Kerry Park has some of my favorite views of Seattle! You can see Mount Rainier on a clear day from here. The views at night are absolutely breathtaking when you can see the entire city lit up as well. The Space Needle is absolutely mesmerizing and seeing it from up here is totally worth the trip. It's not far from downtown so I highly recommend the trek for this beautiful viewpoint!

One of the best skyline views of downtown Seattle! Depending on how clear the sky is, you can catch Mount Rainier in the background showing it's beautiful face. The weather can be moody so you might not get the full view but nonetheless... Still pretty impressive!

This is one of the good spots to watch Seattle city from a elevated position with street side free parking. Though limited parking but I was able to get easily always. There is a park close by for kids. On a clear day or evening city looks beautiful.

It's just a small roadside overlook, instead of a park I would say. It only has a few benches and it's quite small. However, it has the best skyline to take pictures with Space Needle! You can see the Space Needle very clear from here and the view is really good. You can see downtown Seattle clearly. Recommend if you want to take some good photos of Space Needle! This park is free, easy to visit by bus.

Best view of Emerald city’s skyline, Space needle, mountain peak and the beautiful Elliott bay from this viewpoint. This is not a park so dont expect it to be big going by name, rather a viewpoint. Worth going at multiple times of the day to enjoy different landscape and sky lights! On a brighter day Mt. Rainier is visible. Sunsets and moonrises are amazing! Always packed with tourists or photoshoot groups making memories!

Great views of the city. It's really more of an awning than a park, from what I saw. There is no restroom and no real picnic area. There is a strip of sidewalk for you to walk along and see the view which is about 100 to 150 steps long. Though not expansive, I'd still say it's a must see!

Nice place to overlook the city and watch the sunset, but small space and always crowded at sunset time — I’ve gone on weekday evenings as well as weekend evenings and the railing is always packed. This is a great place to look at the space needle, city buildings, and Rainer and it makes the needle look extra impressive. Great at dusk too as you get the view of city lights. The west end of the view has a great angle of the mountain range, behind which the sun sets. Very pretty spot!

Nestled in the charming neighborhood of Queen Anne, Kerry Park is a true jewel in Seattle's crown. This quaint park, though small in size, offers a breathtaking panorama of the Emerald City, one that leaves visitors in awe and locals proud. The moment you step into Kerry Park, the view commands your attention. The iconic Seattle skyline stands majestically, with the Space Needle proudly rising against the backdrop of the sprawling city. On a clear day, the majestic Mount Rainier adds a touch of grandeur to the already stunning scenery. It's a photographer's dream, capturing the essence of Seattle in one sweeping glance. But Kerry Park isn't just about the view. It's a serene escape, a place where one can enjoy a quiet moment away from the city's hustle and bustle. The park is beautifully maintained, with lush green grass and a few benches perfectly placed for visitors to sit and soak in the surroundings. It's a popular spot for picnics, leisurely strolls, and introspective moments. As the sun sets, the park transforms into a magical space. The city lights begin to twinkle, and the skyline's reflection on the waters of Elliott Bay is nothing short of spectacular. It's a moment that encapsulates the beauty of Seattle, making Kerry Park a favored spot for romantic evenings, reflective solitude, or simply enjoying the city's beauty. Accessibility is another perk of Kerry Park. It's easy to reach, with ample street parking nearby, making it convenient for a quick visit or a lengthy stay. It's a popular spot among locals and tourists alike, yet it never feels overcrowded, retaining its peaceful ambiance. In a city filled with natural beauty and urban charm, Kerry Park stands out as a must-visit destination. Whether you're capturing postcard-perfect photos, seeking a tranquil spot to unwind, or just looking to admire the beauty of Seattle, Kerry Park promises an experience that's both memorable and heartwarming. It's not just a park; it's a celebration of the city's spirit.

This is a beautiful small park. What this park lacks in size is compensated with its sweeping view of the Seattle skyline. On a clear evening or morning this is a good spot to enjoy the view. This park is bit crowded on the weekends

A must visit park it you are in Seattle! It has a beautiful view of the skyline and Mt Rainier peeking behind the skyline if it is a clear day. The parking is pretty full if it is on weekends but you can find street parking on nearby streets. If you walk a little down the street you also get a view of beautiful mountains with water foreground. This is a nice sunset spot. You should visit the park at night time as well to see city lights. You won't be disappointed. This is also a famous spot to watch super moons.

Spectacular views of the Space Needle, Rainier mountain and the sunset! Also a good idea to watch the New Year fireworks from. A very pleasant way to spend an evening in good weather.

