Over the past 15 years I've been going to One Family, ownership may have changed but great Korean food with a comfortable atmosphere has been a staple. One Family offers traditional Korean dishes, all of which are great. However where One Family stands apart is their soup and stew offerings. They have the largest variety of authentic soups around. Discover for yourself why many Koreans have soup for meals daily.

Amazing Korean food the food had tons of flavor, great portion, and even my toddler loved the food. Our server was very sweet . The owner im assuming was so kind she even gave us these drinks at the end. My son loved them. I tried the korean beer to it was delicious. Highly recommend and will be back again!!

Excellent Korean restaurant. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. The golbi is the best I have ever tried. A nice, cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Our waitress Sue was great and witty. It made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Best Korean restaurant in Tampa hands down. The service is outstanding. FYI make a reservation is small and gets busy.

I ordered the bone broth soup and it was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever had. It came with a side of kimchi, radish, white rice, fish cakes (which were soooooo good) and a few other things. I was quite impressed with the service, setup and food. I’m looking forward to trying more of their menu items!

Been here a few times, never disappointed; its become a must visit everytime I am in Tampa. IT'S AMAZING. The staff is a blast, her recommendation was spot on and we felt like we were the only ones there (the place was full); she took great care of us. The food was also AMZAING and very generous serving sizes. Recommend ordering a few items and eating family style, too many things to try and all are great.

My wife wanted to have some authentic Korean food, but we really don't know of any in Orlando. So she found this place 75 miles away in Tampa. What we had was Army stew and Korean fried chicken. They both weren't what I was expecting. Both had a lot of flavor and their own unique taste. I liked them both and was surprised by the taste.

This place has the BEST jjajangmyeon ever!!!! The employees are super welcoming and nice. I came when it was not busy and the atmosphere was amazing. My baby brother dropped his water and they were very nice about it! The food came pretty fast and it was delicious! Seriously, the best jjajangmyeon I've ever had and I've been to many Korean restaurants. We also got the tteokbokki, pan fried dumplings, and hot stone bibimbap. All were so yummy! 10/10 Reccomend

Every time I come here I feel at home. The food is always straight gas. I always try to get something different, today I had the galibop and it was meaty and juicy. I also had the Korean wings and WOW, the sauce, the crunch, the tenderness it’s all amazing!! I think if paired with a good homemade ranch it would be elite. One thing I do wish they had is pictures of the food or a description on the menu of what the food is, I always have to look it up haha but regardless I love this little place. Right next to it they have a convenience store too and we bought some udon noodles and goyza :)) the other item in the picture are some noodles… I wasn’t a fan tbh but the pickled vegetables were so good. They also give you a whole bunch of small sides like kimchi, cucumber kimchi, tofu, and noodles with your food. It is a little on the expensive side but worth the food and the amount they give too.

Amazing place! Serious nostalgia happened with every bite (was in Korea from 2001-2002). The yaki mandu(Korean dumpling) was delicious and tasted fresh. Bulgogi was tender and succulent. Chicken was perfectly spicy. No complaints about this place. FYI, the restaurant is fairly small, but if I lived near I would order take-out all the time instead. It was clean and the service was great! Furthermore, there is an authentic Korean supermarket next door (same building) of the restaurant. Sorry, I didn't get shots of the menu, I will upload them the next time I go.

Best Korean food in Tampa. A true family restaurant with an incredibly charming interior only surpassed by the food itself.

If you want an authentic Korean restaurant experience- come here. Very quiet and intimate on most days like you are eating at your Korean ummas house. All the food is good. We have been several times now. Kimchi pancake , Kimchi Tofu Stew, Korean Chicken Wings , and Banchan are all great. If you want to feel like you are at a Korean family home dinner - make sure you get to this restaurant. A Tampa gem of a place.

I've been coming here for years and love it. They have the best jjampong that I've had and wonderful gimbap (I ate half before taking a picture). The food is great home style Korean cooking and the Korean grocery store next door is a huge perk.

