Consistently a good experience here. Portion sizes are always as expected and we've always had hot, tasty food! I highly recommend the cheese fries!

My dad brought me here for dinner. He was raving about this place and how he goes there frequently for lunch. We panicked when we pulled up and realized they close at 7p.m. they were so awesome! They welcomed us in and made us some incredibly messy, yummy roast beef poboys. So if you want a yummy dinner, I highly suggest this spot.

Literally gave us 2 burgers with the burger patty split in half down the middle. I couldn’t believe it, never have I seen anything like this in my life. My chicken on my poboy was also pink in the middle - had to throw it in the air fryer. I’m sure the owner/manager will come on here and say we should’ve made them aware, but it was a to-go order. We left with our food at 6:40 and they close at 7. By the time we got home, they were closed… $58 wasted.

Word of advice- get the large. Because the small was the saddest lil’ poboy you will ever see. Good flavors and the place is packed, so they must be doing something right. Will come back and try the muffuletta next time.

Bro, it's Rocco's - of course it was good😁. I've never had tea there that tastes like the dispensers weren't cleaned and there's some fermentation going on🤮. That ruins a whole meal; always fresh. Service was fast too even with a packed house🏃 Four stars only because .......well it isn't a five-star restaurant 😏

Michael is always welcoming and friendly, the food is fresh made to order and always exactly how you ordered it and expected to receive it. The Roast Beef is obviously the staple but all of the sandwiches and salads are amazing. I haven't tried anything I wouldn't order again. Great Job Roccos, a must stop if passing through B.R or live here and haven't had the pleasure of tasting this place yet.

Great Po boys and general unhealthy goodness. The kind of quick eats that are perfect for hearty lunches, hangovers, and comfort. I'm sure they have healthy options but do yourself a favor and load up the meat, cheese, and gravy. I come to Baton Rouge and new orleans every year to eat mostly and this was the only place I went to twice last trip. The downsides are the limited operating hours and the fried pickles really should be spears and not chips.

Rocco’s? More like slurp-o’s… Paid nearly 40 dollars for two poboys, it was drenched with Mayo. It’s like eating a Mayo smoothie. This place is absolutely disgusting.

I have say that I was a little underwhelmed and disappointed in my experience. Given all of the rave reviews I was really looking forward to a “great” PoBoy. Nice old-school restaurant/bar with counter service. I arrived before the lunch rush and decided on a half “grilled” Shrimp PoBoy. The young lady taking my order was not very receptive and placed my order as a whole sandwich. I just assumed they didn’t offer half sandwiches. The shrimp was barely cooked and appeared to be warmed in a pan… not grilled. The lettuce and tomatoes were ok and the bread was more of a soft loaf than a crisp French baguette. May need to give them a second chance and try something different. Just not impressed with the first impression.

Customer service fantastic, energetic, fast service and great food def plan on visiting again. Plenty of seating and a good sized bar area with a diverse variety. The interior decor has a relaxing feel very basic yet relaxing.

Awesome employees and great food. I ordered the muffaletta and it was fantastic. Will definitely be going back. They are really quick too so it's a great place to stop in for lunch.

We went on a Friday, for lunch. The place was packed! Still, the food came out pretty quick. We had a roast beef poboy, a shrimp poboy, sweet potato fries, and cheesy fries. 56 bucks. It's a little high, and I've had better shrimp poboys, but all in all we really enjoyed it and will go back. The roast beef poboy is really something special!

I had seen a lot of great reviews for this place so I figured I'd see for myself. I heard the Poboys were good and I asked two gentleman there who were behind me in line what to get and they said Poboy. So I got the mikes meatball poboy with a a substitution of fried pickles instead of fries and a drink. It cost me $26 and I was very disappointed with my meal. The price was ridiculous and I understand inflation and the market. I come from a family who Own a restaurant and four grocery stores. Maybe it was just a bad day for the chefs, but food just was not there today and no way a substitute of pickles should be $5. I Never write bad reviews, but I paid an excessive amount for a really poor effort. Never have I ever regretted paying for a meal before in my life and I have had plenty of "alright" meals, but this wasn't even a fair ball game when it comes to "you get what you pay for".

$5.25 for a beer is strip club prices. And had to get a corona since they didn't have stella, modello,or XX. $18 po boy with soggy lettuce and mushy tomatoes. Flavorless shrimp and catfish. Nice people and came highly recommended but no way I'd go there again.

Asked if it was home cooked roast beef for their poboy. Was told it was. Tasted just like I expected…. Manda Sliced Roast Beef. Former manager advised that it is Mandas Roast beef. Best place for a good roast beef poboy is “ Our Moms”

Rolling through back to Dallas & this was recommended by locals for Po Boys. Did not disappoint. Roast Beef was incredible. Shrimp, Meatball, Red Beans & Rice. All solid. Thank you!

RB Po boy has gone down. I've always felt like it was like home cooked roast beef, not deli beef & jar gravy. Today the beef was "OK", not deli, but ok. Gravy was NOT the gravy that went with home cooked roast. Meat & gravy was barely lukewarm. It took almost 30 minutes to get 1/2 poboy and onion strings. I understand inflation, but over $21 was definitely a "not again" moment. I used to look forward to eating there, not anymore.

It's been a while since I've been to Rocco's but the food and service were still great! I had the grilled chicken Ceasar salad and it was as good as the last time I had it. They busy as usual during lunch, but managed to keep up with the orders without an extended wait. Highly recommended !!

The shrimp poboy was amazing and the Gumbo was very delicious. Will definately come back on my next trip to Baton Rough.

This is a hidden gem and I love those, so I hate to let the secret out, but good things should be shared. The poboys and Muffalatas are delicious! They actually give you the amont of meats and fixings a New Orleans po boy should have, unlike most sandwich shops in town anymore! Thank you thank you!! And at fair prices!! The staff is always nice and wait time isnt bad. I keep going back for more.

Great little lunch stop for poboys and fries. The onion rings are awesome! Not the thick, standard battered, frozen bleh you get at most places. These are fresh cut, flour dipped and seasoned and fried fresh. Roast beef poboy is nicely loaded with meat and gravy and incredibly tasty. Table next to us had red beans and rice and they smelled good, will have to try that next time. Prices are not bank breakers either. I would highly recommend it for lunch.
