I wanted to try something new because I'd like to think im getting older and my taste pallette is changing. I've been to this place to pick up food and you know once I smell something scrumptious I'm on go... I got some butter chicken and garlic naan. I used the Naan to wipe the plastic bowl of butter chicken clean as I should have😜 I've tried other meals there also (chicken korma, vegetable samosa(spicy), and Tikka massala) I have not been disappointed.

I am appalled. I ordered chicken tikki masala from Tiffin and while I’m eating it, I see what i think is a hair. As I’m pulling out the hair, I realize it’s a HUGE SPIDER. It has been 20 minutes since this incident and I am still shaking and so disgusted and traumatized. I will never be able to eat here again.

I ordered on Uber Eats today. I payed $20 for tomato soup and 6 small slices of chicken (no exaggeration). Will not be ordering from Tiffin again, better off finding a hole in the wall spot, usually way more satisfying.

This guy took my order at 3:23 (it says it on the receipt and I’ll add photos) and asked me to wait for a phone call. 2 hours went by and I’m going back in at this point because I got tired of waiting. He gave me my food. Talked about how busy they were. Now if they were so busy that my food had to take that long to make, then u understand. But my food has been ready for over an hour and he gave me cold food after waiting 2 hours. He replaced the rice and the samosas but I will never be eating here again. And I will not recommend this place to anyone. My time is worth a lot to me and this experience was disrespectful to say the least.

I can’t say anything that hasn’t been said already about how good Tiffin is. Been ordering from here 15 years now or so, never had any issues. Food always really good. One tip I would say is order direct from them, you get rewards credit that adds up. Knocked 10$ off dinner last night, very nice 👍 👍

Been eating Tiffin since they first opened. the cook on the food wavers, but this weekend everything was perfect, and not over done/dried out. Only complaint is that you used to get a 2/3 oz container of tamarind and mint chutney with each appetizer, and now we either don't receive any or get a little 1oz pill cup. Either way still a favorite night when we order Tiffin!

I had chicken biryianni and for the first half of the rice it was flavorless and old. The other half had chicken and more flavor. But I wouldn't say the rice was fresh but it was probably due to ordering 730pm. Still for the price I paid I expected mote wholesome of Biryiani. It's just an expectation to have fresh rice, non dry chicken, and consistent flavor throughout the whole thing. They only do takeout BTW. Parking is street.

First time having tiffin tonight and I will definitely be back. From placing my order via phone and picking up - everything went smoothly and quick. My bf said “the chicken was cooked to perfection.”

Wow...this food literally reminds me of my mother's cooking when I was a kid. I've never found myself disappointed by anything we've ordered off the menu - chicken tikka masala, vegetable biryani, saag and lamb curry, pakoras...everything is absolutely delightful. The portions are large and I love that it comes with Tupperware that I get to reuse. :) The contactless pickup is also extremely efficient - we order online, and grab our labeled bag upon entry. Tiffin is hands down some of the best Indian food in Philadelphia and we will continue to order from here every Sunday! ** 2 YEARS LATER - had a small issue with some inconsistency in my orders, but Marianne, the Customer Experience Manager, called me and worked to resolve them which I really appreciate!

Reliable place consistent quality. Easy pick up. My go to order is chicken/ paneer tikka masala some cheese kulcha or garlic naan and definitely a mango lassi. You cant go wrong. I also really like the spicy cauliflower and the chili chicken although it has been a long time since I've tried it and that was pre pandemic since eive tried their appetizers. But the quality of the curry has stayed the same even after years.

Great Indian food! I've heard it's become hit or miss, but it's always a hit for me. More flavorful than Mood down the street, though it's a bit pricier too. However, if you sign up for their emails, they often have good discounts. My only issue is that they've sometimes missed parts of my order, so I always check the bag before I leave the store now.

Last straw. I have given tiffin so many chances, mostly because when it’s good, it’s great. Issue is, it hasn’t been good in quite sometime. From two hour deliveries, metal nail in our food, cold, tasteless, missing items. Tonight, I placed my order at 6:33. Gave me a 60 minute time. Cool. I can deal with that. Get a call at 7:17 telling me the driver wasn’t back, and wouldn’t be back for an hour. At least this time they called, although after 40 minutes later. Trying me. Stay away. Mood or Etka is your best bet.

Very neat and convenient spot. They offer generous portions and for inexpensive prices. We enjoyed the food very much and the waiters were very friendly and chatty. I recommend this place.

When I arrived they told me my order would be a few minutes. I waited and a lady came out with a bag I thought was mine, but she walked past me so I’m like I guess that isn’t mine. She sat it on a table behind me, so I waited. Then another lady came out and asked what order I was waiting for and I told her. She then asked was that not my order the other woman brought out. I said I didn’t know because the lady literally walked past me and sat the order on the table. If it were mine, why not hand it to me. When the Second Lady brought to my attention that the order was mine I read it and confirmed it was mine. She then asked to see my email confirmation, as if I was lying or maybe she thought I was a delivery driver. Drivers get deliveries the app, not email confirmations so I guess she didn’t believe me. I showed her my purchase inside of the app and she just said okay and walked away. I’m big on spending my money where there is good customer service and this wasn’t it. The food was okay, there was a tiny piece of chicken bone in my butter chicken though.

