Stitch Central has a great collection of quilting cottons! They carry lots of great designer fabrics like Robert Koffman, Cotton + Steel, Art Gallery, and more. They have really beautiful yarn. There's workshops and classes. The shop is in a historic building and is very open and bright. Honestly, just go to see how cute the space is and then you'll just fall in love. The lovely ladies who own the shop are really great and super knowledgeable. It's a great alternative to Joann's because.....shop small! Shop local! It's the best way!

I was traveling from out of state and wanted to visit a few local quilt shops, I visited the website and researched the shop. If I had known they required masks to shop at the store before I drove all the way to this shop I would not have wasted my gas . It would be considerate to mention you require masks , might I suggest by your hours of operation . Thank you for responding in a timely manor for that I changed the review and added more Stars. I did not go in the shop because of a sign on the door that says MASKS REQUIRED . Since the sign is posted I respectfully did not enter. I did not call because I accepted this as a rule to enter your shop.

Don’t walk , RUN !! I walked in and instantly fell in love. I was tired of the same old yarn everyone had and found this place. I will never turn back and they Will know me by name. 😍 Oh and they made me feel so comfortable as well. I love it here.

I couldn’t care less about the knitting part of the store (it’s not my bag) but I make a beeline for the quilting cottons. It’s the closest shop to me and has become my go to for basics and much more. They carry fabric lines I like and , have nice mix of precuts and on the bolt options. They seriously pack the space they’re in with more than you think possible. Also, pay cash and you’ll get an entry to a monthly drawing for a gift card. (I believe that’s the prize. I haven’t won — yet).

Stitch Central is a perfect quilt shop. The fabric selection was stunning and it was almost impossible to narrow down my selections. The people who work here are so kind, funny, and helpful. I can’t wait to make my projects!

It was love at first sight! Stitch Central has a great selection of fabrics, local, quality yarns and helpful notions. The shop itself is beautiful. Without sacrificing any of that charming beauty, every inch of space is intelligently employed to maximize function. The retail and educational spaces don't feel at all crowded, but the shop contains a lot of stuff. It's a feast for the eyes inside the charming store, but you won't leave full, I promise. You will want more. It's clear the owners know what they are talking about. They are offering clinics and classes as well as ad hoc help when asked. I asked. I got. It really did help. I'll make this a frequent destination whether I have a specific goal in mind or am just looking for inspiration. Can't stress how great it is to have such a great store in the area.

I just threw a sewing party for my nine year old daughter here and it was wonderful! They were warm and welcoming over the phone and very easy to work with. The instructors did a fantastic job guiding my daughter and her friends through the project and I couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous setting. The shop is adorable!! Stitch Central carries a nicely curated selection of fabric, yarn, and notions (including sewing themed mugs, pouches, and cards - great gift ideas!). It’s also located in this cute little shopping area with a coffee shop just up the street. This is definitely a must see if you are in the area!
