If you are a fan of the delicatessen, you need to go here. If you like sausage, you should go here. The sandwiches are very good, the owner and staff are wonderful. I think the prosciutto was the best I've ever had. There are lots of other meats (see the photo of the meat window) and many European products, as well. It's worth the trip.

Oh boy I’m impressed! As someone who did not grow up with sandwiches, I’m really getting to see all the possibilities sandwiches can be so delicious. The Reuben was amazing to say the least, the hot corned beef paired with melted cheese was pure joy to enjoy. I went back for a cold sandwich paired with mushroom soup, and I’m even more impressed! The mushroom soup is the most mushroomy soup I’ve ever had! And the cold sandwich was a delight with tender and juicy pastrami. Not to mention all the delicious sausages they offer and assorted pantry items from Eastern Europe. I can already see myself visiting over and over again. Def a hidden gem in seattle!

Great little multicultural deli that has a long history in Seattle. Can be challenging to park here (out front) but we pop in and out in the middle of the day and calling ahead helps. Love, love, love their deli sandwiches! Also love to peruse and get things off the shelf like pickles, cookies, and cocoa mix. Great go-to place for holiday preparation.

Really excellent sandwiches and lots of interesting snacks to buy! Wish there was somewhere to sit and eat though. Highly recommend the Pastrami sandwich.

In town from Chicago and looking for a quick bite before we left. Will 1000000% recommend and be back if I'm in the area again. The woman working was so freaking nice! And Holy smokes the sandwhiches are top notch! Like cannot express enough how good it was! In addition to their market and smoked meats they offer thick fat stacked sandwhiches. I'm talking unhinge your jaw fat. Whatever sauce they use, wow. Quality and flavor and customer service 100/10. Cannot recommend enough.

Check expiration dates!! My husband got sent home with an entire Farmer's cheese block today that I was going to freeze and use for Christmas or in the future for Pierogis that pretty much has "best by date of 11/09 :(. It's Nov 5th!. I know I can go past this date a little but I expect sealed things to last longer. He should NOT have been sent with such large amount that expires soon. Now I feel rushed to cook with this plus eat it within the next month and we bought an entire $18 block of Farmer's cheese. Please don't do that to customers! Kabanosy sausage are VERY greasy, I've had kabanosy from 4 different stores in US and this might be the most greasy kabanosy I've ever tried. This might be due to the fact that they have NOT been smoked? How can kabanos not be smoked?? What makes it a Kabanos is the fact that it's a smoked sausage! I don't have a smoker! He bought 3lbs of it because we used to buy it in California, they are simply cooked so what am I supposed to do with this now?. I'm confused about what my husband arrived with. We are used to Polish stores on both coasts and I'm 100% Polish, I know what these should look like, but I'm thrown for a loop. Rest of the products he came back with were great (canned beets, sauerkraut, cookies, dry soups...all our favorite) but we live far, I can't go back with the sausage or the Farmer's cheese to replace them so am pretty disappointed as to what he got sent with and was VERY excited he stopped by the store while in Seattle. Advice for customers: check dates on packaging and double check what you're picking up!

Excuse me but where did you learn and get this recipe for a hot pastrami. A hot pastrami has always been served with cheese and spicy mustard, but not here. Does it matter, does it make a difference that they put other stuff on their sandwich? ABSOLUTELY! My taste buds were treated to a completely new experience with having peppers and onions on there, now I know why there are so many rave reviews and I’m going to have to try this addition at home. I really liked how this really is a tiny place but does everything so well. 3 ladies working behind the counter, all nice and super helpful. My order came out exactly as asked for. Want a hjnt? The potato salad was sold out. A local in the shop said try it, the ladies in the back were already making more, congratulations you just found my new favorite potato salad. I also got a chicken panini with pesto, equally as great. Sorry I didn’t grab any photos, my bad, next time maybe I’ll remember to put the sandwich down and take a photo to share.

Delicious pastrami on rye with fresh vegetables and cheese. Quick and friendly service. I found a park nearby to enjoy the sandwich (Minor Ave & University St)

An amazing hole in the wall shop. I stopped by here to grab lunch while doing errands and they have an amazing selection of deserts, cooking ingredients, and general deli items. 10/10 I highly recommend their Reuben sandwich and white sausage.

Always have a great experience when we go to the deli. A frequent spot to pick up something tasty. The lunch offerings are great and it's a very popular spot. Sandwiches are substantial and filling. Soups are tasty and filling . Their offerings of meat is expansive from ham hocks to a variety of sausages. Their specialty sausages, sardines, and chocolates are staples.

We went there today because we read the newspaper article. We got a Reuben and George’s Special. We also got potato salad. I have to say that my first bite of potato salad took me back to my childhood. It tasted exactly like my mom’s. Oh my gosh I’ll be back for more. What a wonderful little establishment. A must try!!

I got the ham and turkey on sourdough, potato salad and ham and potato soup. Everything was good. This is a European store with items you may find at other stores. The soup was lukewarm I think because I came 15 min before they close. The potato salad wasn't bad, it had eggs and dill in it. My total was over $30 so they ain't cheap. I may go again for work lunch.

Best Eastern European deli hands down. The pastrami on rye was the best one I've had in the west coast. This downhill road deli is a find and an absolute delight for food lovers

Best Deli in Seattle. Really a Seattle institution! Super friendly and helpful customer service! Sandwiches so good, forgot to take a picture before I started eating, but a beautiful last bite of my pastrami on rye!

For years this place has been a go to place when I need my fix of real Polish food. The meats selection is awesome and mostly home made, the sandwiches are fantastic and you can get all sort of other yummies from frozen pierogi, to Polish beer to desserts. Worth a visit :)

This is a Seattle hidden gem for great sandwiches! Inexpensive delicious deli sandwiches. It's simple. You get your money's worth with anything you order off their sandwich menu. Fresh deli meats are piled up high between a good selection of fresh bread.

Get the corned beef!!!! This has to be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. 2 blocks from Virginia Mason who has limited options for food!

Simple sandwiches done to perfection. The ingredients are so fresh a tier came down my eye after the first bite. Insanely good sandwiches don't miss out. I personally tried the roasted beef with cheddar and sour dough.
