I never really knew what Mead was until I visited Blom and wow, it is delicious!! There are so many unique mead flavors and also craft ciders. My favorite is the Pear Ginger cider and my husband always orders the Rhubarb mead. But recently we discovered their Switchel (non-alcoholic vinegar and honey soda, sounds weird but so yummy!) and the kids LOVE this super refreshing/rehydrating drink. Nice casual picnic tables outside are perfect for hanging out after an afternoon walking around Ann Arbor.

I didn’t know I loved mead until I found Bløm!! A top spot for me in Ann Arbor since moving here in 2009. Their products are totally unique, delicious, and made with a lot of thought and care. The mead is refreshing…But it warms you up. And feels like flowers and cuddly bees, and fruit and bubbles. The owners are community-oriented. Fantastic atmosphere inside (and on the patio) - they host all sorts of fun events like trivia and board game nights. Just good vibes all around and the mead is freaking good. Go and try out a flight, you’ll feel happy, bright, and bubbly!!

Not quite my favorite spot to get some mead in Michigan, but it does the job very well. Great, natural flavors set within a lovely, minimalist interior. I usually prefer sweeter meads, but I would recommend some of the drier, tart options here. My guest and I weren't fans of the pear ginger cider. I'd definitely stop by again.

Opted for the greenhouse experience on a chilly night. After the warm mead hit my bones, it was go time. Always a great experience here. The owner is super chill and accommodating.

Stopped in on an afternoon brewey trek. Busy but found seats at the bar, which we prefer. Service was quick. Hubsy got a flight, I opted for Hot Mulled Mead, very similar to Glögg. Hubsy is eyeing up the cheese trays.

My partner and I alway passed this place, and we always wanted to try it. We thought it would be like any other brewery, but to our pleasant surprise, we were welcomed with not only the best mead we’ve ever tasted, but also a warm atmosphere and wonderful service. We got the flight and cheese board. And we loved all of it! Needless to say we will be returning soon!!!

I enjoyed my dry cider, and I love what they are doing with local musicians! What a wonderful way to build community. Bløm was also playing Fantastic Mr. Fox when I entered-- this place knows how to make a chill & engaging space.

Sandwich was delicious! I got the #1 14inch. Before I took a pic I had already eaten half...that darn good! Great customer service too.

Just stopped in to check it out ended up doing a big flight and walking out with a 4 pack and a crowler. They do a really good job and definitely have something for everyone.

About a week ago I visited blom for the first time. I like mead and heard lots of great things about the drinks offered, and take no pleasure in leaving a negative review. The mead was great, and thbgge staff was very friendly. I ordered a flight which was very reasonably priced, and all 4 of the meads tasted great, were larger than expected, and came on a cute tray. My issue is only with the venue. The place was lit with *very* bright fluorescent lights despite there being a movie projected on the back wall. The seating was unnecessarily uncomfortable and awkward and the place echoed so much that just a few people speaking at a normal volume sounded like a crowded bar. Even thought i liked the mead and the staff, as long as the venue remains an assault on the senses I will have to skip coming back.

There are so many great things about Bløm. Where do I even start? They make great session mead with unique flavors. They use Michigan farmers and growers to make that wonderful stuff. The people of Bløm are inclusive and very community oriented. They often host local bakers and makers so that you can grab grub and goodies while you enjoy your drink. Also, there are game nights, comedy nights, movie nights, pop-ups such as wreath making, cookie decorating, etc... This place is just really cool and so are the people.

I visited with my mom as a special outing. We got a Little Flight, cheese sampler, and Whitefish Pate. The portions were on the small side, but perfect for the amount of flavor packed in! The cheeses were all locally sourced and came with a variety of 4 chocolates, cherry preserves, rosemary crackers and a house-made sauerkraut.

Yummy Cider and Mead options, enjoyed their variety quite a bit. Went here for trivia, which was fun, and liked that they had a movie playing as well. Did not love how bright it is inside, it could do with more relaxed lighting especially later at night. The staff was great with helping to choose from some of their new meads and ciders. The food was okay, nothing big but a nice pallet cleanser if you're there for a few hours.

I've come here a few times with my friends and it's always a good time. Very chill vibe, sometimes they have cool stuff playing on the projector, and they have board games you can play! Found one of my favorite board games just by trying it once here. The drinks are great and the staff are always friendly!

I've lived in Ann Arbor for almost a year and this was my first time here! Definitely planning to come back. The space is amazing, lots of seating and there are boardgames too! There's a list of events hosted at Blom, my favorite: the teacher happy hour and yoga session which I plan to return for (yoga, yay). Tried the build your own flight - included: the Rhubarb Mead, Standard Mead, Apple Cyser, and the Pear Ginger Cider. All were good! I did sample the Stone Fruit Coriander and Raspberry Mead before heading out and those were definitely my favorite!! Highly recommend stopping by if you are ever in Ann Arbor! Oh and the employees are great and take great pictures! :)

Our non-profit, Lori's Hands, hosted a fundraising event at Bløm last week. They were absolutely fantastic to work with! The food, drinks, and atmosphere was absolutely perfect for the 25 guests we hosted. Lauren, one of Bløm's owners, was incredibly detail-oriented, punctual, and helpful from start to finish. We are so grateful to have held our event here, and look forward to hosting more in the future! I can't say enough about how great of a spot this is.

I am not a huge fan of mead, but Blom Mead has a slightly different take on mead! It’s a little more bubbly and I loved them all! I enjoyed whitefish dip snack with my drinks. They had a big screen for football and sports to watch and a plethora of games you can take to your table to play. Definitely will be back next time we are in Ann Arbor.

Awesome meadery located in downtown Ann Arbor. Cool Paris oyster bar meets Apple Store feel that is welcoming, clean and bright. They focus on low alcohol (6% ABVish) meads that are easy to drink, yet suitably complex. This is a mead drinkers bar and someplace I could take the uninitiated. This is a must stop if you are mead fan. If you’re unsure if you’re a mead fan, stop anyway!

i had an event here a few weeks ago and it was a huge success. lauren made the event booking process seamless and handled everything perfectly. i wasn’t worried about the success of the event at all. i highly recommend hosting your event here.
