We stopped here on our way to LL Bean Friday around 2pm. We’d been in Maine for almost a week and were craving something different than seafood. So glad we stopped here. We sat on the patio and got seated relatively quickly considering we had a party of 8. The food was delicious. The chicken Parmesan was the best I’ve ever had. Someone in our party got the Bee Sting pizza and it was amazing. Simple yet so flavorful. Everyone loved their food. The kids pizzas were as large as the adult portions. Will DEFINITELY visit again when in the area! Delicious!

Delicious food with an upscale and fun atmosphere! This is an excellent spot to stop with the family or with you significant other for a special meal. The restaurant was very neat and clean. The layout was not crowded and easy to navigate. The staff was amazing. Well versed in everything the offered and friendly. Our drinks were superb and perfectly made. Everything we made we picture perfect, and made exactly how we ordered it. It is also quite an experience to watch them make the pizzas! We will be back often.

Had a quick light dinner here, and we had a great time. The service we got was amazing, and the local beer recommendation was top-notch! The pizza and soup of the day was great, but the fries could be better.

Went there a few days back on the recommendation of a local who lives in Freeport. Ordered the Haddock Chowder as a starter. Some of the potatoes were still raw and made my friend and I sick. She had stomach issues and I spent the night having diarrhea. Our main lunch sandwiches were very good, though. Won't be going back there again.

I'm sorry to post this photo, but with how delicious the food was, I forgot to take the photos... the service was very good and our food was excellent, we ordered calamari, carpaccio, a soup of the day, and a salad! I ordered a cosmopolitan drink and it was super good.. really 100% recommended!!

This restaurant in Freeport was highly recommended by my local Maine colleague and it didn't disappoint. We went there for both dinner and lunch, the following day. This Bistro is well decorated in a tavern style. The service was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming. The food was as yummy and flavorful, as it was very well presented and portioned. Mussels - yuuummmy - extremely fresh, plump, with the sauce that really pleased the palate with its rich flavor of fresh cherry tomatoes, garlic and herbs, married well with Madeira wine - just amazing! They were served with Polenta fritters that were crispy outside and soft inside and complemented the dish very well. We liked them so much that we ordered them as a side on the following day. Pizzas - we had the Farmhouse veggie pizza with chunks of grilled chicken during our first visit and Funghi(mushroom) - with rich truffle Alfredo base(!) and a mushroom medley - during the lunch on the following day. Both were just perfect! The crust seemed a bit thicker and chewier than we usually like, but it was delicious. We also had Shrimp, Asparagus and Sun Dried Tomatoes tagliatelle - it was delicious, the shrimp was large and very juicy, the pasta - cooked perfectly al dente, with the very flavorful, a bit tangy sauce. The baked soft foccacia was very good - it was served on the wooden board with 3 spreads/dips. I would also like to mention the coffee - the double espresso macchiatto was as perfect as it gets. The wine and beer selection was very appropriate, too. Grazie Mille!

We are ending our vacation here for dinner. Everything was so good. The service was right on top of everything and the food followed. The spaghetti and meatballs was one of my favs. The lasagna was just as good too. If we come back to the area, we will definitely be back.

Had high hopes for this place since it’s basically the highest rated restaurant in the town, and they had “ask about vegetarian and vegan options” on their menu. unfortunately it was a wild disappointment- the meal my fiancé got when he asked for something without dairy or egg was the shrimp scampi, the first time they brought it out it had cheese on it so they had to remake it and it was just pasta water sauce with gluten free pasta. 1 star for service because our waiter was clearly frustrated with us but we were nothing but polite when asking for options. i ordered a glass of wine to eat with my bolognese (which was very good, which is what gives this place 3 stars for food!) but it came when i was basically done 15 minutes later so i told them i was all set, and they took it away instead of just comping me for it. vegans beware this is not the place for you. no options that aren’t just modified versions of their other dishes stripped down to be super bland. it’s 2023- you have to have at least one good vegan dish on your menu!

We drove over an hour to get here. WELL worth the trip. We decided to go here today for our sons 15th bday. We made the right choice. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. We watched at the chef was throwing his pizza doughs in the air during our wait. The food was really good. We will be making the trip back to Freeport just to go here again. Can't wait for date night here!

