Nice find off the Main Street or 290, so glad I went back after I didn't find it online until my way out. You initially walk in the storefront that sells everything from jams, cider, desserts, little kitchen items, etc... The tasting room is self-service where you pay $4 for each 4 oz. automated pour. You receive a card which you insert into an automatic pouring machine. There were about 12 wines from white to red and sweet to dry. I personally enjoyed the peach wine as it was light and refreshing without being too sweet. You're able to buy the same wines by the glass or bottle to go or take outside to the large sitting areas. There's a large patio area where a live band plans. There's also a nice pond area with a large amount of chairs, benches, and tables to sit and enjoy nature. The pond area was very nice to just sit, drink some wine, look at the water, and listen to all the insects. The chairs and tables are spread out around the entire pond, so everyone has their own personal space. The patio with live music was a good distance from the pond, so could enjoy either area depending upon your mood. I tried the pond are, but will try the live music next time as it's on the list to return.

Nice little scenic shop. They have lots of jams and salsas, some of which are sold at HEB. The wines here are not made at the location but at other wineries. They also have a small outdoor patio and pond. Nothing very special. For a small tasting. It's $4 each for about 1.5 oz and they charge a fee to get it. I wasn't fond of the. Serving on a plastic cup as well. And the service was a bit disorganized.

First time coming to this beautiful place. Always drove but today we decided to give it a try. We don’t regret it. The variety of wines for tasting was amazing. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only down side I would say is the options for snack. I wish they would of have charcuterie board to purchase. The environment is awesome and family friendly. I was able to take my two kids with me. They offered games and food to feed the fish. It keeps them entertained and busy. Don’t forget to take pictures with the pretty sunset and different areas. Would definitely come back and bring more friends to try different wines. Did I mention wine tasting was only $20 and we got to choose which ones to try out!!!!! Thank you everyone for making it a great experience!!

Quaint little store just outside Fredericksburg city proper for wine tasting and shopping for dainty treats drom pastries, jams and jellies, all sorts of sauces and ciders. Very country style store front with a very nice viwe of the orchard in the back. Very chill atmosphere outdoors and with instagrammable views and backdrops, if you're into that. Very nice ladies at the counter eager to help and assist you with your questions about their products and services. Prices are typical for products in a touristy stop but not outrageously so. Servicable outhouse-like restrooms outside in the back. Will not hesitate to return here when I have put of town guests.

The wine testing is a self serve process. Highly recommend before buying bottles. Tons of things to buy. The outside area is very nice to drink and eat. Highly recommend. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Kid friendly which is a big plus. Most expensive bottle was roughly $22.95.

IN LOVE LOVE LOVE with this place, I have been having it on my save for places to try and finally got to go. So freaking glad I did! This place has so much to see, to do, to taste! It's beautiful, calm and clean. We didn't last long because my child was over heating so next time I am not bringing children! Lol But definitely coming back!!!

Do not come here if you are Hispanic or do not have “Texas ID”. The young man at the bar was rude as soon as me and my sister walked in. He didn’t even acknowledge us. He then proceeded to rudely Interrupt our conversation to tell us the wine we were thinking about getting was not available. He was not kind about it. Then when we were ready to order a bottle of wine, He questioned our identification. I have a Texas ID and he kept staring at my picture and me back and forth and turned it all around and inspected it as if he thought it was fake. My sister had her Consulate identification that is US government issued and he said sarcastically “interesting”. And continued to ask her if she didn’t have a Texas or Government issued ID. Which she did. White young man acting this way with us- two young Hispanic women. All We wanted to have a nice day out with our family and ended up feeling discriminated.

This is a fun spot to check out. They have a bakery, wine tasting, and they have their Fischer & Wieser brand in the store. In fact I think this may be the original spot? The pond in the back is nice to sit and relax. They have little fishes and turtles in it.

Unexpected stop...as my original destination was Enchanted Rock. If you're driving in from San Antonio you may blink and pass it up. This is a nice quaint winery. I don't drink wine, but I do love peaches...the sole reason for my stop. There is a gift shop with jams and spreads. They do flights and have assorted wine selections. They're two sections where you can relax and drink...my favorite was by the pond where it is not only peaceful but the ambiance is amazing! Im not an expert on how wine should taste or what is expensive... you're just going to have to see for yourself.

Awesome hidden gem. The outside ambiance is good. Lot of free samples of peach flavored items to try out. The cobbler and ice cream was good. Very friendly staff. Self service wine tasting option. Nice place to hangout.

The pond behind the store is the most adorable place to sit and relax for a little while. They also had a cute set up with pumpkins where you can take a couple of pictures 😍 Plants and flowers are attracting a lot of butterflies

Had read so much about Das Peach Haus I was really anticipating a great experience. First off I love the location and the history of the buildings. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We were greeted by a couple of grumpy gus's. Very short with answers to questions. The wine tasting is a flat price and then you serve yourself with plastic cups. A couple of the wines were out when we were there ... including their famous Peach Wine. Go figure. We bought some preserves and waters and off we went. I guess we over expected.

Not the place for wine tasting unless you like tasting wine out of a plastic jello cup outdoors in the TX heat. Many of the other wineries have air-conditioned space for wine tasting. Additionally, using plastic jello cups does not allow you to swirl and test the aroma of the wine. I would recommend trying another place for wine tasting. On the plus side, they have a wide variety of sauces to sample and choose.

Beautiful atmosphere. Friendly staff. Kid and pet friendly. Pond on sight had plenty of seating. Fire pits and heaters for cooler weather. Toss the bags with cornhole or bring a Frisbee or soccer ball- very spacious. Plenty of wine options and some sweet treats available. Multiple jelly and sauce options for purchase inside. Bluebonnet jelly? What?! Relaxing way to spend a couple hours with a glass of wine and great company.
