We tried Fridays for the first time this past weekend. It was amazing! The lady taking our order and serving food was so super sweet and even gave us some samples to try! We will definitely be coming back & would hands down recommend Fridays to anyone looking for great sea food, boils..... that southern style Cajun food!! I am not sure why this never posted... This review is 3 months old and we've been back about once every 2 weeks lol. AMAZING FOOD. Let me add... I was and have been a "Tejun" fan (still am), but this is my go to spot. My only regret is not finding Fridays sooner!

Great customer care,, food is delicious,, kid friendly,, definitely a great overall experience... Boudain balls are excellent... Could ease up just a tad bit in the boil seasoning though...

Huge selection of dinners. Honestly the BEST etouffee that I've ever had in my life and I've eaten it all over the South for the last 45 years. Perfect seasonings and great people make it truly a favorite place! We will be back every time we are in town.

No doubt, this place has THE BEST seafood in the Waco area! It's so tasty! My hubby liked the shrimp basket, and I liked the catfish basket. But my top favorite was the Boudin Balls. OMG! They are soooo good!!!! The lemon cake is also a must buy. It's delicious!!! The place looks super cool inside as well. The walls are covered with messages and drawings from clients expressing gratitude for the great food and customer service. By the way, the owner is so nice! She made us feel welcome and helped us choose from the menu, which has so many great options. We will definitely visit again. I highly recommend y'all visit this place! Thank you for the great food and service!!!

Holy cow. Don't be concerned about the outside of the building. As we walked in we were greeted by the most accommodating wait staff. She took time to explain the menu and how it worked. As we were looking over the menu she brought a sample of the etouffee. Oh my goodness that was so good. Beyond words good. We ordered the a sampler platter with fried oysters, alligator, shrimp, shrimp bits, fish , hush puppies and ettouffee. Best bargin with Alot of food and delicious. This place is highly recommended by our party. Thank you for the meal😃😃😃

Can't say enough good things about this place! Ms. Stacy and her staff are the sweetest and consistently treat you like family with so much love and hospitality. Each visit is an experience...it's like going home to Mama's home cookin! The food is amazing, you'll be hard pressed to find anything close. It's probably a good thing we don't live close because we'd be there everyday! And with my sweet tooth I always save room for dessert. Yesterday's selection was bread pudding, and mind you I'm not a bread pudding fan because it contains raisins. Ms. Stacy blessed us with a sample of it anyway. I gobbled it up raisins and all! It was so delicious we ended up buying a whole pan she had already made. I could go on and on but we love Friday's...it's truly a diamond in the rough.

My girlfriend used to live in Waco and when we were passing through said we should stop because it was her favorite restaurant. When I pulled up, I could tell it was going to be an amazing hole in the wall restaurant. Everyone working was extremely friendly and the food was out of this world good! Have a new favorite place to hit up any time I'm going through Waco!

This place is awesome! Food tastes great. Service was on top of things to get orders out fast. If you spice this place has some great options as well as some stuff you can't get anywhere else. Then to beat all the prices are worth what you buy. Gotta try it at least once!

Absolutely fell in love with this place driving back home. The food and customer service were excellent. I went there twice in two days :)) I had the fried blue crab plate that was amazing. Will be back!!

This is the place to go for fresh seafood. Their catfish was so flavorful, seasoned and fried to perfection. This was the best I have ever eaten. Can't wait to try the whole menu.

Very nice place to get some Cajun seafood from Everything was absolutely amazing besides the spiciness which I’m not a of hot or spicy food I would give a 5 all down the board Hopefully they can add flavors to the crab legs besides that they are great and I will return most definitely

The food was to die for and much better than Papadeaux. It was very authentic and fresh. One customer was complaining about where the owner got the fish. The owner, Ms. Stacey, provided the customer with first-hand products, and I know her husband or boyfriend was embarrassed. Ms. Stacey had a worker bring out the box of real fish. The man said, " You do this every time we eat out." I will be coming back soon, sometime in July. It's worth the drive. Thanks again, Ms. Stacey.

Wow, why haven't you been here yet?.. good taste food lots of choices. I got daily special with side rice seafood inside. Friendly service they will help if you can't pick. It's having Louisiana taste without having to drive.

Stephanie was amazing. Me and my husband Drew visited for the first time and we couldn't have been happier that we made the trip from Killeen. The food was amazing and the atmosphere matched. We made sure to tag the wall. We will be back.

I am speechless. This was the best seafood I've ever had, and I'm from Italy! Service was so good I now understand what people mean by southern hospitality. For 30$ I got a platter of all different kinds of seafood, and have enough leftovers for a couple more meals at least! Cheap, excellent, welcoming. I cannot imagine a better place to eat. 10 stars out of 5.

A homestyle gem in the rough. Great Cajun food on the whole menu! The staff is very nice and down to earth. The catfish atchafalaya was good and went well with the crawfish étouffée.

The desserts are too die for the staff is amazing. The whole place has that "dining room right outside the home kitchen" kind of feel. We usually go as a group of 5-7 and always are treated like family. As the one in the group that has allergies against shellfish and fish I though I would feel alienated as this is a cajun resturant but they whipped me up a cajun style chicken po'boy and it was amazing.

Whole catfish, potato salad, and beans. Seafood gumbo. Gumbo is only available on Fridays. It's one of the few places that still sells whole catfish. Had the catfish & shrimp combo with potato salad and red beans and rice.

The 5-star reviews were right. This place is amazing. This is the best Cajun food I've ever had. We had the Bayou Platter and everything was delicious. LOVED the fried fish, hushpuppies and the Étouffée was out of this world! We can't wait to go back!
