The BEST way to see Asheville is on the Trolley - Hop On & Off. Senior tickets are just $33 for TWO DAYS!! You can't beat it. (We would've paid $25 just to park each day at the Omni Grove Inn, but no - we just hopped off the trolley there, two days in a row and saved $50! We LOVE a good deal, so this was right up our alley! The drivers were very informative - some funnier than others, but all quite knowledgeable. We loved hearing different ones bring out varying information while driving around the city in comfort. We didn't have to find a parking place or wonder where to go or what to do - they did all the work while we enjoyed ourselves! Win-win! (Pictures taken on tour. )

A great place to start your Ashville vacation. All the information you need for your vacation is here. Several tours start in the parking lot. The bus tours and trolleys both start and stop here. They have a gift shop with nice souvenirs although a little expensive. We did get a few t-shirts and stuffed animals for the kids. They also sell tickets to everything here as well. This is worth a stop and has free parking. Very friendly staff are here to answer any questions you may have. This is the start to your Ashville vacation.

They have all the info you'll ever need for local Asheville and the surrounding WNC mountains. Clean restrooms. Very helpful staff at every counter. Free Parking is a huge plus and you can walk the few blocks into the city for some great restaurants and goodie shops.... coffee, chocolates, bakeries and ice creams. I recommend the Gray Line City Trolley tour. If you're not already familiar with Asheville. You can choose on and off the trolley at the numerous points of interest.

This was one of the best things we did in Asheville. The trolley tour is more expensive than I expected but well worth the money. I would recommend everyone come here and take the tour.

Thoughtfully laid out with information for every interest. Lots of people available to answer questions. It’s also the first stop for the hop-on/hop-off tour trolley. Ample parking.

Great place to start your Asheville trip! The Grayline trolley hop on hop off is awesome 👍, we stayed on until Biltmore village, then ate at the Well Bred cafe, walked around and got back on again to return back to the visitor center.

I would highly recommend visiting All information centers when going traveling to a new location they have tons of information and helpful tips.. on the area and surrounding areas... I would recommend Heaven over Hell As it is appointed unto men once to die but after that the judgment. Hebrews 9:27 But God commedeth His Love towards us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Very attractive visitor center with ample parking, EV charging options, and a gift shop with snacks and various assorted souvenirs for purchase. Very glad we walked over and got our bearings here.

Lots of good info here. You can park your car here for free and make a short 10 minute walk into the center of Asheville. Such a great deal compared to paying for hourly parking in Asheville center

There is a wealth of information about Asheville. There is even information about relocating, WOW. I'm definitely 😁 tempted because I have been stress free & everyone has been so friendly. It's a reminder of true Southern hospitality. 🤓

Awesome experience, the driver was showing and giving us details about the history of Asheville while riding, it is nice and she will recommend different places for you to have fun. Thanks and keep it up.

Super helpful staff will take time to give you the lowdown on all Asheville has to offer, along with free maps, tips on discounts and info about most worthwhile activities. The gift shop has some really nice souvenirs, local arts and crafts.

Really lovely Visitors Center in Asheville - Tracey and David (from the Biltmore) were super helpful with resources and helping me plan a perfect itinerary for our spring trip. Lots of information and great space to relax or get excited about what to see in the area next. Definitely, stop in to ask all your questions and then be prepared to visit and revisit Asheville over and over.

Super nice people working there. And TONS of brochures, maps, magazines, etc. Probably more than I've ever seen at a visitor center. What I came in for was a map of the river arts district and a map of downtown and I got them but had to ask. The little gift shop is cute because it has hand made things in Asheville but of course you're paying locally made prices. They also have like mini art exhibits which is cool.

We just arrived in Asheville and wanted help organizing our visit so we stopped at the visitor center. One of the volunteers at the desk was amazing. She showed us maps of the area and talked about all of the highlights of Asheville and surrounding towns. She was very patient and seemed to enjoy working with tourists. We are so happy the visitor center was our first stop in Asheville.

Very nice people, we went here to buy tickets and catch the trolley. I highly recommend this if you are visiting and would like to see downtown Asheville. What a gorgeous city!

A nice clean experience, but I think it's funny they allow people to push their bus rides on you inside the visitor center. I guess they're just trying to help the local economy.

Lovely center. Well organized with helpful people and lots of information. I'm new to the city and the Carolinas in general so I just popped in to pick up some info to help me navigate.

We had an interesting experience and in the history was rich. My husband and I went for our honeymoon and thought we'd enjoy a tour of the city. We did not enjoy our time and got off the trolley early, From the moment you sit on the bus it is very uncomfortable, your view is blocked to take pictures. There were no young adults and the trolley driver treated us like children, he other patrons were disrespectful speaking making odd noises. On a positive note the staff inside the visitor center were great, the history was nice. It's not worth the money.

The Asheville Store inside has the best selection of Asheville tshirts of any other store in downtown Asheville! We found it difficult to find tshirts in downtown Asheville, there are a million shops and each shop only has a few shirts, and we didn’t find any we liked. We also found it difficult to park, and had no choice but to walk around and look at the few available shirts in each shop. We attempted and gave up several times, eventually locating this on google. So glad we did, it was a short drive and plenty of free parking. Super cute shirts, hoodies, and even a selection of cropped long sleeve and sweatshirts.

The Onesie One Miler (11/18/23) before the parade was spectacular. Do it again next year. The weather was perfect for a run, then enjoy the parade. Felt super safe 😊. Remember to Post the onesie costume winners on your site ☺️😁