We ate here yesterday. I got the Fungi pizza. It was probably one of the best pizzas I have ever had. From the first bite I was just so content. I had to pause and just savor the delicious moment. We ordered the Calamari appetizer. Best I've ever had. It had a few other fried veggies mixed in. It really made it awesome. My husband got a sandwich and my kids also got pizza. They had good things to say about their food too. The food here is so flavorable. Great place to eat!

Best harvest mushroom, vegetable soup ever. Meatballs almost as good as Mom's. Fresh pasta with sweet San Marzano tomato sauce. Fresh ricotta. Beet salad. Piedmont region Italian wine. Amazing attention to detail. Delicious. Can't wait to try pizza next time.

Absolutely great. The environment is very nice with the tables well spaced so nothing feels cramped. Watched the guys make pizza ( he dropped the dough once but threw it away immediately). Service was prompt and friendly. Food was incredible. Lobster Mac n cheese was fresh and served so incredibly hot. Fettuccine was excellent also. Portion sizes were huge. Overall great experience.

Super cozy vibes here. I absolutely love the decorations and the couch bench seats. The service was also very fast. In addition all the food we had was great. My personal favorite of them all though was the fried eggplant focaccia. My only complaint was the cake we had was room temperature which made it a little unpleasant in my opinion. It would have been better either warmer or colder.

The food was great, pizza was very good and I failed to get a photo of the cheesecake but it was delicious. The server was great once we finally got one, we were sat and nobody came to check on us for over 10 minutes. I almost walked out but once she finally got there she was great.

Delicious and delightful. If you have the opportunity to stop while visiting Freeport, I highly recommend. My friends and I stopped for lunch because of other raving reviews. And I’m here to add my raving review to the already long list. Everything we tried was phenomenal 😋 The haddock sandwich was the best I’ve ever eaten! So good I forgot to take photos…

Nice atmosphere, great food and service!! Surprisingly good quality of food in a small town. Pleasant indoor dining experience with booth seatings for my friends with kids. I will definitely stop by again anytime I pass by Freeport.

We came here after an afternoon of shopping. I said we had seven adults and three kids and they didn't bat an eye or look panicked. We were seated within 5 minutes. The inside had a very homey and cozy feel to it and would be a great date night spot. The food was excellent! The pizza was so good. So was the pasta. The sauce had a little heat to it. Local beer on tap was a plus for us as well since we were visiting. Highly recommend!

Stopped in with my wife and baby for an early dinner. We had the calamari, lobster bisque, and a salad topped with salmon. Additionally, the chefs prepared steamed carrots and finer potatoes for our baby. Absolutely fantastic restaurant, we could not have picked a better place.

The wait was worth it. The server Daniel is excellent at his job he was very attentive, right there when you needed anything suggesting things to us to try. The food I can't say enough it was beyond excellent and fresh, fresh, fresh veggies, cheeses, seafood, the cream sauce in the seafood alfredo was perfect texture and flavors that ruined my pallet for any other restaurant. We were not rushed and it was a perfect ending to our Maine vacation. You will not be disappointed.

I had the capellini and my husband had the New York strip. Both were delicious but getting New York strip next time. It was sooo good!

The pizzas are 6 inches. Which is fine! But the complete lack of topping was such a downfall to the whole experience. The pizza was 16 dollars. I would definitely come back and order the burger because it looks huge and tasty. But who knows it might not be lol. The workers look like they are treated really well, and the inside and outside was very well decorated and it was welcoming.

The food was great, our waitress, Danielle(a) was very attentive and prompt. Very elegant and relaxed atmosphere. The only drawback? Not very handicapped friendly. Parking is in the back of the building, which neccitates either walking up a steep hill then climbing 8-10 stairs or walking on the flat side which means you have two sets of stairs to negotiate. Or you can choose a set of wooden stairs that are perhaps 15-20 stairs.

My sister and I went here for lunch. We sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menus. I had the pastrami sandwich, excellent, along with the Truffle fries. These were also very tasty. My sister had the Caprese. Very good. The drinks we had were Cranberry Sage Margaritas...so tasty. Excellent food and service. We will go again
