The Howard county public library is one of our family's favorite destinations. They are always hosting great family friendly events. Here are some pictures of when we went to the bubble spectacular.

Very friendly and helpful staff. There is a wonderful Butterfly/Community Garden on the grounds of the library.

Very nice place all around. Great selection of books and plenty of computers. Employees are very helpful and friendly. Lots of variety for the kids with different toys and games all learning oriented. You can even "rent" a space out in the garden if you like to grow vegetables or flowers.

Beautiful library! They have an Awesome kids zone. The staff is soooo nice & helpful. Impressive! 💞

This is the HCPL satellite nearest to my house. Very convenient location, for me. Not so much if you live across town. Location, location, location. But, yes, it's a very fine library and the most recently built library building in Kokomo. It was actually designed to be a library from the get go. The collection covers the essentials. About a quarter of the adult section is fiction. The children's section looks fun. It's almost as big as the children's area at the main branch, downtown. They have meeting rooms all along the outer walls. The back conference room is a county polling place. I voted here on the last two presidential elections. Oh! The main attraction is the computer area. They have a couple dozen computers with MS Office installed. Or, you can go online and attack people on social media. And, if you've got some shady internet deal cooked up, this is where you can go to keep the rest of your family in the dark about it. Not that I've ever thought of doing something like that. But, yeah, nice library.

Kaitlyn, Courtney and Lori run a get place. Plenty of reading, movies and music to choose from. If they don't have it they can get it through the ILL system. Loads of programs for kids. A very welcoming place.

This library in particular (south branch) is absolutely phenomenal! You can tell they truly care about the kids. There is always an event going on for them, consistently aiding and encouraging growth in children! The environment here at this library is awesome! Always polite, and professional. My kids always have a great time and can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

It was very clean. It has wheel Chair able to get in. Everyone is polite. Treated nicely. My kids are adults now but I loved the area as you come in you can get your kids, grandbabies with a beach theme. I love it.