I bought chicken Tikka masala for $20 for a pint. That’s crazy . Maybe it’s just inflation but DANG

I ordered the mild butter chicken, garlic naan and veggie samosas. Everything was really good. The mild butter chicken was the perfect amount of spice and the rice was cooked perfect. The garlic naan is small compared to other restaurants but still delicious, I know to order extra next time!

Absolutely delicious!!! The chicken tikka masala, the chana masala, and the curry shrimp was full of flavor. You can taste the freshness and quality. So good. Just wish they could add chickpeas as a protein choice to the curry pot and the choice of a small side(without rice)for the chickpeas and vegetables to go with a meal. I think I'll try the Saag chicken next time. They offer free delivery too. So glad to have fresh, all natural, deliciously flavored take out food available, and they do have a very nice, warm and cozy dinning area too with byob if you choose. Sorry I didn't try this place sooner, was definitely missing out on some good food nearby.

It's taken me way too long to write this review... we've been getting Tiffin for about 5 years now at least once a week and they never never disappoint. The food itself is excellent - and we enjoy different things and different "hot" levels but they crush it every dish every time. Portions are generous and we feel very fairly priced. Bonus - really nice people - always very pleasant when we go in plus they offer reusable containers which we just really value that they are thinking about not just their business but doing good for the community and earth, too. Really feel lucky to have them in our neighborhood!

A nice place to be for Indian dishes. Friendly staffs, quality service and great taste. If you are in the city and love to try Indian food like Biryani, Chicken/Veg curry, you should try this one. They deliver to the local area as well. Have tried few times and they were on time.

We got this delivered for dinner tonight. The food was very very good. We got the spicy and I would say that it’s really more of mild. But overall the curries were delicious And actually had a different taste per curry. We are vegetarian so we got paneer but we got Chettinad curry and vindaloo curry and malai kofta. The only thing that wasn’t good was the tandoori roti which was undercooked. They gave us a great rice portion with this order

In my opinion this is the best/accessible Indian restaurant in the area. I’ve tried a few and this is the most authentic and best tasting. This is easily my delivery go-to. Obviously chicken tikka masala and butter chicken are solid, but I usually go for chicken curry (more traditional) and lamb biryani, which are both fantastic.

Authentic and delicious. Biryani is a little bland but everything else is amazing here and still my go to place. Delivery is always hot and fast

People were super nice and the space was beautiful but this food was pretty bad. Nothing tasted like it should. The butter chicken had been like loaded up with sugar or something. Sorry to say I will not be returning.

I have tried several dishes from here. The Korma is good. I thought it was the best until I tried Ekta's Korma. The Curry chicken is good. The chili chicken was not that good. Also there was a Cauliflower dish that was disgusting. I have also had the Samosa, Samosa chat and the chicken seekh kabob, all were good. But the Chicken Seekh Kabob tasted like a hot dog. Overall Tiffin does a good job with their indian dishes and accommodating customers. Although Their prices are a little high

I am not really a fan of trying something new but trying the chicken Tikka masala and biryani from tiffin girad was the best I recommend to others

Tiffin used to be outstanding. Got delivery today and the food was not good or flavorful. For a minute I was wondering if I had covid and lost my sense of smell and taste, but my companion said the same thing. Bummer as this used to be a favorite.

I ordered a chicken kebab ! Anyone knows a chicken kebab means cut up chicken on a stick with vegetables, What Is THISSS ??!!!! I called and told them this wasn’t what i ordered & All they did was argue me down and made smart remarks. They are so unprofessional & disrespectful! This was my First & LAST time ordering from them !!!

This is unquestionably one of the tastiest place to eat in the neighborhood. Anytime I go there I am absolutely happy. They manage their very high standard service and the topmost level of dishes they offer. You surely will enjoy this this restaurant. Very recommended.

Extremely poor packaging quality! Ordered through uber eats, and this is what I found outside my apartment. The delivery guy might have also messed up, but a wafer thin paper bag for a large order with multiple items? That's just unprofessional!

Obviously nothing like homemade Indian style cuisine, but enough to scratch the itch.. saag paneer is delicious.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. This location has the worst service I have ever experienced. I waited over 2 hours for my food. When it finally got delivered it was very cold.

Disgusting. Ordered food literally 4 blocks away. Told me I live 4.1 miles away and maybe I walk to get it. Then had issues with the credit card payment and he complained he was really tied. The worst, was the hour wait and terrible quality food. I paid $10 for this disgusting dish. This location is a mess. I only ever ordered from the south Philly store and this place is night and day.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering food at Tiffin Girard, and I must say, the food was amazing. I really liked the Butter Chicken, Chicken Curry, and Dal Tadka as well as Garlic Naan, it was exceptionally well done and tasty. Not only was the food exceptional, but the portion sizes were generous, leaving me feeling satisfied without being overly stuffed. Highly recommend it’s food to the food lovers, it’s really worth it. It truly exceeded my expectations, and I cannot wait to order again from the Tiffin Indian Cuisine. 😁
