The restaurant was very clean and has nice ambiance. The food was okay. My husband was not satisfied with his burger and fries. The fries came out cold and hard as a rock and the burger was small. The mac and cheese and baby back ribs were very good. My daughter liked her pulled pork covered tots, the only down fall was the cheese queso was cold. Overall, it was okay. I would not go out of my way to eat here but might if in the area. It could have just been an off night.

First, our server was amazing! I would give her 5 stars! First time at the Johnson City location... tomato and cucumber salad was very good...the chicken...a BIG NO! We have gone to the Bristol location and it was HORRIBLE! We were hoping the JC location would be better. That was a big NO! Fried chicken was undercooked and friend's food was cold. Would not recommend.

Wow, great BBQ and good beer. Smoke house and brewery. For food I had brisket and sausage, collard greens and fried okra. For beer I had Thunder Pig IPA. The whole experience was amazing, great service, cool venue with good food and good drink. Will definitely be back

This was amazing!! Strive staff was friendly and attentive. Ghe food was amazing!! HIGHLY suggest the pulled pork and their BBQ sauce is *chef's kiss* superb. Perfect in spice and sweetness.

My first time here and it has been great. Our waitress Murphy was super friendly and great at her job. I highly recommend coming out for a bite. The price isn’t bad and the sauces are great.

So google said this was a 58% match for me. Google sometimes I wonder about you. Thought you were commenting on my ex husband or something. Anyway this place, as it’s ratings suggests, is fantastic. To really experience the menu I did a 3 meat 3 side combo. Burnt ends ribs and pulled pork. Salmon is farmed. No amount of smoking will hide the food dye and dioxins. Will totally get it if you switch to wild. And I got dessert too. Note I’m a cancer doc. Besides eating smoked meat with reckless abandon I also eat dessert every day because you never know when you might wake up with a malignant bowel obstruction -never to eat again. Ok so about the meat….I think the burnt ends are actually BBQ angels and Jesus himself would have come down off his cross for this stuff. All served with a smile by the pleasant and efficient staff. Anyway I work and eat all over the country and this place is simply amazing.

In town for a convention for the weekend and stopped in for dinner on Friday evening. Food and service was SO good, we went back for an early dinner on Sunday on our way home!! Excellent wait staff with phenomenal BBQ dishes! I had the burnt ends meal with Mac and cheese and fried okra and it was delicious!! Nathan the manager is SUPER nice and stopped and talked with us on both visits! All the employees seem like one big family with each other and it's fun to watch! If you're ever in Johnson City Tennessee you CANNOT miss this place!!

Wow! First time trying this place out on a visit I had from Florida. This is the beefed up southern bbq version of Cracker Barrel. That’s the best way for me to put it. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and great food options. You can build your own plate choosing your choice of meats and sides. Beers are great too!

Mercy, this place was awesome! Our group shared several appetizers and every single one was absolutely delicious! Chopped brisket nachos, fried green tomatoes, cowboy cornbread skillet, candied black pepper bacon and roasted jalapeño queso. Then we had dinner!! The pulled pork, mac-n-cheese and pork belly collard greens were to die for! Huge portions and very reasonable prices. Cool building. Awesome service. Southern Craft gets an A+ for sure!

We had to wait over an hour to get a seat, but it was worth it. We had 5 people and we ordered the Butcher Block.. and we could not even finish it. The food was so good and the staff was great! This is definitely a must do again...but we need to bring more people to help us.

Country style setting venue, delicious beer, amazing food selection, and absolutely friendly staff! Mr. Nathan and Phil were awesome! We will definitely come back. Highly recommended!!!!

Pretty good beer selection. A lot of house brews and guest beers. Everything was good. Nothing stands out as amazing or terrible. But it was all pretty good. They also have daily alcohol and food specials. Ordered an appetizer and it was really good. The staff was really nice and attentive. Recommend for breweries in Johnson City.

I’m posting a 2nd review of this place because we had a fabulous dinner and another stellar breakfast here on our trip. If you are any where near this place go!!! You will not be disappointed.

