My 6-year old daughter started taking lessons at Elbrook last year. Emerson has infectious joy and enthusiasm for what they do, and it feeds my daughter’s excitement for her lesson each week. Emerson understands that at a young age, making music should be fun, and they make it that way! An added convenience is that we have the flexibility to do either virtual or in-person lessons, so we never miss a lesson due to weather or illness. Highly recommend Elbrook!

I can only echo everyone else and agree that Emerson is an excellent teacher. My granddaughter is so happy to be taking lessons here, I am completely satisfied.

We feel so lucky to have found Emerson to introduce our son to music performance. Neither my wife or I are musical, but always wish we were and it was important to us to give our son a chance to be. Knowing nothing about music, we were overwhelmed looking for music teachers for him at age 4, but luckily Emerson was responsive from the beginning and we deiced to start with them first. After the first practice, we cancelled with all the other teachers around the city we had looked into as it was clear Emerson was the perfect fit. Our son has been at it for almost a year now, he is doing great and most importantly he is loving it! Emerson is so great with kids and it is clear during the recitals that they are so invested and proud of all the kids and how hard they work. Emerson is a skilled player, patient, joyful, and a fantastic teacher. Highest recommendation for anyone considering music lessons

My 4 y.o. boy has taken piano lessons with teacher Emerson for 6 months now and has never had a day where he is not excited to go through the doors. Emerson has a very realistic approach to teaching a 4 yo the piano- he does not expect my son to practice at home; gives him brain breaks on the ipad; and uses the time to get to know my son and relate to him. The feel that I get from Emerson's approach to teaching small children is that he just wants to provide a positive musical experience for them in a low stakes environment. That being said, my son has learned a lot from Emerson at a respectable pace, using child-friendly materials. I have a feeling we will be here for a while :-) ** This studio also provides a small room for siblings to work/play in and allows for my youngest son to interact with his zoo of animals that live in the home (2 cats, 2 dogs, and 5 chickens); he just adores it.

We can't recommend Emerson highly enough. My 8 year old just started playing piano this year and we are so happy that we found Elbrook Music Studio. Emerson has a kindness and joy about them that is hard to describe, but immediately obvious in their interactions with students. My child was instantly comfortable and at ease. He comes home excited to tell and show us all the new things he learned and "piano lesson day" is his favorite day of the week. He always likes the songs that he gets to play and Emerson seems to find exactly what is motivating to him. We highly recommend Emerson and are so grateful for the expertise, patience and fun they bring to lessons!

Our 16-year-old has had a fantastic experience with Emerson since he started piano lessons this year. Emerson is personable, patient, and an overall wonderful human. Just wish we had started sooner.

This music studio is amazing. Knowledgeable teachers with great energy and creativity! My kids have been taking voice classes with Grace who taught them vocal techniques and challenged them with advanced songs for their age. Kids simply love Grace! Thanks a lot!

My son met Emerson during the heyday of COVID and has fallen in love with understanding music. Emerson is patient, kind, funny and an amazing teacher. Emerson has a way of relating to each child no matter their music knowledge or their quirkiness. And the Halloween concert is a must-see - costumes and all!!

Emerson is very knowledgeable, nice, personal, and reasonable in price. I love how I can remote my piano lessons. It is very easy to reschedule an appointment. I recommend Elbrook Music Studio to any one wanting to learn piano of all ages.