This is easily the best viewpoint in the entire city. I would recommend everyone visiting Seattle to come here at least once to get an amazing view of the skyline, the space needle, Mount Rainier, and the harbor. The only thing I would say, is that it is an absolute track to get up there on foot or by Bike. The hill is massive And I would definitely recommend driving or taking a bus up there. Absolutely speechless with the view! There are a lot of tourists there sometimes depending on the day and the weather, but it is definitely worth it!

Kerry Park is undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking parks in Seattle. Nestled on the south slope of Queen Anne Hill, it offers an unparalleled panoramic view of the city's skyline, including the iconic Space Needle and the majestic Mount Rainier in the background. The park itself is beautifully maintained and always clean. It's a relatively small park, but it offers plenty of seating options, from benches to grassy areas, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the captivating scenery. The landscaping is well-kept, with vibrant flowers and shrubs adding an extra touch of beauty to the park. The highlight of Kerry Park, of course, is the viewpoint. As you step off the streets and onto the observation deck, your eyes are immediately drawn to the stunning cityscape that unfolds before you. The Space Needle stands tall, creating a perfect frame for the dazzling downtown buildings that seem to touch the sky. As the sun sets, the lights come alive, turning this panorama into an enchanting cityscape. It's an absolute joy to watch the city transition from day to night. Whether you're a local or a tourist, Kerry Park is a must-visit destination. It's the perfect spot for taking photos, especially for capturing the iconic Seattle skyline. The viewpoint is also an excellent place for romantic dates, picnics, or simply quiet contemplation. On a clear day, you can even spot Mount Rainier in the distance, adding a touch of natural beauty to the urban landscape. One thing to note is that Kerry Park can get crowded, especially during popular times like summer weekends or special events. However, even with the crowds, the atmosphere remains pleasant, and the view is worth the visit. It's recommended to arrive early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the busiest times. Overall, Kerry Park is an absolute gem in Seattle. Its breathtaking views, well-maintained surroundings, and convenient location make it a top-notch destination for anyone seeking beauty and tranquility in the heart of the city. Whether you're a local or a tourist, be sure to make a trip to this park, as it promises to provide an unforgettable experience.

Great skyline viewpoint of Seattle for free. The weather is important but on clear day its very beautiful. Its difficult to find parking spot but finally with patience its available. Great place to visit in Seattle, highly recommended.

Most people know about Kerry Park which is one of the best places to capture beautiful skyline photos of Seattle. It’s a tiny little park in a nice neighborhood surrounded by beautiful homes. It’s located uphill from downtown Seattle, so it’s a big haul up if you’re planning to walk. Easiest way is to drive here.

Beautiful views, and the best place to view Seattle skyline. The best time to visit is about 1 hr before sunset and wait couple of hours until it becomes dark. On a clear day the mount Rainier is visible and creates a nice scenery as the light fades away.

What a hidden beautiful breathtaking view up on Queen Anne Hill! You get the perfect view of the Space needle, Downtown Seattle, the port/sound, ferris wheel and Mount Rainier all in one glimpse! Highly recommend checking this beautiful park out. It's nestled in a residential area and parking wasn't difficult as there's plenty of street parking. Definitely check this out if you want to overlook the city!

Great views of the city and the Space Needle with Mount Rainier in the background! I wish it had been a clearer day out when I visited, however, it was still the best view I had during my visit to Seattle. I took public transportation from Pike Place Market area. It was cheap and easy, but like the rest of Seattle it had a weird blend of homelessness and rundown feeling immediately next to beauty, art and mansion-like houses. I thought I was in the ghetto and I turned the corner and saw a beautiful historic looking home! It's also a short walk from here to the Space Needle.

Kerry Park is overrated. Yes it's got a really nice, 5-star view but that is it. It doesn't have anything else to offer. It's small, it's far from fun, bustling local life, and it's always packed with tourists staying for too long taking pictures. That said, I definitely enjoy stopping by once in a while on a clear day. Around sunrise or sunset time, the view is simply marvelous.

Awesome spot to make a quick 10 minute stop or so if you're just wanting to take in the views. They had a playground if you and a small little baseball field if you wanted to spend more time at the park with the kids. Limited parking but was easy to find a spot on a rainy Monday.

A spectacular place to watch the sunset, sunrise and have bird's view of Seattle that includes Space Needle, Mount Rainier, The Giant Wheel and Elliott Bay( all in one frame). The park is really nice but is always mostly packed with people. The park is not that big and there's not many benches or places to sit and enjoy the scenic beauty.Yet it's really a must visit place in Seattle.

We were visiting Seattle, and stopped by here to watch the sunset view. Its is more like a roadside view rather than a park. There are a few benches. It was just gorgeous to see everything from the space needle to Mount Rainier. Very crowded and there was some engagement going on. Parking can get very difficult especially on weekends, we managed to get a spot on the street.