Unique place in downtown Johnson City, alot of BBQ and smoked meat options to choose from, awesome appetizers, and decent pricing. The brisket is phenomenal and the in house bbq sauces are worthy of praise and mention. Highly recommended, staff is very friendly also

A perfect barbecue experience. I’ve recently been put on a strict diet so I wasn’t sure how I was gonna do with barbecue…. But the turkey delivered! There’s also chicken and salmon as well! They have something for everyone. The sides were superb and the sauces maybe the best I’ve ever had! Wonderful trip, gotta go back again and again.

Absolutely delicious! Brisket and Pulled pork have a deep rich smoky flavor. The appetizers are beyond any BBQ restaurant that I have ever been to! It is a must stop for BBQ lovers.

Some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. We dined at the Bristol location. The Killer B sandwich was amazing and the bark on the brisket was perfect. The shaved turkey was also delicious. We liked the Stoney Creek Original Sauce with a touch of Texas Tea mixed in. The service was excellent. We ended up dinning there twice in 2 days, it was that good!

I love this place for lunch. The brisket sandwich (Killer B) is delicious. Prices are good. Service is always outstanding.

Fly fishing guide highly recommended this place. Waiter, Ben was awesome. Food can be really good but the wait staff can make or break a meal. Ben made it. Never had to ask for anything. Food was delicious. Sides were tasty. Called Leslie over to complement her staff. Very nice. Will be back.

The hostess let me know that there was 45 minutes wait for a table (busy Sunday night!) but thankfully, there were a few open seats at the bar. I got the one in the corner and managed to crank out a Yelp review while resting after 250 miles of driving this afternoon. Warm service from the bartender and so I decided that a beer and an appetizer would be dinner tonight. I chose the kolsch and the fried pickles. The beer was cold and crisp. Delicious. The pickles came out hot and an unusual configuration. I've had spear and rings before but these pickles were thin like shaved and in a tasty spicy batter. Served with a big bowl of a spicy and tangy dip, it was pretty darned awesome. And cheap! I landed in time for the beer special so my meal was under $15. A bargain! There is a large parking lot adjacent and I had no trouble finding space for the Sprinter van.

Omg this place is a must go! Brian our waiter was absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough great words about him. But the food is so delicious best BBQ that I’ve had in a long time. And Brian stayed on top of everything.

The food was pretty good. The staff was pretty slow to get drinks and refills. The food was high quality and tastes good. Price was pretty good all things.

This was amazing BBQ. We happened to go on a very busy night with multiple large parties. We were sat quickly with about a 10 minute wait. Our server was awesome. Tall guy with curly hair. He was upfront with us about the large parties he was also taking care of but you never would have known he was so busy. Dinner was fabulous. I had ribs that were perfect and my wife had a fried chicken sandwich which she loved. Great atmosphere as well. I highly recommend checking this place out.

I really enjoyed my meal here. I wish a place like this was in my area of S FL. I had the Tennessee Trio with an appetizer of fried pickles. I picked the brisket, burnt ends, smoked pork belly and a side of their house made smoked sausage. My sides were collard greens and tomato with cucumber salad and coleslaw. The brisket was slightly dry but the other meats were amazing. The burnt ends just melted in my mouth, the sausage was cooked perfectly and the pork belly was just devine!

A true 5 star restaurant if I've ever seen one. Would give more if I could. The food was unreal, easily the best BBQ place I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of them. Every single item I tried had incredible flavor depth, while still maintaining a classic southern feel that would please anybody's southern grandparents. The meat was all cooked perfectly and was juicy, tender, and well seasoned. The cowboy cornbread skillet specifically just blew me away. The atmosphere was stellar as well, super clean environment and friendly, attentive staff. It's also rare that the music playing catches my attention but if you like good modern country (Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, etc.) you will love sitting down and having a meal here. Overall just an amazing experience and probably my new favorite restaurant.

Peter was our server and was wonderful. The baked beans were very thick and didn't have the usual brown sugar taste. The baby back ribs were tender and delicious
