Yes it costs more bc the government only subsidizes corporate junk. This is slow & healthy food, mostly organic and sustainably sourced that is full of what our bodies need for long lives of wellness.

Organic, grass fed, pasture raised meats, cheeses, and bone broths. Prepared meals and snacks. Truly the highest quality food you'll ever find. Great for having on hand for a quick and easy dinner.

This place is a gem in the Bay Area. I have been buying food from Three Stone Hearth for years. Three Stone has expand its open hours so it is relatively easy to pick up your food. There are also deliveries made to San Francisco for those who can't get over to Berkeley. The quality of their sources for vegetables and meats is the best. It's the best.

I've been shopping at Three Stone Hearth for years, and have taken classes through them too, and am never disappointed. I would go so far as to say that their food is the healthiest I've ever found (and tasty too!). If you're especially interested in ancient/non-inflammatory foods this is your gold mine. I hope your own experience is equally rewarding!

I may be biased because I worked here briefly, but WOW. The food is amazing. Not only that, the time and effort behind the product was such a beautiful thing to witness. Every product and jar that leaves that building is handled with care and love. The TSH workers are devoted to producing the best, healthiest, most delicious meals possible. Not only that they tirelessly work to find the best sustainable practices within their facility (A+++). Thank you for the food and friendship!

I was so thrilled to learn about this place from my friend. Sometimes I make my own bone broth but it takes so much work and it's so time consuming. It's so nice to be able to show up and buy it here, even though it's expensive. I feel that way about pate too. I bought their chicken pate which was delicious and also doesn't contain all the things that I don't want in it like milk or cream. I wish it was closer but conveniently it is close to Bart which is great from a public transit perspective.

My friends (love them but they are v picky - well, so am I) all rave about Three Stone Hearth. I have no idea why I waited so long to see what all the hype was about. Now that I've been here and got their system down (i.e. new menu online every week, return glass jars in the parking lot, week old food is in the freezer to the right, etc.), I look forward to visiting every week. Their food is so nourishing!!! I can not even begin to tell you how good it is. And how much my body loves it. One of my friends said it's better than a home-cooked meal and I totally agree. Their dishes are packed with flavor, but are not overwhelming. Three Stone Hearth makes their food with so much care. It's beautiful.

I love Three stone Hearth. Outside in the parking lot on Wednesday afteroon, Leras family farm sells amazing mozzarella and pepper jack cheese, yogurt, cream and milk from Jersey and Guernsey Cows. All his produce is amazingly good and the Yogurt is incredable. The mozzarella cheese is hand pulled on the farm, and he usually sells it with organic Tomatoes and fresh Basil. There are also organic eggs.

I love this place. Sad there aren't more. If you are trying to live and eat healthily then this place is a must. Those following Weston A. Price or traditional cooking lifestyles will appreciate the ability to purchase time consuming foods like bone broth and many types of kombucha and tonics. I love the fact they have resdy made spupd and breads as well. Truly a gem worth checking out.

I always love getting food from here! Everything I've gotten has been delicious, the store smells AMAZING, and everybody is very, very helpful. I order ahead online and pick up in store since I live forever away, and sometimes I'll get something extra while I'm there since they have whatever they didn't sell out of ahead of time in the front area as well. The samples are great too - I got to try their whey sports drink that I was on the fence about, and it was SO TASTY. When I go back to the gym after my upcoming surgery, I'm going to start buying it! I cannot recommend this place enough. I can't afford to buy from here nearly as often as I'd like, but occasionally I splurge when I can. If you can afford the cost of GOOD ingredients, treat yourself to amazingly tasty AND healthy food!
