Unprofessional, arrogant, and rude. My 1 year old child was sick and when my wife called the office on a Saturday afternoon since the office was closed it forwarded to the doctors phone. Instead of helping, Nadeem Hashmi yelled at my wife telling her to “respect the doctors time” and said “this isn’t your personal help line” because it was after-hours around 3pm and I guess he wasn’t happy about the phone call coming to him. He didn’t put any effort to listen to what the issue was and wouldn’t let my wife explain the reason for the call. No one has ever talked to my wife as rudely as he did. Insanely arrogant. Absolutely unacceptable for a pediatric doctor to behave like that when a first-time parent is calling for help or advice in an already stressful time. He didn’t feel like listening so he finally ended up just saying “take her to the ER” without understanding the reason she called. We did not take her to the ER and we have switched pediatricians since. Our new doctors office has an amazing after hours support system. If you can’t handle after hours calls then you should switch careers or retire but don’t take your anger out on your patients. I’ll be forwarding a full complaint to the Maryland Board of Physicians regarding this incident and hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Awesome doctor and he have great team. Appointments can be made quick according to the preferences. Response quick when needed. I take all my kids to doctor NADEEM HASHMI. Him and his team listen to the conversation very carefully

I've been taking my daughter to Dr. Hashmi since she was a preemie in the NICU and a decade later I still take her there. He's a great doctor!

I am very satisfied, they are friendly, they speak Spanish and the doctor who treated my kids is kind and helps when they need it.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Doctor dismissed my symptoms while they were clearly displayed in the office. Labs were not followed up on. Communication was rude and untimely.

Dr.Hashmi has been our pediatrician since my 10yo was born and now also my 5yo since he was born… Very courteous office staff, always able to get a same day sick visit and very short wait time.

I am very disappointed in how this office treats patients. Tell me how would you feel if the doctor goes straight to the point on how you’ve been missing appointments for reason that are caused by insurance & doesn’t even greet you or ask you how are you are you okay ? But goes directly into telling you that usually stuff like that happens you’re dismissed after 3 missed appointments. I found that very rude and unprofessional, she could’ve explained that to me after my appointment was over. Overall my appointment was less than 10min & I came in for a “physical”. She didn’t check my eyes on how they normally do for a physical and when asking for a refill on a prescription she gave me completely nonsense and no help. I just find it very rude how you welcome your patients after not seeing them for a while. I work for medical services as well and know how it is, but that should never give you a reason to be rude and with a tone in your voice.

Moved to this pediatrician because I needed a second opinion on my 4 month old baby coming from another office that I felt I was not taken seriously when it came to my concerns with my child I was super nervous it would happen again and I am extremely pleased to say that did NOT happen! Dr.Hashmi was extremely patient and understanding and broke down every little concern that I had. The staff was also super friendly, patient and helpful!

Dr. Nadeem Hashmi has been my son’s doctor for years. He is always kind, thoughtful and calming. I never feel rushed and he always listens.
