Highly recommended. Excellent surf lessons for our kids. Roger made it very easy to set up. The kids had Melvin as a surf instructor and he was fantastic. Worked very well with the kids and they loved him. As parents, we felt the kids were safe and with experts.

Simple. Go with Roger. Professional, relaxed, safe, welcoming. All-in-one guide, instructor, and excellent equipment rental, with a big Brazilian heart. I’ve been surfing 30 years, and he taught me so much on my first visit to Rincon. In days I knew the spots, the winds, and how to interact with the locals. He 100% made my trip one of a lifetime. And I will return shortly with my kids now so they can learn to surf from Roger. True Aloha spirit.

If you want a surfing lesson from an actual Instructor and not just a young surfer then contact Roger. I purchased two other lessons elsewhere during the past year and a half of surfing and actually learned so much more this time around. I can take the tips I got from Roger and I know for certain my surfing will improve drastically. If you haven't heard me yet, I highly recommend Roger and Surf787. He is extremely professional, easy going and laid back.

Roger was a gem. We had two adults, two 14 yos & one 11yo. Roger's instruction was focused on safety, technique and mindset.. My 14 yo daughter was very nervous... I told her she wouldn't have to do it, but she could watch us. Roger was so great at helping her overcome her fear that she ended up coming out and surfing with us!! This alone is a testament to Roger's amazing teaching ability and the level of trust his instills in his students. Again, Roger's focus on safety, technique and letting go of fear in your mind made for an incredible experience. Roger was able to see how everyone took a wave and gave precise and helpful feedback that was easily incorporated into the very next wave. Personally, he could see I had tension in my body and was able to remind me to release it just as I was going and I was able to stand up and surf! Another important detail - Roger made sure to get everyone's height and weight when we signed up. He made sure we were riding the correct size board, which is critical... This review would be remiss to not mention Daniel, Roger's teaching assistant. He was kind, sweet, and an excellent complement to Roger's style. This was an excellent, all around surfing experience! I highly recommend Roger's instruction and will be back to surf with him!

Roger took great care of my wife and me during our surfing lesson. I was surfing better than I ever have after just a couple of lessons with him. He knew all of the best local spots, and I can’t recommend Surf787 enough. Obrigado, Roger! Nós veremos você novamente!

Roger is both an amazing host and surf instructor. His Airbnb properties are extremely clean and full of amenities - he has everything you could possibly need. We had a great internet connection, enjoyed the Roku tv in our downtime, and the pool felt great post-surf. The locations of his properties are on point as well, being close to Rincon but also providing backyard privacy. Above all, Roger is a great communicator (and now friend)! He is always readily available via phone to answer any questions you may have about the best restaurants, etc. I also highly recommend his surf instruction and guiding. On our second trip with Roger, he guided us each morning and we scored clean, shoulder to head high waves at five different breaks in Rincon and Aguadilla. We can’t wait for the next trip!

Roger is a great host. House is beautiful, clean and has everything you need. Our group was 12 and we had an amazing time and everything you need is just a few minutes away looking forward to stay again here.

Just had an amazing time working with Roger at 787. He is way cool, has encyclopedic knowledge of the breaks and is a very effective coach and teacher. This wasn't a typical surf lesson, light on content, with simplistic advice. Roger delivers real analysis of areas where improvement can happen and shows how to get there. Patient and really positive, he's also no BS, which I love. Anyone who wants to make real progress should go to PR and work with this guy. I couldn't rate him more highly.

Roger tought my wife and I to surf in april 2021, he is very flexible and really knows how to teach surf. You will be happy with him. He will pick a spot for you depending on the weather conditions and wind directions in Rincon. He used longboards with us that are betfer than other places. He likes to tell stories and he's outgoing and personable.

Roger is amazing. He is a wealth of knowledge. He genuinely cares about your safety and shares the love of surfing. This was our families first trip to PR. He helped our family of 7 understand the different surf areas, keyholes and rented us the right boards for our surf levels. In addition, he has a good vibe! 🤙🏽

We spent a week with Roger as our surf guide in April. It was amazing! Of the places we have travelled to surf with guides… Fiji, Maldives, Costa Rica … he was far and away our favorite. He found us waves every day when the swell was small and wind was blowing. He is very thoughtful and considerate of his guests, a truly gracious host. He drove us to different breaks and we had waves all to ourselves on several occasions. Thank you so much for a “swell time”! We will be back for sure.
