughout our lovely Sunday afternoon that we experienced this.

It's been days and I'm still thinking of the show, and no closer to understanding really anything he did. It was a highly interactive show; I'm pretty sure everyone in the audience helped with multiple tricks. Getting to experience a trick literally in my hand was a huge highlight. Dennis was a lot of fun and has an infectious passion for his craft.

We had the best time this weekend at Magic Parlour! It was a super intimate venue and the show was very personal --- almost everyone got in the act. Dennis is an amazing magician and performer and yes, "how did he do that?" was said repeatedly by us and everyone else there. So much fun. A must-do for anyone living in or visiting Chicago.

Just left this show, amazing, well worth the visit. Best close up magic show we have seen of its kind. The after show/meet and greet was also definitely worth it. Would highly recommended.

I’ve always loved the whole vibe and mystery behind magicians & magic and went with the mindset of being entertained- which I definitely was! My Husband on the other hand was so skeptical— and was called out on it during the show & asked to participate 🤣. By the end of the show, he was scratching his head & said, it has to be magic. We had an absolute blast & will definitely be back. The setting is beautiful & classy. Tip: book early & try to get in the encore room; it’s definitely worth it!
