This is a MUST SEE if you’re in Pittsburgh. I never get bored when I visit this place and can go a couple more times. The structure of it is magnificent both inside and outside. It has different country themed classes with audio description, music and you can even smell the difference in the rooms. It’s open to public on Saturdays. They close some classrooms at 2:30 and the rests are open till 4pm. So make sure you choose a time accordingly. And fon’t forget to charge your phone beforehand.

Such a cool place. Makes me want to be a student here. My favorite part, besides The beautiful architect in the main room that made me feel like I was at Hogwarts, we're the classrooms. Each one is the theme of a different country. Definitely worth the trip!

If you are visiting Pittsburgh this place is must to see. Nice architecture, like from Harry Potter movies. Inside Nationality rooms which you can see with or without guide (I think $5 for). Around the holidays the rooms are decorated according to nation's customs. You will enjoy it!

An other world experience. Anyone interested in history or education will find this a fascinating visit. The architecture is stunning and the details in the stone work are unbelievable. Not a church, not a library, not a coffee shop, not a used book store and not a museum; but rather the best little bits if all those venues.

This was a beautiful place to walk around and learn about different countries. We took the self guided tour with an electronic tour guide and key hanging from a lanyard. The speakers on these lanyards provide enough volume for the individual using it. If you are in a group, it's annoying to hear more than two of these recordings playing at once. We definitely didn't give ourselves enough time to look around. It will take a good couple hours to walk through all rooms on the first floor. The rooms on the 3rd floor are modernized and have switches in each one that one turned on will give a history about the room. This is better because it comes out of a speaker that place throughout the entire room. This visit was so worth it!

Highly recommend taking the international rooms guided tour... the best $4 you'll ever spend... but you have to go on the weekend as the rooms are used as classrooms during the week. Fasciating history and architecture. You can also then go up to the 36th floor to get an incredible view of Pittsburgh

One of the highlights of the whole city. The building is the tallest educational building in North America. The gorgeous Gothic Revival/ Art Deco tower reigns over Oakland with a commanding awesome presence. The inside is even more interesting. The 1st and 3rd floor have "nationality rooms" celebrating various cultures from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. It can hard to see all of them in one trip because they are almost all functional classrooms. Also don't miss the view from the 36th and 37th floors. This is a must see!

You will spend several hours here. Such a cool place to explore. Part library, part college campus, and upstairs they have different classrooms representing different countries. It's like Epcot, but for classrooms. Totally worth the trip!
