We
are
on
an
8
week
road
trip
in
a
small
travel
trailer.
We
chose
this
campground
at
the
price
of
$55.00
per
night
for
a
Premium
site
because
we
were
ready
for
a
place
to
stay
that
was
more
upscale.
Sadly,
we
were
quite
disappointed.
On
the
positive
side:
Our
site
was
level.
We
had
nice
view
of
the
lake.
It
was
fairly
quiet
at
night.
It
did
have
private
baths
with
warm
showers
and
electricity.
The
sites
were
not
large,
but
there
is
adequate
room.
It's
great
place
for
families.
On
the
negative
side:
$55.00
is
an
extremely
high
to
pay
for
the
value.
The
sites
and
road
are
both
gravel
and
dirt.
The
dirt
turns
to
Texas
slimy
clay
in
even
a
light
rain.
Buildings
are
old
and
not
well
cared
for.
The
bathrooms
were
quite
dirty
when
we
arrived
and
obviously
not
cleaned
over
our
3
day
stay.
It
just
isn't
as
I
would
expect
for
the
"premium"
price.
The
campground
as
a
whole
had
a
VERY
rustic
appearance.
This
is
really
a
fishing
camp...it
was
super
busy
with
fishing
boats,
people
coming
and
going
with
"fish
camps"
set
up.
Which
is
great
if
you
like
fishing.
But,
if
you're
looking
for
excellence
I
do
not
recommend
it.