I’ve dined in and ordered takeout and gotten delivery from this place and it NEVER disappoints. Tonight I called the restaurant to ask a question before ordering on Uber. The person who answered the phone allowed me to customize my order and said they would let the chef know once the order came through. I received my food with a handwritten note. There is not an enough kindness in this world, and I deeply appreciated that type of care.

I wanted some good homestyle Korean cooking tonight... so went to One Family. I was thinking Galbi, but when I got there... I remembered there were several happy mentions of the Korean Fried Chicken they do. So ordered that. Service was perfect... very, very good. There was Korean reality TV on right next to my table, which was fine since I was alone and had no desire for conversation. It was entertaining... the cast of characters seemed like happy people. My chicken arrived, and looked yummy. I love the banchan here too... they do a really good job with it. Chicken was good... not quite as crunchy as some other places, and maybe a touch overcooked. But tasty. Rice was perfect too. I always mean to come here more often since they are close to me... will have to do that.

Food was the most authentic Korean food I tasted here in Florida. Someone wrote here that he took his wife from Orlando to this place, and I can understand why as I am also from Orlando. Also, our waitress lady was super nice! Will definitely visit again

I ordered to-go. I had the 뚝배기 불고기 Hotpot Bulgogi Stew and the 잡채 Japchae. Portion sizes for dinner are great sizes! I was able to have enough left over for lunch and dinner for the next night. Food was delicious. And packaged very well! Staff is great too! I highly recommend!

This place should not be in business, They are overly charged, I ordered 4 items take out and the bill was $95, the portion was so small, nothing special, the pork belly was gross, I am not sure what they are thinking. Keep it up and you will be out of business soon, your food was not good, overly charged, you are hurt yourself. I will never come back for this type of food and will not recommend you to anyone

I love this place! The vibes in this restaurant are comforting and warm. The food is always good, and they are always very attentive. You can tell it is family owned and we love coming here regularly.

Feels like they get a new owner, we ordered the seafood pancake and the hot stone bibimbap. The hot sauce taste different and the size of bibimbap gets much smaller. Pancake is over cooked. Also the service is terrible, we have to ask for drinks and those sides. Also I don't understand why everyone else in the restrunt have 4 dishes of sides but we only have 2.

Re-review, New Owners Again? I've visited One Family many times over the years however, every new owner, the food gets worse. Fried chicken was not bone in pieces, rather, it was a $19 plate of chicken nuggets (whole meat). The sauce was good, but totally not your typical "Korean fried chicken" plate. The flavor was ok, a bit dry, nothing special. Totally not fried 🍗 not even wings. Banchan/Kimchi, I judge a restaurant by its kimchi, as you should. They only brought out TWO banchan plates. One typical cabbage, one zucchini. The fewest plates I've ever seen was 6! When I pressed the waiter, they did bring one more. Flavor on both, bland, not enough fermentation. I'm going to circle around and probably not come back until I hear some real reviews that change my mind.

Best place to go for authentic Korean food and experience. I've been coming here for a few years and the food never fails

The food is authentic and good. The pricing is a bit high, although, it's hard to find good authentic food like this, so we'll pay for it. The inside is extremely small & tight, for a restaurant. Might be slightly larger than a 1 car garage. -No joke The kitchen, from what I can see, is equally as small. Limited staff, although more than 2 servers would get in each other's way, so a busy weekend evening means a long wait. And with that said, we'll happily go, wait, pay a little more, and leave happy. It's surrounded by other Korean owned businesses, including a Korean food market. The prices are a little high, but not totally out of line for truly authentic places like this. My wife, and her twin sister, are Korean and this has become our place to go for authentic Korean, ever since the place on Dale Mabry was closed down after "payroll issues". -- And we live in NPR, so we don't go on a regular basis.

I've been coming to this place for the past 10 years and all I can say is I'm never disappointed. The service is amazing! The atmosphere is tranquil and you really see the heritage the owners put into their amazing restaurant. And the food!! Hands down the best Korean food around! I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for great quality food that taste amazing!
