I'm editing my earlier review.... This is a neat local cafe in the heart of Downtown Winston-Salem on Trade Street. Payment in cash is preferred as they charge a small fee for credit card purchases. My daughter loves their Boba Tea. I usually have to drive by to see if their open whenever I'm downtown. There is space inside to sit and chat with friends or watch the world go by. Inconsistent hours of operation based on their Facebook page. According to Facebook they say they're open during the week from 4:30pm till 7:00pm. Everytime I've drove by after 5pm they are closed.

New location and really phenomenal. Lactose free friendly and their boba is really well executed. Just chewy enough, and just sweet enough without going overboard on anything. Staff is super friendly and the space is neat and convenient. Can't wait to go back, I hear great things about the coffee.

The drinks are good but have been there multiple times when it says that it’s open and it’s closed. They also don’t usually answer the phone. I tried to call and see if they were open since it’s not always accurate and i get no response

The absolute best! I've been in WS for a week and have tried way too many bubble tea places. I no longer have to look any further! Rena Marie's is by far the best! I might dare say better than back home in NY!! Absolutely delicious, homemade and real products. Also dairy free abs vegan options which was a plus for us! Employee was super kind, helpful and took the time to spend and help me make the perfect drink! Absolutely will be back soon! Thanks so much!

I had the Thai Tea boba and also bought milky bun. The best part was that I saw a fluffy big dog! As far as the service went, it was excellent: no long wait and the server was definitely polite. I was just visiting from Charlotte but I wish I could stay longer and try different things on the menu.

I walked into this place and was immediately greeted with an identity crisis. Was it a coffee house? Was it a boba tea place? Maybe a lumber yard based on the amount of plywood blocking your view of the only person making drinks? Magazines and Asian newspapers from several years ago are offered to distract you from the abnormally long wait times (I get it though, there's definitely a shortage of employees right now). Perhaps you might want to look at artwork that looks like it was brought home from a preschooler. I simply amused myself by finding spelling mistakes on the plywood menu. If after finishing your drink, you have to use the bathroom, tough luck. They don't offer one to the public. All of that aside, the drinks were very good. I was pleasantly surprised. A bit pricey for what it is, but definitely tasty.

almost every time i try to come here they are closed and they don’t answer the phone. the one time i went and they were actually open it was too expensive and not that great. just because there is a shortage of boba doesn’t mean to overcharge customers that much.

Inconsistent tastes with the same order each day. The barista was also not willing to explain anything.

First time and last time here and will never came back bad service

Pass on the boba tea. Didn't try their coffee or anything but we've tried several Boba places in Winston Salem and theirs is definitely sub par. The milk they use tastes like regular milk which actually dilutes the tea, not sweetened condensed which is traditional. The flavors in both teas were really weak. If you're looking for really good authentic boba tea, I'd recommend Tiger Tea first and foremost and then Momo Ashi.

I feel like this spot is what all of those trendy new age coffee shops are trying to emulate. Definitely gives an authentic vibe with a laid back atmosphere and kind service. And the offerings are unique too! 100% worth a visit and could even become a part of your everyday routine.

Bought my favorite taro bubble tea and tried my first moon cake. I can’t wait to come back, I hope there are milk cream buns then.

I always stop here when I drive through Winston-Salem. I can't find bubble tea this good ANYWHERE around!! Update: went to Rena's and it was packed! Super busy and she was by herself poor thing but she did her best and was very sweet. Lots of customers dressed as cosplay characters. Love her bubble tea. It's so, so good!

I absolutely loved the honeydew flavored boba with coconut milk and tapioca!! The staff was friendly and professional. The shop is clean and inviting. The flavors are amazing.

I've never been inside it's always closed by the time I can get there. But when I get delivery it's always so yummy, the snowcreme is so good, I just got to figure out my perfect boba to sweetness ratio thought.

Tasty tea, chill vibes, comfy couch, and a decent book selection if you feel like staying and reading a while. Seems like a great little spot to hang with a few friends. Worth stopping in if you're walking in the area!

My husband and I tried their coffee and boba tea today. It was delicious!! She made our order super fast and the shop was adorable inside. The menu is large and has a large variety of flavors to choose from. We will be coming back!!