Great park! Small park area with tons of easy street parking. Definitely recommend for any first time Seattle visitors. Has a great view of town and on a clear day one could see even Mt Rainier! Dog friendly walking area and an accessible playground/open area for kids to run amok. However didn’t see restrooms nearby.

Beautiful view of skyline. Sunset here is really beautiful (I liked view from  Dr. Jose Rizal Park also, may be better as you can see moving vehicles also there, but can't see space needle from there, But can see great wheel and stadiums nicely). Morning or evening can sit there and relax with nice wind and view. More crowded during sunset. You can park the car on street (avoid gates) may be park few feets away and walk here. Nice neighborhood.

This park/viewpoint was on my todo list while in Seattle for the weekend & the scenery did not disappoint! Such a stunning skyline view of the city! Went to see the Meredith Grey intern house & found out this park was right around the corner, so 2 for 1 when it came to parking! What a perfect end to our weekend.

Fantastic views. Not far from the center of the city. I would need to be in top physical condition to walk it from city center so keep that in mind if you want to hike. A ride is most desirable if you ask me. Nice park for the views of Seattle and the port as well as several islands. A for sure place to visit.

The view of downtown Seattle's skyline and harbor from this park does not disappoint. Best thing is it's free to visit. There's free street parking as well (first come, first served). Just be patient if you don't get a spot immediately since people don't linger after taking photos, owing to the lack of tourist amenities.

Lovely view, but as far as parks go this is fairly limited in its amenities. Just a rectangular stretch of grass along a neighborhood road. Nice place to bring a visitor, but there are better parks in Seattle. There is a water fountain for the thirsty and there are some benches for tired legs. For those seeking a more unique experience and the opportunity to scuttle about a winding path, I recommend Bhy Kracke Park just down the road for a quiet morning sunrise.

Amazing spot to catch cityscapes of downtown Seattle and the bay. Be prepared for crowds and street only parking. For sunsets get there early or you may miss it finding a place to park and then a spot to take pictures from. Above all remember to be patient and kind.

Kerry park is great for sight seeing and must stop for tourist. So, Take your friends, family and dogs and have a great time enjoying the view and fresh air. Do check the weather prior visiting as you might find the rainy city not in your favor. But otherwise you will enjoy a spectacular view of the downtown. Have fun!

Picture perfect views just a few minutes away from the city! Kerry park doesn't disappoint. Parking is usually available (or I just haven't gone at peak hours). The Seattle skyline is beautiful at night, and can get a view of Mt Rainier on a clear day!

Fantastic view of the Seattle skyline! Underrated and quiet little overlook of the city and waterside with beautiful views! We happened to get a day that wasn't too cloudy and afforded breathtaking views! Adequate roadside parallel parking available! Great place to take photos to capture quintessential Seattle memories or just sit and watch the boats come and go.

Very good views on a good day. But be prepared to walk and climb. Nice photos during sunset since sun will be on you when you are taking photos with Mount Rainier and Space Needle in the background. Worth trying whole you are visiting the Science museum and Space needle.

Great views of the city & mountains (we went of a very clear day), but so so many people. Hard to take a picture without 5 million people in it. We found street parking but the roads are very steep and are pretty tight. Keep that in mind. Deff worth going to!

  • 5/5 Kay Kiss P. 2 years ago on Google
Absolutely beautiful little Green-space park with an incredible view of the city and water. Was very easy to find parking on the roadway on a Friday afternoon. Stopped at a coffee shop up the street, sat on one of the benches there and enjoyed all the sights.

If you ever wanted to live in a postcard, this your chance. It is impossibly easy to enjoy the skyline from Kerry Park. On a clear day in the west, the skyline glows. Expect a large crowd on any night but especially the weekend. Parking is shockingly easy and ample nearby. Arrive a bit before sunset and then stay a while to enjoy the buildings lighting up at night!

  • 5/5 Andrew K. 2 years ago on Google
Great view of the city. Parking can be tricky. There were a decent number of people when we were there, but it was spacious enough to not feel crowded. Definitely a good place to go to on a nice day when the weather is good.

The secret spot of awesome views of Seattle. Amazing sunset colors. If you are a photographer, this is the spot. But there is more. It is also a relaxing location. Nice place for couples wanting to do the perfect selfie

  • 5/5 Alan V. 2 years ago on Google
The best possible view of Seattle you can get for free!!!. You can easily see the Space Needle, the Great wheel and also Mount Rainier (if it is not cloudy). Best place to take a picture of yourselves with Seattle in the background, especially for tourists. You can also see the port and other tall iconic buildings in Seattle.

