My family and I go hiking here all the time. It's beautiful, fun and safe. They have playgrounds, picnic areas, beautiful trails, a river and even a splash pad plus lots more. It's my favorite place in all of Waco and it's free. The bathrooms are always pretty clean as well. It's dog friendly but they need to be on a leash. If you're in Waco you HAVE to check this park out. The river trail is absolutely beautiful and super easy to hike.

Very large park with multiple areas to explore. Runs along the Brazos River and has some beautiful views, especially at Lover’s Leap. There are multiple playgrounds for the kids, lots of hiking trails and dogs on lease are welcome. They also have a small zoo, which is unusual for a local park.

Beautiful and serene park with gorgeous views. The park is huge with many points to cover and multiple hiking trails. My personal favorite location is the mouth of bosque which is extremely relaxing and peaceful. The twin bridges trail from there is a must do as its enchanting and refreshing. There is also a sunset point ahead with some of the most beautiful views and ofcourse Emmons Cliff, lovers leap and Jacobs Ladder. Overall Cameron Park is definitely a must do with lots of interesting things to do. You will feel extremely close to nature and get to know the heart of Waco.

Absolutely beautiful and so many areas to choose from for your peace of God's Creation to enjoy. You can bike, walk, drive, sit, picnic, hike, stair climb, and come back so many times to see something new.

Great area! Playgrounds, splash pads, Jacob's Ladder, and plenty of hiking trails! Plus the views are breathtaking; from cliffs to riverside.

Cameron Park is incredible! The park is well kept and the amount of trails is flabbergasting. The park trails are well identified ranging from beginner to expert. My favorite trail so far is the river trail. I would definitely recommend this park to my closest friends and family.

Enjoyed walking on the Riverwalk, especially with the hot weather as it was cooler by the river.

Cameron Park is definitely one of my favorite places in Waco. It's beautiful and super relaxing to walk along the riverwalk or to hike on the trails and enjoy nature. One of the top activities you can enjoy there is playing disk golf. In addition, there are several playground areas for the kids, including a mini water park (perfect to refresh on our hot summers). Each area of the park has restrooms, water fountains, and a gazebo with a BBQ grill. Gazebos can be rented for birthdays or other events. The city also has several music, sports, and social events held at the park throughout the year. Come and visit Cameron Park, you will love it!

Cool place lots of space. I'd give 5 stars but the park definitely needs more benches. The pavilion seating is rented out for party's and is not always available.

This is a really nice park with good hiking trails. You can take the easy path along the river or take the paths into the woods for some uphill climbing. We walked both for almost a 7 mile round-trip. Climb the Jacob's Ladder staircase if you want a challenging climb.

Visited 3.18.23, and the weather was overcast and cool. Very scenic area on the banks of the Brazos River. I will be going back once it warms up and the trees get their leafs. Looks like a very nice biking trail has been laid out.

I love bringing my daughter here! It's a nice little Park for the kids to play in the whole family to enjoy. You can have a picnic or barbecue, in the summertime they have the splash pad. You can also go fishing. Sidewalks is statues of the animals for the Cameron Park zoo there's also Jacob's ladder that you can climb at the top of that is a little playground for the kids and some trails. During the day it's a good little Park to be out with the family.

Beautiful Area, Multiple places for Family's to Go and Have a Lovely day(Depending on Weather) Nice Walking Trials, Wonderful Tree's next to the River.. Only prob we found was None of the Children's Play area's are Covered from the Sun 🌞🚫 My Grand-Babys Couldn't play on Equipment due to it Being To Hot! But Otherwise Very Nice! 🌳

Best park ever! This is such a large park with so much to do here. Restrooms conveniently located all over the park. It sprawls all alongside the beautiful river. There are so many trails! Paved trails good for walking jogging or an easy bike ride and woodsy trails good for mountain biking or hiking. There is even a beautifully kept disc golf course.

Very nice park. Lots of places to walk. Sounds like everybody already knows the mountain bike trails are great, bathrooms are plentiful and even a bridge to park under if it starts raining...

Needs maintenance. Clean up from leaves and a bit of stone work. Overall beautiful park with quote a lot of trails, picnic areas and BBQ sites. In December thou everything looks a bit blue and down in mood. Public WC and parking available on site. Good place to catch some fresh air.
