It's a shame to get such terrible India food at an Indian restaurant. For god's sake please cook "authentic" Indian food otherwise non-Indian origin people might never know how delicious an Indian food could be. Also, explain to yourself how would a food without salt tastes like! Pathetic choice for order. Utterly disappointed!

Big fan of this place. They give a lot of high quality food which is nice, a lot of places in Boulder will charge a similar amount and give half the food. I go here about once a week. I'm a big fan of the lamb biryani, which comes with a raita. I order a large raita on the side. I can't handle spice too well, but the mild is fine for me.

My Indian friend said the Chicken Korma was the best curry he’s had in Boulder. It was delicious. Chicken breast cooked to perfection, which is hard to get right. The Tandoori Chicken was also incredible! And a HUGE portion. This place is worth the price. Note: we got both at 3/5 spiciness and it was barely spicy at all to me. So they’re definitely catering to the Caucasian palate. Go for 5/5 if you want spice.

Tiffins was one of my favorite places to eat and I'm sure will be again when the king permits it. Everything is always clean, neatly presented, and delicious. Adding naan to a lunch meal is disturbingly cheap for the amount that you get.

Food is great ..service makes it not worth it. She is so impatient! I asked for a chicken curry with 2 sides... she said, "you're so confusing! They are all curries!" Sorry!!!! That was my 3rd time, and she's always super impatient and rude.

I used to love the place … the dal makhani and paneer masala had a uniquely authentic Punjabi flavor. I recently visited them a few weeks ago, and I can’t recognize the food. It was very generic and bastardized. They have lost the authentic touch they once had.

A nice Indian restaurant near the university. We visited this place on our way to Estes park. The portions are huge and the taste is good. There are many vegetarian options. The chai here is amazing and must have. Service is decent.

Sadly I am giving 2 stars to Tiffin today due the unruly customer service of the front desk cashier. We have been to this place so many times and we immediately noticed the change. We bought $35.00 dollars worth of food and ate there. Since we had a little child with us we asked another bit of "ritha" which is about 2tbs of runny yoghurt. It did not come to the table until to the end of the dinner and the cashier said we had to pay. I went to pay for it and cashier asked $2.12 for it (which is very high for 2 table spoon of yoghurt) and I gave a $5.00 bill and cashier said he did not have change to give me back. Since this was a very simple purchase I asked him if he would take $2.00 that I had in my hand. Then he said "Jesus" can you pay with a card? When I asked that guy if the management has been changed he said "no same management". Being a long time customer this is extremely poor customer service of that front line person. We do not deserve this and we will no longer spend money in this place. Please teach this rude cashier how to serve their customers with courtesy so people will come back.

I go here probably twice a week and never get tired of it! I get a lot of Indian food and their saag is really great here and naan. Very flavorful samosas as well! One of the best, was so happy to find them.

Tried this place last night and will definitely be ordering again. Chicken Korma, Saag Paneer and Curry Lamb were all nuanced and nice portion sizes. What made me try this place was the availability of the Masala Dosa and I was very happy with it. Great value and is now my go to for Indian in Boulder.

Order a spicy dish, wasn’t prepared spicy, was given a chutney and told to make it spicy myself. This is after much deliberation, cooks getting up from their break table, conversations had behind closed doors. So I paid top dollar to cook my own meal. They raised their prices and lowered their service. Don’t see why I would come back here ever again.

Always super delicious and pretty fast, and really nice people work there. Been ordering from here every once in a while for about 3 years and it's always good! The chicken korma is the best.

The lunch special is a great deal, and the food is phenomenal. However, they’ve been exceptionally slow recently. Be prepared to wait 30 minutes at least for takeout orders. I love that they’re serving lots of customers, but the wait times are almost too much.

Everything was amazing, lamb korma and chicken masala. Naan was also great!! Dosa was not great, sambar and chutney were average.

Tasty Indian food in a strip mall. Counter ordering. I got chicken masala, a mango lassi, and a masala dosa. Got super full on all those things (the dosa is enough on its own or as a shared appetizer)but was happy to try all those things. Will definitely be back.

While the food is pretty good, expect to pay close to $5 more for nana, the flatbread that usually comes with curries etc in most middle eastern restaurants. an order of Masala at $17

We LOVE Tiffins!! It’s the best Indian food in Colorado. We’re so happy to have a South Indian option here. Kind service and ample food. We especially like the masala dosa, Chana saag and having dairy-free as an option. Thank you Tiffins!

Gave this place a try for MHAFW, did not disappoint! Flavor was delicious, that Masala Dosa is my new favorite thing. A little pricey but worth the pretty penny imo!

To go orders are never, ever ready on time. When you arrive they tell your order will be ready in “5 to 10 minutes”. So, you wait 10+ minutes and it’s still not ready. Then they sheepishly say “oh, 5-10 minutes“, blank faced like they didn’t say that 10 fu(king minutes ago. This is every time I have gone in there. DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE!!!!!

This is one of our go-to places for take out. Chicken tikka masala (and kabob), as well as the vegetable biryani are excellent.

Only good thing is goat curry but become so expensive now, tea is $5. Who sell chai for $5 , not even the top restaurent in boulder. Never going back.

Ordered take out from this place. Idli was so pathetic, entirely hard like a stone. They didn’t serve it with any chutney instead gave me raita. Biryani was entirely cold & equally bad. Save your money and dont money order from here!

I would give four and a half Stars if Google allowed me. In a strip mall and an unassuming space, Tiffins India Cafe is a little gem. I had naan bread, chole, saag and dhal with rice. The only reason they are not getting five stars is that the rice was a tad bit mushy. The chole had a lovely onion gravy and flavorful spices, and the saag was also good. Everything was served piping hot. The hostess gave me chai plus a refill even though I remembered only after I had paid for my meal that I wanted to add chai to it! I will be back.

I moved to Boulder in 2016 and this was the first restaurant we tried. We had visited New York city for a week just before coming to Boulder and were desperate for some simple and authentic Indian meal. We ate daal and rice and they were just that - simple and authentic. Since then, we have trusted Tiffins to provide us with simple yet tasty meals. I love their lunch specials especially rice mixed with combinations of daal, chole, or saag. We have also tried the South Indian items from their menu and they have been delicious. There is a category of food called chat which I miss a lot and have not found in Boulder and if I have, it has not been that great. But I love Tiffins' samosa chat. I can only hope that they also explore this category further ;) I should note that the place is pretty casual and I have only had pleasant interactions with everyone behind the counter.

Delicious—the veggie korma is probably my favorite meal I’ve had at any restaurant. I come here too much. I recommend this place to anyone who comes through boulder.

My first time at Tiffin’s after packing up my CU first year student. Excellent food and awesome family run restaurant. Great, fresh flavors. Must try!

Amazing Indian place in boulder area. Amazing food and cooperative staff members. Manisha at the front desk was very kind and pleasant. Dosa and chicken tikka masala had just the right amount of spice. Perfect!! Must go…

Everything was very bland on my last visit. Curry Chicken had zero spice and the soup I got was a joke. All broth,no veggies. Tika Marsala is decent. I’ll prob go elsewhere next time.