  • 5/5 Lorena S. 2 years ago on Google
Kerry park has some of the best views in the state. It’s my favorite park in Seattle. Better views than if you are standing in the space needle itself. I like to go late at around sunset to see both views of day and night. You can usually see Mt rainier in the back when it’s not cloudy. Walk near by and see the interns house from greys anatomy.

  • 5/5 Wilson T. 5 months ago on Google
TLDR: free and gorgeous views of Seattle! Take a brief but short hike up to Kerry park and join everyone else in seeing a beautiful skyline of Seattle for free! Highly recommended though a bit hilly or have to traverse some stairs to arrive unless you’re driving. Highly recommended

  • 5/5 Ibrahim A. 2 years ago on Google
Such a lovely place. Along with Gas Works Park, the best place to see the Seattle skyline. It is the best place to observe Mount Rainier-Seattle view though I have yet to see it. Parking can be challenging as it is located in a quiet neighborhood. It is better to take the bus and walk a few hundred feet.

A must tourist spot for a better view of space needle and the entire city. Bonus view was the Bay. Take a short walk towards the other viewpoint to see the Magnolia Bridge. Worth a visit!! Will recommend Kerry Park to more people

  • 5/5 Christine 10 months ago on Google
It is a very large and beautiful park. It is recommended to study the map and parking information in advance. Otherwise, just like us, when you walk to the leg pain, although the beautiful scenery will relieve the leg pain, this is not the case for the elderly. It is strongly recommended for the elderly and children to stay on the sidelines It's a pity that we didn't visit the rose garden because we were too tired to visit the scenic spots while changing the parking position

  • 5/5 Locale C. 8 months ago on Google
Kerry Park is an absolute must-visit for both locals and tourists alike. It offers a stunning vantage point to behold the captivating Seattle skyline and panoramic views that will leave you in awe. One notable aspect is how well-maintained the park is; it’s impeccably clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere for visitors. However, it’s important to note that the parking situation can be a bit challenging. Street parking is the only option, but the silver lining is that it’s free. Just be prepared for the hunt as it can be hard to find a spot, especially during busy times. The real magic happens during sunset, making it the perfect spot for a picturesque evening picnic. The views are second to none, making it an ideal backdrop for memorable photos. Kerry Park is a true gem that promises a memorable experience for anyone seeking to capture the essence of Seattle’s skyline. Just be patient when it comes to parking, and you’re in for an unforgettable visit!

If you get the chance to stop here, I highly suggest you check it out as this is by far the best view of Seattle you’ll get to see on a clear day! You can see Mount Rainier in the background at the right time of the day! I recommend taking a Lyft up here as it can be a good walk up the hills to here but the walk down isn’t too bad! Great place to spend some time!

It pays to talk to your uber driver! Great views of the entire city and bay. Not crowded and cost nothing. Great photo opportunity.

It’s arguably the best spot in Seattle to see the city in its full glory. Easily accessible by bus (no 2), and there are some limited street parking available. You can see the city skyline with Mt rainier in the background during a clear day. Sunset is probably the best time of the day to see this park.

  • 5/5 K S. 1 year ago on Google
Day or night has a great view of the city! Both times I’ve been It was very crowded worth it to get the perfect horizon shot. Perfect for a formal shoot (last time people were there for homecoming photos at night!).

  • 5/5 Brian A. 9 months ago on Google
One of the most iconic parks in Seattle to get a view of the city, port, and on a clear day, Mt. Rainier! It’s little, yet relaxing. I believe it was put on the national/world map when Grey’s Anatomy continually aired it on the show. A few benches to have a seat. Parking is always tight around here so best bet is street parking in the neighborhood next to it. Be mindful of the neighbors. But yes, if you’re thinking about going to it, think no more. It’s worth trip to Kerry Park to catch the great views!

  • 5/5 Maria Livia C. 11 months ago on Google
Went here after my 10 hours flight trying to keep busy so I don't fall asleep. And let me tell you, it was quite an adventure walking up the steep hill to get there. Once you make it the view is amazing! I was surprised by how small the park is, but it's in a very pretty neighbourhood with beautiful houses. Make sure you explore the area as well - not much else to do there.

  • 4/5 Anil K. 11 months ago on Google
It's just a small roadside overlook, instead of a park I would say. It only has a few benches and it's quite small. However, it has the best skyline to take pictures with the Space Needle! Suggested for a visit at night for an amazing view of Seattle in lights.

Great lookout point to see downtown Seattle and Mount Rainier (weather permitting). The parking was a little difficult on the park was a lot smaller than I expected. Great place for pictures and maybe being long some lunch yo enjoy the view.
