Crista Prates is an excellent Rheumatologist APRN, although I consider her a Doctor, not a nurse. She took the time to learn about my health, had come prepared to the initial consult having reviewed all of my records, went about testing in a logical manner and followed up with informing me about results and a treatment plan. I highly recommend Crista, as she had been highly recommended to me by two friends. Her office staff was also excellent.

Crista Prates, APRN has helped me to manage my conditions so incredibly well. This type of medicine (Rheumatic conditions) are so difficult at times to pin point. I was able to have a condition that was first diagnosed by another provider be rechecked and she was able to dismiss that one and the med that was not working for me and do more dx testing. Imaging. Etc and we have finally come to a treatment that is helping. She is so good at what she does. Be patient in trying out different things and if you see Crista just know that she is really studying your case and your symptoms and test results to get you the best most accurate diagnosis and medicine that can help. I'm really grateful for her! I'll gladly drive an hour to see her. Or virtual if need be. She's just exactly what I needed to find for clarity in my complex case narrowed down so clear now. Highly recommend!

I love Crista she always explains things to me and answers all my questions. The check in staff there are so nice which to me is a big thing. The check in and check out staff can make or break a practice. Thank you for always being so kind and compassionate. The medical assistant is always very pleasant and thorough.

Crista Prates is outstanding! She took the time to listen to me, assess my symptoms, and get to know me. She was pragmatic in moving forward with a plan for diagnosis and treatment.
