Quaint visitor center with exhibits on native cultures from the area, native artists and artistry, plenty of books, and check-in for backcountry permits and info. Note, Colter Bay may not have water - this is not unusual during summer months.

The Colter Bay Visitor Center was quite simple comparing to other national parks’ visitor centers. It does not have a lot of exhibits, but the NPS video was quite informative, highly recommended.

We took the family here to learn more about the Grand Tetons. The visitor center is tiny. The kids liked the bear stuffed in there. We got a map here of the park. The way we came in didn't have a gate. Do walk down to the bay. We walked out around it to the bigger body of water. It's a beautiful walk between the trees. To just walk out to the opening is only about 0.3 miles Long. It's handicap accessible and stroller friendly. Look for the sidewalk to the right of the visitor center for way down. If this review helps you, please give us a thumbs up! #crazykleinadventure

Had to look for the ‘cabins office’ to check-in. It’s in a different section from the visitor center. We arrived late at midnight but there was still staff and they were very friendly. Cabins have minimal amenities; no hair dryer or mini fridge but very clean and beds are comfortable.

Loved our basic cabin shared by 5. Small, clean, rustic. Bathrooms were newly modernized and everything was well thought out. Quiet, well marked walks and great dining. Informative ranger sessions.

The ride up to Colter Bay was spectacular. It was well plowed for the winter ride. Visitor center is closed for the winter but restrooms were available .

This is a great base point if you are doing any winter sightseeing or snowshoeing activities on the Jackson Lake. There's also a parking lot and bathroom nearby too.

We visited a pleasant national park visitor center with an impressive view. Our decision to use the stairs to get to the dock paid off as we were able to see wildlife, which made our visit to the center even more enjoyable. Fortunately, the restrooms were accessible and we found helpful resources such as maps and posted regulations to enhance our experience.

Great gift shop & beautiful views of the Tetons! The bathrooms were clean and there was a bottle filling station accessible from the outside of the building. Parking was plentiful and staff was friendly.

Always an amazing and transcendent experience at @Grand Teton National Park. Colter Bay cabins are rustic and quiet, just what is needed if you’re in need of a contemplative and reflective time. A wonderful place to get centered.
