We absolutely loved having John at our reception. After seeing him at 2 different family events, we knew we really wanted to have him at our reception. He did an excellent job directing activities, keeping the crowd engaged and creating an overall fun and exciting experience for everyone. It really put us at ease having him there through our event. We loved the everwall and the photos we received from guests snapping pics throughout the event. It was so nice communicating with Ashley to coordinate the details as well. They were all so professional and attentive to every detail. We highly recommend Staar entertainment your special events too.

We recently had our 50th (Plus 1) Reunion from high school and used Staar Entertainment. In addition to John the FABULOUS DJ we added a few extras to make it more festive. It could not have been a better time for everyone who attended - people kept remarking that it was one of the best reunions ever (and we've had a lot). The music was perfect and the dancing was continuous - use them if you want to have a great event!

I hired Staar Entertainment for my son's Bar Mitzvah and could not have been happier with my decision. John was so full of energy and a true expert in the business. I used John Wendelken for my son's bar mitzvah a 5 years ago. He was absolutely amazing!!! He's such a nice, and easy going person and was great with my son when he met him. He was great to plan with. We met and discussed every aspect of the party. He was open to anything we wanted and had great ideas as well. The party went off without a hitch. He was so fun! All the kids had a blast and even the adults had fun because he included them in the festivities. I still have people telling me that it was the best party they have ever been to! So, when it came time to plan my other son's bar mitzvah, I literally brought the dates to John first to make sure he was available. I wouldn't have anyone else run my party!! He is top notch!

My wife and I want to give a big shout out to John W. at Staar Entertainment for being the best DJ we could have ever asked for! He worked hard with us to figure out the music for our wedding. Even when we were struggling to pick music, he was there with quick insights and recommendations only a true professional could provide. Also going above and beyond providing extra equipment to create a wonderful atmosphere for our guests, 10/10 would definitely go with this company again for future events.

Everyone loved the prom graduation party. John was amazing! The music was great, the games were awesome, it was really just a lot of fun. I honestly didn’t want the party to end. I wish I could have a party like that every weekend! That night was very special, none of us will ever forget it. My daughter's Bat Mitzvah was August 20, 2022 and John and the dancers were FANTASTIC. From the moment we walked in the door until the last song was played, he had the kids and adults dancing. You sometimes worry that the kids are going to be shy or reluctant to participate, that was not a problem AT ALL, they were non-stop. My daughter and her friends had an absolute blast and I have gotten nothing but great feedback from the adults in attendance. I took so few photos because we were all having such a good time. I can not say enough good things about Staar Entertainment and give John and his staff my highest recommendation.

John Wendelken is an absolute professional in his work. He helped organize a lot of details for our school’s fundraiser events for the past 13 years and he’s indispensable for our community.
