This is a brand new favorite of ours! Our usual spot was closed on Sunday so we took a look around and found RnR - I’m glad we did! It’s a cute, little place with an individualized feel but sufficiently spacious. Staff was awesome and perfectly timed, absolutely no complaints. Food was great: delicious and fairly priced. Sake was fruity and smooth. Appetizers and sushi were not bad by any means but didn’t blow us away - to reiterate, definitely still tasty. Last but not least, the curry we tried was INCREDIBLE. This will definitely be our go-to curry spot for the coming years!

2022.05.22 — Had a great lunch at Rice N Roll Bistro. It has a limited space inside. The sushi bar has stools and purse hangars which is nice. Nice modern decor inside. Our group ordered the spicy edamame, miso soup, seaweed salad, and house salad with ginger dressing. All of which were delicious. Particularly fond of the spicy edamame myself. No surprises with the starters and all tasty. We ordered a nice big plate of sushi rolls. Had a spicy tuna and rainbow roll as basic go to’s. Good fresh tasty ingredients. The real fun was the signature rolls. Ordered the Dragon, East Town Monster, Dancing on the Moon, and Lake Front signature rolls as the main treats. My personal favorite was the Dragon roll. The shrimp tempura middle gives good texture and crunch. Decided to finish with some deserts. Chocolate mousse cake and the seasonal mango sticky rice. Between the small space, courteous staff, modern decor and the great sushi it’s a great place for your favorite Asian cuisine. Give it a try. You will find a new favorite sushi place for your friends and family to enjoy.

Had a wonderful meal here! I got the lunch special which is a great deal. Service was friendly. Sushi and miso soup were delicious. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

The food was good I got the sense our server had somewhere better to be. It’s gotta be a great place if you live in the area. Parking wasn’t fun. Glad I’d try it, would try other places before going back.

For appetizers the spicy edamame and crab rangoon were a hit. For sushi, I got the spider roll and the awesome roll and the awesome roll lived up to its name (the spider roll was great too). The house sake was delicious and affordable. On top of amazing food, the service was also super great! I will definitely be back!

I stopped by for lunch and had the drunken noodles with beef - it was so delicious I can’t even begin to explain it! Spicy and savory, the noodles were perfectly cooked and not soggy like in other Thai places, delicious food and great indoor/outdoor seating. Would definitely stop by again!! 😋😋😋

I wasn't impressed with the food. The crab rangoons were weird, and the crab meat tasted old. Not inedible, but not particularly enjoyable either. Same with the crab in the Classy Cali roll. Some of the sashimi I had was alright, but the super white tuna was awful. Very clearly frozen and also tasted like it was about to go bad. I did enjoy the spicy tuna roll - I like that they don't use spicy mayo in it. And the tom kha was good. The wasabi, though, was soooo weak lol like I know sushi places hardly ever use real wasabi but this didn't even taste like fake wasabi. It was just a grainy, green, flavorless paste. I should be calling an ambulance after putting this much wasabi on a sushi roll. It was literally like 1/3 of the wad they served me in this photo lol but my mouth wasn't even burning afterwards. Also, one of the pairs of chopsticks they gave us was rotting. Which I guess is not necessarily their fault, but it was still an off-putting way to start the meal. And less forgivable with all other things considered. I received prompt and friendly service.

Highly recommend Rice N Roll! Have had excellent food here multiple times. You can't really go wrong with anything. The Tom Kha is the best I've had in Milwaukee!

Holy smokes I haven’t stopped thinking about this sushi! First of all, the staff was super accommodating and let us sit outside while I waited for someone in my party to join. Secondly, this is the best most mouth-watering sushi I’ve ever had!!! A round of applause!!

Fye. Fire. Fire. Food: green curry is my favorite. The flavor hits like none other. All of the veggies working together makes for a great, filling, but healthy dynamic. Deep flavor and some spice. Their sushi rolls with the fish on the outside have the best mouth feel by far. And - drunken noodles? Sheeesh, you can never go wrong. Sooo much flavor. But maybe that’s just bc your boy was a lil hungover. Service: 10/10. Kind as hell, knowledgeable, and super friendly. Y’all rock w your great staff. Environment: nothing special, but the food is so good that you’ll be focused on that. And if that’s not good enough, then come with good company, duh. Environment not being snazzy was no biggy. Parking may get dicey sometimes but it’ll work out finding street parking within 1-3 blocks.

Best sushi in Milwaukee! It's cool to sit at the sushi bar and watch the magic! It was a little slow, but they brought us edamame on the house as an apology. The loveis roll was amazing. We also liked the awesome roll and the spicy salmon roll. Highly recommend!

We ordered the chicken satay, the green harbor, and the khaosoy. The flavors just EXPLODED. Absolutely phenomenal taste and appealing presentation. The only thing that we will change for next time is to get chili paste on the side, because my green harbor was spicier than his khaosoy that he ordered extra spicy.

This is our 5th visit. Every bite we have had has been amazing. The rolls have super fresh ingredients and the flavor combos are delicious. The Mantou appetizer is a must have! The hostess asked what our favorite rolls are, and we listed all 12 or so we have tried! Each one is so unique, there is a flavor profile for everyone! The rice dishes that I have seen come out of the kitchen look amazing as well.

Food was super great! started eating it then tried to take pictures. Wish we would have taken the pictures first. Amazing; best sushi and Thai food I have had in a long time.

This was my first time having dinner here and I am blown away by the quality and taste of the food. I got the Milwaukee roll and it was easily the best sushi I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was really great as well with hip music and comfortable lighting. What a fantastic restaurant with talented sushi chefs and great service. Would recommend 10/10!!

A neighborhood staple but we are so spoiled because it is our favorite sushi restaurant as well! Great dinner entrees, appetizers, lunch, etc. but the sushi is just amazing!!! They also have a great drink menu and introduce specials that are worth trying. DEF come for lunch and dinner! Staff is amazing, always friendly and helpful!

This was my first time here. It is a wonderful restaurant with amazing food. I had the Bunko Box special which was a great value option. All of the sushi we got was excellent.

Prompt, professional and friendly service, delicious sushi, tasty Thai and Poke. We were very impressed with our first visit to this gem of a restaurant. We will definitely go back. The outdoor patio is very nice too. They take safety seriously as our outdoor table was wiped down when we sat, and staff were all wearing masks which instills an extra measure of confidence especially when eating raw food. Great job Rice N Roll!

This place was SO GOOD! We got a large sushi platter with an excellent variety and it was seriously some of the best sushi we've ever had. The service was fast and it came recommend by some locals; definitely did not disappoint!

I can't say enough about this amazing amazing spot. We only got the crab Rangoons and the pot stickers but the soy sauce for the stickers was out of this world and the crab Rangoons were hands down the BEST I've ever had in my 35 years on this planet. We had a bottle of saki as well and it was spectacular. Best saki I have ever had as well. It was effing delicious. The whole meal was more than enough to convince me to come back and try the entrees. And the service was really great. Our waitress was very sweet and so great. Hands down five stars. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Absolutely recommend this Milwaukee Gem!

So delicious every time. Don't worry about the price because you'll get a plentiful serving. Probably the most tofu I've got in a dish & it was evenly dispersed & well marinated so it didn't feel like an afterthought.
