Everything from the food to the service was amazing! Came here for our last night in Seattle to celebrate our anniversary and they surprised us with a handwritten card and complimentary champagne. My boyfriend and I actually got engaged earlier that day and when we told them, they brought us out a delicious dessert on the house. Although everything we ate was top notch, the best thing by far was the friendly and genuine service provided.

Wonderful Thanksgiving meal. Food and service top notch. Consistent across the brand from city to city. My steak was delicious. The crab app was dry and needed cocktail sauce too. Plus when we got there, the place was not that busy, yet we were seated right by the kitchen and food runners.

Sadly we wanted to have one last great meal before leaving Seattle. However the reservations were not needed, dress was whatever, miss behaving children over cooked entree poor culinary workmanship. The good news is that the service we received from Omar Cruz Giles reminded me of the quality of pride in service that I knew as a young man. He was the bright light in a otherwise dark room. I know that times are tough and filling the seats is job one but five star restaurant requires five star food!

What a magnificent dinner! Very classy place, and the service from everyone was prompt and excellent. Caesar salad was very fresh and the dressing had awesome flavor. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and every single bite was absolutely delicious. I normally don't order dessert, but after the first few courses I had to see what was offered and decided to go with the coconut cream pie. Underneath a giant pile of whipped cream was a tasty puck of coconutty goodness, and the accompanying butter cookie was a marvelous treat. I'm usually quite disciplined when sticking to specific dietary restrictions, but everything here was so amazing that it was totally worth the calories to splurge.

This place is so, so busy and I went during the week so you probably need to come early or make a res for a weekend night or with a group. But I loved all of the food I had! The field green salad, I had with the citrus vinaigrette, I came two nights and a row for. So refreshing! The sea bass and asparagus was also so good, as was the steak filet, no notes! The spinach was good; I ate the full size by myself. The drinks were strong and taste like alcohol. Not a complaint but my server did clarify they don’t add additional sweeteners, which I like. It may sound silly but the star of the show for me was the pumpernickel bread! I probably had 6 slices over 2 nights and I’d eat more right now.

What a dining experience! Firstly I'd like to mention our waiter, Jake. He provided phenomenal service and people could learn from him! The food was outstanding. The NY strip was a clear winner but everything we tried was a hit from steak, to drinks and dessert! Sure it's expensive but you already know that going in. You get what you pay for and it's worth it!

Came here for Valentine's day with a reservation. Parking was easy, just right under the building! The server was super helpful helping us choose portion sizes that worked for us. And the food was phenomenal. I had been craving good steak and this place gave it to me. We go the filet mignon, lamb chops (in a smaller size), and the lobster on steak! The server was super flexible, adjusting anything to fit what we could finish even if it wasn't on the menu. Food was worth the price. Environment was great. I will definitely be back if I'm craving great steak!

The food was great and service was excellent! Rod was super attentive and took such amazing care of us. The total came to $340 after tip and taxes, but we felt like it was worth it for the atmosphere, food quality, and service. We got one appetizer, two entrees, a lobster tail add-on, a side dish, cheesecake, diet coke, and one cocktail.

The lamb and the recommended rib eye is very good! Th meat is juicy and soft with tasty seasoning. The cocktail is nice as well, I love passion fruit mojito! A bit expensive but the food and service are really good.

What an amazing experience, from the moment we arrived it was 5 STARS!! Probably the best dining experience I have had in any steakhouse, from spot on recommendations to the perfect martini to the amazing wines that were paired with our food. The crab cake was cooked perfectly, the Ahi Tuna and my Tenderloin were perfect as well. Andy our server was again probably the best server I have ever had! I have dined at the majority of the steakhouses in Seattle and the Capital Grille is easily my new favorite!

My wife treated me to dinner here for my birthday. The service was beyond exceptional. Everyone that served us had a friendly and warm attitude. They provided complimentary champagne, and a birthday treat afterwards. The dry aged New York strip was mind blowing.

Service was definitely 5 star. I am impressed with the bread choices and the sea salt butter. A little disappointed with the steak tartare we had. The flavour over killed the dish. However, the crab cake is a killer. Overall still a five star restaurant.

Wife’s Birthday. Good steak dinner. Very happy with my steak cooked as ordered. Wife steak was ordered medium and delivered well done. You would think you go to a steak house that specializes in steak wouldn’t over cook it. Under cook and cook more if customer requests. Very Nice dessert offered for birthday.

Enjoyed my meal at The Capital Grille. Service was excellent, attentive and informative. Slight issue with one of the items ordered but our waiter quickly addressed the issue. Crab and lobster cakes very delicious with lumps of lobster. Lamb chops where Great and will be my dish of choice moving forward.

We celebrated our 11 year anniversary here today and it was honestly the best restaurant experience we have every encountered. Our waiter was the kindest person we’ve ever met. The food was phenomenal. And the drinks weren’t all watered down like most places do. The ambience of the restaurant was romantic and we couldn’t have been happier. We honestly may make this our anniversary spot every year. Thank you 100 times. Tonight was perfect :)

I made a reservation through the website two weeks ago and wrote specifically how I wanted to surprise my "friend" on that special night for us. I wanted to ask her to be my girlfriend so asked for a written note with the dessert and also some rose's petals on the table. My friend and I showed up on time, when they took us to our table, everything was so nice looking, she was very surprised. Then when she went to the ladies room, the waitress double checked with me about the note (which was very prudent from her waiting for my friend not to be there so she could ask about the surprise). Then when it was dessert time, I thought we would have to actually order the dessert so they could bring the note with it but no, they just brought it with a note and a rose as well. I was so very happy and excited, my friend got all shy, blushed and also very happy, she loved the surprise and said YES 😊 ❤️. I highly recommend this place, it was the best service I ever had, food was delicious, waitresses were very nice and kind. We will definitely come back. I haven't been so happy and satisfied for paying well worthed money like that. WE LOVED EVERYTHING. Thank you so very much for such a unique experience.

Dined in for my birthday, the server was very nice and took very good care of us. The food came out promptly and they offered me a complimentary small dessert sample. It made me feel all warm and special. You cannot go wrong with any of the food items. I loved the lamb chops and crab cake. My husband had the Tomahawk and it was great as well.

This an upscale restaurant. I was there 7 months ago, and i can't wait to go back. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the servers were amazing. If you haven't been there yet, and you love a good steak, you should give it a try. 👌👌

I’m from the Midwest and visited Seattle for work. I tried a few places in the city, and only this place cooked the seafood well. I had the Alaskan Halibut — one of the seasonal specials, recommended by the friendly and helpful staff — for lunch, and it was very pleasant. The risotto was properly cooked, infused with the aroma of pesto and the creaminess of mascarpone. The halibut was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, indicating that their chef really knows how to grill. The sourness of the vinaigrette and the pickle gave the dish a kick, balancing the savory flavor of the fish.

Sophisticated, elegant and well presented, The Capital Grill will not disappoint. The clam chowder is perfect, NY strip beautifully cooked and the complementary cheese cake was delicious…. But the service is off the charts. The instant you even start thinking you’d like something, it’s already there. Outstanding service.

Excellent service and amazing food. Would have been an easy 5 stars all round if the red wine wasnt served chilled. I'm not sure why it would ever be served chilled, but perhaps asking customers if they would like their wine chilled or room temperature would be an easy option.

Phenomenal food, drinks, and excellent service! The calamari and the steaks were cooked to perfection with a taste out of this world, plus melt in your mouth. The service was wonderful, Anna was our server and she was prompt and kind, answering all of our questions. 10/10 recommend.

Food - great. Service - great. Atmosphere - great. Well, for fine dining, they're a bit relaxed when it comes to the dress code. This is a good thing - imagine if they turned away an infamously casual dressed Adam Sandler. While men can't wear a muscle shirt and no one can wear obvious athletic clothing (sorry ladies, no gym leggings), they're pretty forgiving otherwise. Started out with bread (complimentary), cocktails (espresso martini and a mojito), split the fresh oysters on the half shell, and the mixed spring greens salad. Moved on to the mains - pan seared sea bass, and the chef suggested sliced filet mignon. Folks, bring your appetites - the portions aren't skimpy and everything tastes great. My one suggestion is to take wine suggestions from your server - they know the menu and the flavors, so just tell them your preferences, and then let them work their magic. The service is friendly, professional, and matches the ambience of the location and quality of the food. Special occasion or not, give this establishment a visit when in town.

I am really impressed! Josh the manager, the waitstaff (Amber) and the chef really have a strong desire to make your experience one you will always remember. I am still thinking of this amazing meal and the way we were treated and it’s been 2 weeks! Thank you for putting so much care and attention in everything you do to make your guests feel special. What a night we had :)

Expensive, small plates but my filet mignon was perfect. The service was by far 5 stars. Wouldnt expect anything less for the prices. My friends steak and lobster was tiny though, I had to give him some of my filet to even it out.

this meal is true local experience. the oysters are straight from the bay and the sauces compliment the dish well . the tuna Hawaiian and asparagus was best described as euphoria melting in your mouth happiness. make sure you have it the correct temperature for the tuna to an elevated experience chef knows best . the cosmopolitan is better described as a warm hug to welcoming traveler's. the staff is an excellent customer service top notch.

We reserved a table for 2 people on Sunday night to celebrate our anniversary. This is our first time at The Capital Grille. The staff prepared a handwritten note for us, decorated the table with rose petals, and treated us a stunning dessert plate. The service and food was excellent that we really enjoyed our night although the weather in Seattle was not good at all. We want to say thank you to Jessica, she was very friendly and helped us to have a great experience. We feel very sorry that we wanted to tip her half by card and half by cash but we was busy talking that we forgot to put cash in the check. We only realized that when we were at the parking lot and we both felt so bad about it. Jessica deserves more for her service. Thank you Capital Grille to give us an unforgettable dinner experience! We will come back!

Went here for my birthday and it was INCREDIBLE! The service was perfection, the food was perfection, everything was just absolutely above and beyond. It's an expensive dinner, but I would have paid twice what they charged for the experience they delivered. Thank you to our server and the entire team at The Capital Grille for a really great birthday evening.

My husband and I went for my birthday, and it was beyond all expectations. Our server Joel was amazing with his dinner suggestions and it was the best steaks and mashed potatoes we've ever had. We will absolutely be going back. The drinks were great and desserts wonderful

The Capital Grille has a very nice atmosphere. The food and the service is outstanding. We had the tomahawk veal chop, lamb chops with Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. Appetizer was a salad and clam chowder. Again, all servers were very attentive and you can tell they enjoy serving their customers. Thank you again for the warm reception and dessert. We highly recommend The Capital Grille.
